    Sport Recife vs Figueirense
Each of these teams has drawn twice in the opening two rounds. Both have exhibited a lack of rhythm (still missing key starters) and lack of physical conditioning to maintain intensity during matches.
The home team has greater competition in the defensive sector and, unsurprisingly, has so far displayed a consistent defensive system (defending and playing the ball out of defence).  But the team comes from a 1-1 draw away to Bragantino; during which they conceded a 5th minute goal, had to pull a goal back and eventually weathered opposition pressure to preserve the draw after suffering a red card in the72nd minute.
The visitors have had a rather mediocre 2019 and come into this match having gone 7 games without winning. The team had been struggling to score in recent matches but displayed offensive reaction in the last round, coming from behind twice for  a 2-2 draw at home to Sao Bento. The reason was the debut of newly-signed experienced striker Rafael Marquez who was mainly deployed as a play-maker. Marquez also played for the  hosts last year, but performed rather poorly there.
Both teams facing pressure to secure their first win. Host-Coach Guto Fereira clearly seeks more defensive evolution but is under pressure to attack and win at home. Visiting Coach Hemerson Maria, amidst turbulence off-pitch (financial problems and club restructuring), approaches  this away game knowing his team has lesser quality but is counting on greater intensity, quick  transitions and better attacking efficiency. Coritiba vs Sport Recife

Hosts will have the Couto Pereira stadium available again, after a three-week period of re-laying the turf (planting winter grass). After conceding 6 goals and scoring two in three matches, the priority last week was on the team re-discovering its defensive and offensive balance. But the team is facing 3 key absences in the defensive system: centre-back Werley (injured), right-back Leo (injured) and central midfielder Jonas (suspended). However, defensive midfielders Marcio and Wallison Maia plus newly-hired defender Luizao are available.  Coach Pachequinho is set to maintain his philosophy of dominating the midfield. Team finalized preparation with particular attention to dead-ball situations.
The visitors, Sport Recife, are enjoying a good phase; five games unbeaten in all competitions, and four consecutive wins without conceding a goal. The defensive improvement has been notable; with marking starting at the front and defensive performance remaining consistent despite changes in the central defence pairing. They played in mid-week; winning 2-0 at home to Argentina’s Arsenal Sarandi in the Copa Sudamericana. Midfielder Thomas returns from injury but the team will miss their key attacking midfielder Diego Souza, who is still distracted by possible transfer to another club.

Without three key defensive pieces, hosts’ Coach Pachequinho will go for an even more conservative approach in this game; while the visiting Luxemburgo will also seek to maintain a tight defence as he is set to miss his main attacking outlet. Under 2.5 goals.

    Banfield vs Rosario Central
Hosts have displayed orderly and astonishingly reliable performance this season. They are currently in third spot with 51 points, just one point behind River Plate and five points behind table-leaders Boca Juniors; and in line for a spot in next year’s Copa Libertadores, with just three rounds to go! Banfield have been very consistent at home: 10 wins, two draws and just one defeat (against leaders Boca); and come into this game having won all the last five home fixtures. Coach Julio Cesar Falcioni prefers a closed game, counter-attacking through fast transitions through the middle.
Rosario Central seeks to hold down the last spot for next year’s Copa Sudamericana, in a crowded portion of the table. However, Defensa’s home defeat yesterday (1-2 against Independiente) has provided a reprieve for Rosario Central: a draw in today’s game would cement the coveted spot as the remaining rivals (Defensa and Talleres) have to win their remaining two games with large goal difference. Nevertheless, Coach Paolo Montero comes into this game with doubts in the offensive sector – which has stuttered in the last two fixtures (both ended 0-0). Key striker Marco Ruben is out for the season (knee operation). Strike-partner Teofilo Gutierez played 45 minutes in Colombia’s friendly against Cameroon in Spain and returned on Wednesday, requiring physical assessment prior to this game. Without his reference target-man and with a struggling offensive, Coach Montero’s primary objective was to tactically adapt to the circumstances – through a re-organized defence to allow for fluid attack via the wings.
Both coaches’ primary objective is to hold on to their current positions in the league table. With chasing pack breathing down their necks, the hosts have no option but to take the initiative; against a Rosario side with a stuttering attack at the moment while avoiding defeat will also fit its objective. Under 2.5 goals.

