Back Daria Gavrilova (+1.5 sets) to beat Simona Halep for a 4/10 stake at 2.75 with Pinnacle Back Daria Gavrilova to beat Simona Halep for a 3/10 stake at 6.08 with Pinnacle Gavrilova is a rising star and capable of big things already, while Halep seems to be going through some serious personal issues at the moment, so I'm happy to give this a go at odds this big. Well done, mate, but Halep lost first set, not Gavrilova won.

I'm from Romania, i know that they wasn't close. If Halep don't want to play here she withdraw and go home, how she did last year. I can see only 2-0 Halep here.
  3. Re: February 23 - March 1 Back Inglot/Mergea to beat Verdasco/Lopez for a 8/10 stake at 1.90 with Locat Bet. Inglot and Mergea are a solid team and Verdasco/ Lopez aren't a good team.. Also, Iglot played a lot of games this year, with very good results and Verdasco don't play since 2011, with worst results. GL!

  4. Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 20th - 22nd

Very good previews, mate! Been following you again since you are back in form. Keep it up! I've got a question for you! Do you think Guingamp will lose away to Dynamo Kiev in the EL? COnsidering they only struggled to win against 9 men, I think they could be comfortable to bet against in the return leg. What's your opinion on that.
    What's happened at Caen?
  5. Re: February 16 - February 22

Sergiy Stakhovsky (+1.5 sets) to beat Stan Wawrinka @ 2.510 Pinnacle Sergiy Stakhovsky (+4 games) to beat Stan Wawrinka @ 2.130 Pinnacle Stakhovsky tends to enjoy indoor conditions and his form right now is good, so he could have a chance against Wawrinka here. The Swiss has won six matches in a row so is obviously playing well, but having won the title in Rotterdam last week he might not be quite as motivated to go deep this week. Even if he is, Stakhovsky's serve is such that the Ukrainian can be difficult to break and so if a tight match ensues these lines could be covered.
If he wasn't motivated he would prefer to lost against Paire, who is his friend.. :) I go for 2-0 Wawrinka. Do you know if Herbert PH is fit? Is my last match and is at offline bet.
  6. Re: February 2 - February 8

No, you can't think like that when you place a bet. Because a player the day before played a doubles match does'nt mean he will do well in singles. This year Rafael Nadal played and won a doubles match in Doha the day before he was about to meet Berrer in second round as the reigning champion and still he lost.

  7. Re: February 2 - February 8

You are really confusing. After my answer you know that he is not a claycourter and he has'nt played on clay since july and Gonzalez is 100% about clay but still you go with Lopez. Why don't you just pick another match? A rule when it comes to these smaller tournaments is to avoid matches like this with the highest seed going straight into round 2.
Because he played 1 match with Marach and they won easy that match.
  8. Re: February 2 - February 8

If you ask me I would be careful about Lopez if you think about Feliciano because he's got no matchpractice whatsoever in almost a year on clay and he's facing Alejandro Gonzalez and that guy is all about clay. If you mean G G-Lopez I would be careful about him to. It's not unlikely that Dzumhur takes a set. Edit: Feliciano have'nt played on clay since 10th of July last year and clay is not even his best surface and Alejandro beat him in Houston last year. Even though Lopez did retire after he had lost first set and played 2 games of the second it does'nt look too good for him in Quito.
Yea, i forgot.. Feliciano :)) Feliciano played yesterday 1 match with Marach .. I go with Lopez win, i can't trust Gonzalez.

Back Dudi Sela to beat Denis Istomin for a 7/10 stake at 2.05 with Pinnacle Istomin is yet to win a match in the new season, while Sela seems to be doing fairly well at the moment, so I'll back the man from Israel here at odds against. The conditions were supposed to trouble him in the first round, but they didn't, so why exactly should he be the underdog in this one? Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/sela-vs-istomin-betting-dudi-sela-to-defeat-denis-istomin-on-thursday
Czech, what do you think about Lopez? 2-0?
  10. Re: February 2 - February 8

Back Robin Haase to beat Andreas Seppi for a 7/10 stake at 3.60 with BetVictor A good chance for Haase I'd say, Seppi might find it hard to compete at this level after such a good run in Melbourne (and might also be tired physically/mentally). With Haase being the bigger hitter of the two, which should count for something in the Zagreb conditions, I'm happy to have a play on him at odds this big. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/haase-vs-seppi-betting-robin-haase-has-what-it-takes-to-upset-andreas-seppi-in-zagreb
Good bet, i saw Seppi/Youzhny and Seppi was very poor.

