  1. Re: NAP of the day - Monday 6th April 2015 3.55 Fairyhouse Mydor 8/1 ladbrokes 1 point win. Today I went for one star of the Irish handicap hurdle scene and tomorrow I go for the other. This horse is exceptional, connections were desperate to qualify for Cheltenham but had to settle for a race at Kempton where it performed well to finish third off this mark (No surprise it could cope with the 9 pound rise, despite finishing second in its previous handicap it stretched 8L clear of the third). They always fancy this horse and it has gone off favourite the last 5 times at very short prices for big field handicaps. It's a competitive race and will take all the winning but this horse is well capable. Horendus Hullabaloo also a decent option to take in the race with the form of its last race working out, the 4th and 2nd finishing 1st and second in a decent Cork handicap today, impressively. Lots of these horses have plenty going for them, a very competitive race.

  2. Ziga Boy Haydock 2.00 7/1 ladbrokes. I don't think there's much going on at the higher odds in this handicap and this horse is having an absolutely cracking campaign, the only bad race coming in the dire West Wales National. He ran a decent race off this mark lto and earlier in the year was in the process of running very well when falling at Newbury (traded at an in play minimum of 1.33).

6.35 clonmel Gold Bullet win 9/2 William Hill Takes drop in trip which suits better than the 3m+ it tackled lto , won a bumper here which might stand it in good stead and thought booking of lynch was interesting as thought he usually rides for De Bromhead .
Burke rides for Potts who owns De Bromhead's horse. De Bromhead trains so many of his that Burke is usually his jockey.
  4. Re: Nap of the Day - Thursday 2nd April 2015 Clonmel 7.05 Magical Mother 10/1 bet365 1 point win. Winner for me last time at 25/1 in a weaker race, but won it very nicely. Beat Ardmillan by 4 who has backed up the form very well with another 2nd place off a pound higher. The rest of the field was useless and she'd want to have beaten them pretty handily but that's exactly what she did. I think the 6 pound rise is quite lenient and the horse should go well again in a mediocre race. I think she's still ahead of the handicapper.