    Nautico vs Parana

Nautico started the championship in the midst of a financial crisis, with key players leaving and the club unable to make quality replacements. Even experienced ‘fire-fighter’ Coach Waldemar Lemos admitted that he had never been in this situation before and called for patience before the team can exhibit good performance. The team is firmly at the bottom of the table; with two draws and four losses. They come from a 4-2 thrashing away to Internacional. Nevertheless, the team is showing evolution, particularly in attack.

Though visiting Parana has had inconsistent results lately (team comes from a draw away and a defeat at home), Coach Cristian Souza seems to be making progress towards his preferred starting team. But he is yet to find the ideal tactical formation. In the latest 1-0 home defeat against Guarani, he changed from 4-1-4-1 to 4-4-2 but his team was not competitive and, instead, displayed collective disorganization that further irritated the fans. The team started poorly and particularly lacked creativity.  Already one position above the relegation zone and under pressure, Coach Souza promised to ‘re-balance’ his team while the players seek immediate improvement in competitiveness. Parana is also mourning it’s player Jonas Pessalli, who died in a car accident on Monday morning.
Thus, offensively-improving hosts meet a wounded visiting side intent on an immediate reaction. BTTS and Over 2.5 goals.

    Londrina vs Parana

Hosts come from a 1-0 loss away to Ceara, where they were well-organized and only conceded a last-minute goal. Thus, team lost three places and approaches the relegation zone; therefore must respond and not lose to a state rival, to avoid pressure so early in the championship. Londrina has so far shown a defensive system that is still insecure; already conceding 6 goals in 4 games, which gives an average of 1.5 goals per game. Coach Claudio Tencati gets back key striker Jonatas Belusso (3 goals) from suspension.
Parana’s new Coach Cristian Souza inherited a team with defensive efficiency but lacking an effective attack; and he set out to solve the team’s attacking problem. Parana comes into this game fresher, as it did not play over the weekend. But they were ejected from the Brazil Cup after losing 2-0 away to Atletico MG in mid-week, a game in which Parana displayed a new commitment to attack – despite facing a clearly superior team. But they lost first-choice goalkeeper Leo to injury in that game, though they have since signed a new keeper as well as a new striking addition – Rafhael Lucas.

Hosts with a leaky defence face a fresher and more offensively committed visiting team. Away win.

    America MG vs Ceara
Hosts come from a 0-2 loss at home to table-leaders Paysandu, thus losing their unbeaten run. Team played well and created chances in first half,  failed to convert but then conceded a counter-attack goal in 44-minute, which changed the game. In second half, team showed more anxiety, laboured to breach the opponents’ defence and had little creativity, before conceding another counter-attack goal in 76-minute.  Coach Enderson Moreira expects a response and greater concentration from his team in this game against Ceara.
Ceara comes from a home win 1-0 against Londrina, but required a goal in 89-minute! Team climbed to 5th spot with 7 points; now with momentum after two wins in a row. But team faces two away games (America MG & Brasil Pelotas), with marathon travel complications involving total flight time of 11hours and 20 minutes plus another 6 hours and 55 minutes by bus. Team will face travel exhaustion, with less time for resting and training. Experienced Coach Givanildo Oliveira is likely to go for a cohesive and pragmatic team selection. Under 1.5 goals.