1pt E/W B.Coric to win ATP Auckland 28/1 BetFred Worth a little one pointer each way as Coric should get through Busta without an issue. Normally in this tournament we'd have Isner or Ferrer set up to win it but with neither of those it could actually be anyones. Agut, Anderson, Robredo. Gulbis. Plenty have a chance. Coric would face Steve Johnson in round 2 which will be a tough match but he can win that one too. Kevin Anderson which would be a huge test for him but if he gets past him Id fancy him against Gulbis as he has beaten him already recently in straight sets. Don't get me wrong it's not "Likely"... no 28/1 dog is likely, but it keeps me interested.
What do you think about Lu against Monaco?
  12. Re: Pre-Season - January 11

Grigor Dimitrov +1.5 sets handicap vs Roger Federer at 1.84 with Pinnacle 4pts Grigor Dimitrov vs Roger Federer over 22 games at 1.85 4pts Dimitrov played a horrendous match the last time these two met and it was 100% down to the fact he was playing his idol. On this occasion I expect the anxiety to be less and him to perform a little more. His serve has been on this tournament and he has the minerals defensively to get into the Federer service games. The low knife cutting slice is something that will trouble Roger and neutralise his attack, particularly when we consider his (Federer's) forehand isn't what it used to be. Grigor has the best slice backhand in tennis at this moment and it's one of the reasons he rarely loses to heavy hitting ball-strikers. Grigor's right-out-of-the-federer-textbook forehand will need to be on-song today and granted it is, I see a fairly close encounter. Simone Halep vs Timea Baschinskzy Under 20 games at 2.02 4pts Can't see how she's pushing her, especially not in a final where Simone will be fully focused from start to finish. Maria Sharapova vs Ana Ivanovic Over 20 games at 1.94 with Pinnacle 5 pts Ana Ivanovic to beat Maria Sharapova at 3.8 with Pinnacle 2pts Bookies are snorting coacine. Truly, snorting the fucking white stuff. Ivanovic is a difficult match-up for Sharapova, on every surface bearing the red muddy clay. This is going to be a close encounter and is pretty much a coin toss IMO. Only thing that gives Maria the edge is experience, but then again Ana has picked a lot of that up over the last year and is pretty sound in high pressure situations now a days. It's banal, you don't need to have any sort of mild even profound understanding on the sport of tennis to be taking this pick. They're clear obvious, strikingly obvious, picks to be taking. Steve Darcis -3 games handicap vs Menendez-Macerias at 1.77 with Pinnacle 3pts There clearly is only one winner on this surface and that is Steve. Despite Menendez having some good hustle, Steve shouldn't have a problem taking this one. Zeballos to beat James Mcgee at 1.76 with Pinnacle 4pts This is a little bit of a one sided encounter interms of matchup, Mcgee has no weapons whatsoever, other than the occasional serve. His backhand isn't brilliant and he'll be playing a lot of them, granted Zeballos isn't a headcase, he should come through pretty much unscathed. The forehand and serve will be enough to see him home, even on a hardcourt. Mott vs Sugita over 22.5 games at 1.8 with Bet365 4pts Mott to beat Sugita at 2.4 with Pinnacle 3pts Should be a close one this, Sugita has the counter-punching finesse to take care of young Mott, however the kid has firepower and will be able to take charge of the points on return when Sugita is serving second serves. I feel we will have a close encounter here and it is for me, particularly in Australia, a 50/50 encounter. Gonzalo Lama vs Igor Sisling Over 18.5 games at 1.8 Bet365 5pts Gonzalo Lama to beat Igor Sisling at 5.52 with Pinnacle 3pts Lama is an out and out claycourter, but as I have mentioned before, claycourters can easily transition to hardcourt without as much fuss as most people think. Especially the claycourters that rely on big, controlled aggressive tennis, with the forehand. In Lama's case he's got the serve and the forehand, heavy, heavy topsin powered serve and forehand. The problem is his backhand is a largely inexistent shot. Sisling's backhand is also a largely inexistent shot and he hasn't come out this season firing. If Sisling doesn't serve well, he's barely a challenger level player IMO. Andrew Harris vs Marcus Baghdatis Over 20 games at 1.92 with Pinnacle 4pts Andrew is a good match-player with game, his shot selection is staggeringly good already, even for his age. I expect he'll push Marcus in this one here with the home support behind him. Bolt vs Harrison Over 22 games at 1.84 with Pinnacle 3pts Bolt to beat Harrison at 2.79 with Pinnacle 2pts I believe this to be a slightly closer encounter than the bookies and punters suggest. Ryan struggles with lefties and I believe he'll struggle with this one.
Simona Halep, mate . :)))) SimonA. Ty for tips.
  13. Re: Pre-Season - January 11