    CRB vs Brasil Pelotas
Hosts are still enjoying the momentum of winning the Alagoan state championship. Despite limited investment, the team has two experienced strikers in Neto Baiano and Ze Carlos. CRB’s strength lies in playing at home (King Pele stadium), where they display a dominant, confident but patient style. They already won their first two home games, against Ceara and the fancied Santa Cruz. They are coming from their first defeat in the championship; a 2-0 loss away to Oeste over the weekend. Striker Neto Baiano got his third yellow card and will be suspended for this game, though another striker Mailyson returns to the team.
The visitors have been improving with every round of the championship and they come from their first victory over the weekend, 2-0 at home to bottom club Nautico.
Home team is seeking immediate recovery in this game, with Coach Leo Conde preaching defensive concentration throughout the game. Visiting Coach Rogerio Zimmermann has had a consistent team that is strong and combative in defence. Under 2.5 goals.

    Quilmes vs Patronato
Both teams are battling relegation, though Patronato have a slightly better chance with a better calculated average than the hosts. And after this game, Quilmes’ next two opponents will also be relegation strugglists ie Atletico Rafaela (away) and Arsenal Sarandi (home). In this situation, the hosts would be expected to take the initiative in this match, but their biggest problem is the lack of creative ability; scoring only one goal and conceding five in the last five league matches. Indeed their best player in recent matches has been the goalkeeper Cesar Rigamonti, who has almost single-handedly kept the team’s hopes through incredible saves. As a team, they have generally lacked the individual quality to play against most of the teams in the Primera division; the players do put in effort but it is not enough. They also face another problem at home - the fans tend to convey more anxiety towards the team.
The visitors themselves have gone 11 league games without a win; 6 draws and 5 defeats. They similarly struggle for goals, scoring three and conceding 8 in the last five games. However, they have been very tight defensively when playing away, gaining 4 draws and conceding only 3 goals in their last five away matches.
Hosts have no other option but to win and are expected to take the initiative in a 3-4-3 formation. But defeat would equally complicate the plight of the visitors, whose critical objective in this match is to avoid losing. The visitors will keep faith in their 4-1-4-1 away formation to nullify their opponents while waiting for any opportunity to counter-attack. Draw and Under 2.5 goals.

    Brasil Pelotas vs Nautico
Hosts have not had a win yet (two draws and one loss) in the three rounds so far played. Therefore, they have an opportunity to get their first three points and to rise in the table. Coach Rogerio Zimmermann will make two modifications for this match – both in the defensive sector ie central defender Evaldo replaces Teco who was red-carded in the last match away to Goias, while Wender takes the place of right-back Eder Sciola who performed poorly in the same game. However, newly-acquired center-forward Lincom will finally be available, though he will start on the bench. Coach Zimmermann believes his team has been steadily evolving since the defeat in the first game of the championship.
The visitors, Nautico, have started the champioship facing a financial crisis, with unpaid player wages and some players refusing to play. The team stated with one draw followed by two consecutive defeats. It is also the only team yet to score in the competition. The options for Coach Waldemar Lemos were restricted with the departure of three key players: left-back Giovanni as well as attacking midfielders Marco Antonio and Dudu. This was worsened by the injury of  young striker Erick, while experienced striker Anselmo and midfielder Maylson are unwilling to play while still re-negotiating their contracts. For this match, Lemos will repeat the team that lost the last game 2-0 away to Ceara; except for newly-hired right-winger Jeanderson who replaces Manoel, and new striker Geronimo who may get his first start.
Hosts are steadily improving and are more likely to get their first win. The visitors are still in crisis, especially lacking upfront and are more likely to adopt a defensive stance. Home win and Under 2.5 goals.

    River Plate vs Rosario Central

Boca Juniors’ unexpected 1-1 draw, away to Huracan yesterday, has suddenly swung the title momentum towards River Plate; which can climb to the top of the table if they beat Rosario today and also win their game in hand on Wednesday away to Atletico Tucuman.
The hosts come from a 1-2 home loss to Colombia’s Independiente Medellin on Thursday, in the Copa Libertadores. Despite the fact that River had already qualified for the last 16 and Coach Marcello left seven regulars out of the starting eleven, the loss was still embarrassing as the club was celebrating its 116th birthday.  Coach Gallardo is keen for his team to recover from that mishap and, particularly, to address the team’s lack of concentration in leaving behind spaces for their opponents to capitalize on. Gallardo will repeat the team that won 3-1 away against Boca Juniors and also beat Gimnazia LP 0-3 away on Tuesday.
The visitors, Rosario Central, have a very poor record against the hosts; just five draws and 11 defeats from all their visits in the last two decades, with more recent history indicating three consecutive defeats! But they have been on good form recently; 8 wins, one draw and only one loss in the last ten league games. And they come from a 4-1 home thrashing of Racing. Uruguayan Coach Paolo Montero will make only one change in the team that defeated Racing; Jose Leguizamon will enter for the suspended Paulo Ferrari.
Hosts have no option but to seek a win after Boca’s unexpected slip yesterday. Home win and Under 2.5 goals.

Some very rare value around today in my opinion and not what we tend to see at this stage of the season, going to break with tradition and have a few pokes.
Going to list the odds and bracket the computer odds of the games of interest below, any win bet that looks optimistic will hopefully be covered by LAYS of the teams at poor odds.
    Birmingham 2.55. (3.45) v Huddersfield 2.4. (3.0)
    Lay Brum @ 2.56 BF.
Birmingham made a poor decision to sack Rowett and matched it with the choice of Redknapp for final three games, a proper lay despite home advantage. Both teams have all to play for so have to come down on the side of seasonal performance.
    Blackburn 2.1. (2.66) v Aston Villa 3.9. (3.1)
    Lay Blackburn @ 2.12 BF.
Blackburn impressed me at Forest two weeks ago, shutting up shop and scoring with a dead ball situation to win 1-0, not performed like that since so just one win in last six is reason enough to lay them despite home advantage.
Villa were so poor not so long ago, even the home fans were tired of the excuses from Bruce but have seen the upturn in form that such an expensive squad should be achieving.
    Brighton 1.6. (1.59) v BristolC 7.0. (7.0)
    Brighton WIN@ 1.6.
No explanation required as Brighton really want this one and at value odds on all known form tables, and the fact that they have been the best in the division all season.
    QPR 2.52 (2.52) v Forest 3.15 (3.6)
    Forest WIN @ 3.15.
QPR on a run of six straight defeats and would have been in real trouble had this run started a few games earlier, many of us thought that the punishment for breaking FFP rules should have seen them relegated to the conference instead of promotion to the EPL a few years back, as Leicester should have been with the administration scam that ensured promotion to the EPL sixteen years ago.
Forest are recently out of embargo after three years for a lesser breach of the rules that also saw Leeds and Blackburn punished, all three clubs having paid a high price for not being able to reduce the wage bill. Blackburn may indeed suffer the biggest penalty and will sadly compound this sad situation of inconsistent punishment due to the corrupt nature of the game in recent years.
Warburton will have Forest ready for this as last week`s win over Reading has given us a great chance of survival against the odds in another season of poor ownership decisions and another three managers. Forest have now beaten six of the seven top sides with one draw despite all of this, and would be a poor show not to get something from this all important game today after putting themselves in with such a live chance.
    Reading 1.84 (1.71) v Wigan 4.6 (6.0)
    Reading WIN 1.84.
Reading really need three points at a real price here after the defeat last week, while Wigan are just poor and missing key players.
    Good luck today fellas.

    Rosario Central vs Atletico Tucuman
Hosts come from a disappointing 2-2 draw away to Sarmiento, losing their defensive balance and conceding two goals. For this clash, their offensive momentum will be affected by the missing Marco Ruben, captain and team's main attacking reference, . The focus will be on regaining defensive balance and greater composure upfront.
The visitors appear to have their focus on next week's Copa Libertadores clash, away to Jorge Wilstermann (Bolivia), and they need a result to get off the bottom of the group table. Expect conservative play to reserve energy for the important trip to Bolivia. Under 2.5 goals