If you looked back on my threads over the years, I ALWAYS lay Raonic however when it comes to the hard courts I leave him be because judging on his previous match where he smashed in like 17 aces, he looks well up for it. I think he will win his match in straight sets. I think if we was not in Australia then he would be even more of a favourite. I was actually looking at Klizan but this game is also a non bet for me because Dimitrov I think will win it. It could be anything score wise depending on which Dimitrov turns up but there is just no value in this game for me. Klizan is a good player but again, a clay courter for me and I think he may struggle with the returns. So in summary, no bet :)
Ty, I'll try : Raonic, Dimitrov, Wozniacki, Nishi 2-0, Hingis/Lisicki and Halep. Too dangerous?
  14. Re: Pre-Season - January 11

3pts K.Nishikori to beat B.Tomic 2-0 Evens BetWin I think Kei has a good shot at this tournament and he should beat Tomic here without dropping a set. I can only find one head-2-head but that was on the grass in which Nish won. He will want to get in good prep for his Australian bid and I haven't been too impressed with Tomic who although won his two matches in straight sets, struggled to win them with half of the sets being tie-breakers against not so tough opponents. Nish in two for me.
What do you think about Dimitrov and Raonic?
  15. Re: Pre-Season - January 11

Back Rhyne Williams to beat John Millman for a 6/10 stake at 2.94 with Pinnacle Am I missing something or do these odds really make little sense? Millman finished the 2014 season on a high, I'll give you that, but he'll be facing an in-form guy that has just beaten three decent players in the qualifiers without dropping any sets, so there surely has to be some value in backing the American at 2.94. Otelul vs. Astra Giurgiu

Odds are about right for this game, with league bottom Otelul meeting a strong Astra side which has to get back on track in Liga I. Otelul had a really poor season so far, lost many players from last season and are playing at a level they can't cope at the moment. I hardly believe there is any chance for them to stay in Liga I after this season. They are Liga II material. Great result for them in last game, where they took home a huge point from drawing 0:0 with Petrolul. But to be honest, it was all about really good luck for them in that game, as Petrolul had many chances of taking the lead but GK Hotoboc had a really good day. Zaharia and Jula are both missing through injuries today, both important players for first team, while Avdic is recovering after surgery. Astra hasn't been at it's best lately, with only 2 victories in last 10 games in all competitions. Last round in Liga I they won 2:1 and midweek they drew 1:1 against Celtic in Euroipa League so they might get going again. Honestly, Astra's only chance this year is in the league and being 7 points away from 1st placed Steaua, they can't afford to give up points especially against such weak sides as Otelul. They have three players coming back from suspension, Ben Youssef, Oros and Morais which should all start today. I know Astra played this Thursday in Europa League, but they should be capable of handling two games per week, and even thought Astra won only once in Galati in past 10 games, it's a different story nowadays. They only started being a top level side since 2012 and they showed it last season when they won at Galati with 4:0. I expect Astra to score couple of goals today with a good attack minded midfield-attack line and I doubt Otelul which scored 5 goals in 13 games will have the power to score as many as them. I'll be taking my chances with this game as I expect Astra to be getting all three points if they wanna stay in the fight for the title. Maybe another good betting options would be to play them HT/FT at 2.50 as Astra used to smash weak sides in first half past seasons. Pick: Away Win @ 1.62 with Bet365 - 5/10 Points

What do you think about Steaua?
  17. Re: October 27 - November 2

Back Roger Federer (-3) to beat Milos Raonic for a 7/10 stake at 1.84 with Pinnacle Raonic is bound to run out of luck at some point and I think that this is it. Federer has a good record against the Canadian and he looked fine enough against Pouille yesterday, so chances are that he's going to advance to the semis in style.