    Rosario Central vs Tigre
Hosts' expectations of fighting for the title were scuttled with their poor performance in the first phase of the championship, meaning they will only seek to rebuild in this phase and expect to be more competitive next season. Coach Chacho Coudet paid the price for that poor performance and was replaced by Uruguayan Paulo Montero. They come from a morale-boosting 1-0 away win against Quilmes, a result that has further raised expectations for winning today's match because the team also has to atone for the previous 1-0 home loss to Godoy Cruz. The new coach is still discovering his best eleven; but the fans expect three points from this match.
The visitors are in an unstable situation after Coach Pedro Troglio resigned, following two consecutive defeats in the first two matches of this phase. Pepe Castro will stand in for this match but has not had much time to change things. Home win

    Sarmiento vs Tigre
Hosts are on a high. Since the appointment of Jorge Burruchaga as Coach (replacing Gabriel Schurrer), Sarmiento have not lost in three games - two away wins and one home draw. They come from a very good away win 3-1 against Quilmes, despite being a man down. The coaching change and mental recovery appear to be the keys behind this revival. Coach Burruchaga has ensured continuity by giving confidence to the same eleven in these three games. The team found balance and effectiveness,  especially in the offensive sector (scoring 7 goals and conceding 4 in the three games). Thus, they have added seven points and are very close to leaving the relegation zone - this is the main objective of the team in this game against Tigre and the next one away to Aldosivi, before the Christmas recess. And recent results have galvanized the local Junin population to support the team for this home tie.
The visitors, Tigre, have had a difficult early season as the team has been ravaged by continuous injuries to key players: Goalkeeper Javier Garcia broke his cruciate ligaments and has been sidelined since; the same injury was then suffered by key striker Lucas Janson (former Boca and the crown jewel of the team) as well as to Fernando Redondo Jr (son of the reknowned midfielder); while other key players like attacking midfielder Diego Morales, defender Fernando Godoy, Gaspar Iniguez and midfielder Lucas Menossi suffered muscle tears, sprains and other injuries. Thus, Coach Pedro Troglio has not chance to play a settled eleven in the previous  eleven match days. Some of these players (Godoy and Iniguez) have recovered. But the youth players, earlier drafted in to cover for the absences,  are now doing well and holding down positions in the team (especially defensive midfielder Alexis Castro, attacking midfielder Diego Sosa and striker Carlos Lunar). But Tigre has displayed inconsistency - alternating good performances (at home) with poor ones (away). The only player who has appeared in all the previous games, Martin Galmarini (defender and captain), is suspended for this tie after accumulating five yellow cards. This may weaken the visitors' defence.
Home team now has momentum, with a settled and increasingly confident eleven. The visitors have lacked team stability, are poor away from home and come with a suspect defence for this tie. Home win.

    English League Two:
    Stevenage vs Doncaster Rovers
Despite their current mid-table position (14th), Stevenage are currently on form  with three wins and a draw in the last four games. They are coming from a 2-1 win away to Portsmouth, arguably their most impressive win of the season. In a match where they were largely dominated, they again displayed their current resilience and were deadly in front of goal. Dominant centre-forward Matt Godden has had a run of five goals in seven games and has been rewarded with a new 2-year contract this week. But most of Stevenage's recent points were earned away, while notably conceding goals at home. This is the first of two games in hand, both of which the team seeks to win in order to improve their placing ahead of the Christmas schedule.
Doncaster Rovers have plenty of momentum and motivation ahead of this tie. A win will open up an eight-point cushion over fourth-placed Portsmouth. With Carlisle and Plymouth engaged in FA Cup ties this weekend, Doncaster will also jump to the top of the table with a win here. Further, Manager Darren Ferguson is also keen for his team to maintain the current momentum and also achieving four straight league wins for the first time in his Rovers reign. Doncaster have scored 12 goals but conceded 9 in the last five league matches.
So, we have two highly motivated teams; both on form, scoring but conceding. BTTS and Over 2.5 goals.

Chapecoense club is making arrangements for a collective burial at the club's stadium, the Arena Conde. The Brazillian FA (CBF) has suspended all games for a seven-day mourning period. Brazilian Serie A teams have offered to loan players to Chapecoense, to help it return to the field.

    Colon vs Newells
Hosts come from a narrow 1-0 loss away to league leaders Estudiantes, frustrated in failing to gain at least a point after Pablo Ledesma missed a penalty near the end. Now they host in-form Newells.  Colon's defence is weakened by absence of central defender Ortiz. Colon coach Paolo Montero is reverting to a 4-4-2 scheme to play a bit more expansively and create space against a team that defends well. Coach Montero's offensive game plan is highlighted by his choice of youngster Leguizamon to partner Blanco in attack, at the expense of Sandoval; with the young man preferred because he is an out-and-out striker who who moves in more advanced attacking positions.
Newells are currently in form; with three wins, one draw and one loss in the last five games - and scoring in each of them. For this game, they come from a morale-boosting 1-0 home win against River Plate; in which they had less possession and passing but were more efficient and dangerous with the ball. While they can defend well, their real strength lies in attack; particularly from the trio of Maxi Rodriguez, Ignacio Scocco and Mauro Formica. Coach Diego Osella preaches tactical rigor but also seeks intensity and passion from his players.
Hosts have a defensive weakness today and have opted for a more offensive game plan; against an in-form opponent whose strength is efficiency in attack. BTTS

    Joinville vs Vila Nova
Hosts have momentum in their desperate battle against relegation, following last weekend's 2-0 away win against direct rivals Oeste. But they play this last and key match of the season in an empty stadium - punished for their fans' behavior in the derby against Avai. But they are in a must-win situation, otherwise they face relegation; and they have to attack.
Vila Nova have been playing well lately, especially away from home; with their games involving goals - scoring and conceding. But for this game, they are severely depleted in the midfield - meaning they cannot use a defensive and counter-attack strategy; but have to press and hold the ball in the opponents' offensive sector. This is the last game for Coach Guilherme Alves and some players who may seek other clubs; so they will seek to have a positive end to the season.
Home win and Over 2.5 goals.
    Atletico-Go vs Bahia
Hosts are are already confirmed as title winners and will receive the title after this game. The team seeks to end the season with a good performance to avoid spoiling the party mood. And they are likely to continue with the offensive game displayed in the run-up to the end of the season.
Bahia need at least a draw in this game to ensure promotion to Serie A. They have displayed offensive and open play in the last two games. Coach Guto Fereira has all his squad available. But he appeared to emphasize total concentration in the training sessions prior to this game and is likely to repeat his more cautious/defensive scheme to contain the hosts in this decisive match. Under 2.5 goals.

    Vitoria vs Figueirense
Hosts are on the prowl in the fight against relegation, and are particularly scoring goals at the moment. The visitors have only a mathematical chance of avoiding relegation but are currently struggling to score and have been so poor away from home (one draw and four losses with no goal scored in the last five away games). They are also disadvantaged because Vitoria Coach Argel Fucks had a short stint as coach of Figueirense in July and August 2016; and so has good  knowledge of the opponents. Home win.
    Cruzeiro vs Santos
Hosts have improved their form recently (winning the last two matches and losing only one game in the last eight matches) and still retain hopes of a G6 spot for Copa Libertadores. Coach Mano Menezes is boosted by the return from injury of three players - defender Bruno Rodrigo, Bruno Ramirez and midfielder Robinho; but misses right-winger Rafael Sorbis.
Santos must win to retain any hope of the title. With the return of central defender David Braz, Coach Dorival Junior has almost full-strength, with only defender Gustavo Henrique missing. BTTS and Over 2.5 goals.
    Gremio vs America MG
Hosts' main focus is the Brazil Cup final, whose first leg is due this Thursday - away to Atletico MG. They will likely play reserves and seek a dignified result in this game against America MG; and particularly avoid a multi-goal embarrassment as happened in the last 0-3 home loss to Sport Recife.
    Under 2.5 goals.
    Santa Cruz vs Atletico MG
Hosts are already relegated and in melancholy mood. The visitors' priority is the first leg of the Brazil Cup, which they will host on Thursday against Gremio; and so, key players will be saved. Both teams will play merely to fulfill this fixture. Under 2.5 goals.
    Palmeiras vs Botafogo
After 22 years without the national title, the hosts may have a party this weekend if they win and the other results go their way - a defeat for Santos and any setback for Flamengo.
Botafogo have hit a patch of poor form recently, not won in three games (two draws and one loss). But they retain an interest in a G6 spot for Copa Libertadores and have been playing well  away from home recently, based on a tight defence. But Coach Jair Ventura will have three key absences: central midfielder Bruno Silva (ill), central midfielder Airton and left-back Victor Luis (both suspended).
With the title so close and playing at home, Palmeiras cannot make any mistake. Home win
    Chapecoense vs Sao Paulo
Hosts are safe in mid-table and are bang in form but are distracted by their good performance in the Copa Sudamericana, where they are in the semi-finals and retain high hopes of reaching the final. In the first leg of the semis, they had a creditable 1-1 draw away to Argentinian club San Lorenzo; and will host the return leg on Thursday. Therefore, they are likely to save a number of their regular players from this tie with Sao Paulo.
Hosts have been playing well defensively and are likely to play conservatively in this game. The visitors have also been in form recently but they struggle to score away from home. Under 2.5 goals

    Luverdense vs Goias
Both teams have no chance of promotion and are safe from relegation. But this is Luverdense's last home game of the season and seeks to maintain their unbeaten home run in this second phase of the season (eight wins and one draw). They also seek to be in the top ten at the end of the season, but their last game in the next round is away to tricky CRB. For this game, home Coach Junior Rocha misses central midfielder Jean Patrick to suspension.
Goias appears to be in farewell/holiday mood and simply seeks to end the campaign (next Tuesday against relegated Sampiao) with dignity. Club president is seeking to renew the contract of Coach Gilson Kleina, who arrived at the club in September, and thereafter begin modeling the squad for next year. Team comes from a frenetic 3-2 home win against relegation battling Joinville last friday; following which it is now missing three players in today's game.  Despite a long and tiresome journey to Lucas do rio Verde, Coach Kleina still promised a strong, organized and competitive game.
Hosts simply have better motivation against tired and holiday-thinking visitors. Home win.

    English League Two:
    Carlisle vs Exeter
Tricky match between two wounded sides. Carlisle had its unbeaten run ended in a 2-0 defeat away to bottom-of-table Newport last weekend; conceding an early (second minute) goal in the first half, before succumbing to another counter-attack goal in the second half. Carlisle is widely expected to react with a win in today's game and Manager Keith Curle added fuel to this expectation by declaring that his side will "react and will be dangerous".
But the opponents are another second-bottom team - Exeter - who also lost 1-3 at home to Doncaster; in a match they led but eventually lost through a late second half collapse, conceding three goals! This added more pressure on under-fire Manager Paul Tisdale.
Therefore, both sides will seek to avoid another defeat and will be particularly keen to maintain their shape through out the game. While Carlisle have improved their home form this season (unbeaten at home so far), Exeter plays better and gets most of its points away from home. Draw
    Cambridge vs Wycombe
Two sides that have a number of similarities! Both have same points (19), lying next to each other in the table. And both come from morale-boosting wins in the last round; Cambridge winning 3-1 away to Crawley, while Wycombe had their first win in five league games by winning 2-0 at home to Morecambe. Cambridge has enjoyed a resurgent run in recent games, but Wycombe has the head-to-head edge in this fixture.
They share a similar style of play: strong and organized sides, relying on big centre-backs and energetic midfield, and both good at set-pieces. Cambridge Manager Shaun Derry tends to adopt a more conservative stance (3-5-2 formation) at home and will particularly avoid conceding early, as happened last Saturday. Wycombe Manager Gareth Ainsworth always prioritizes resolute defending.
Therefore, they'll be out to nullify each other. Draw and Under 2.5 goals
