  1. Re: CONCACAF Champions League 2014/2015 FAS v New York Red Bulls New York Red Bulls are travelling to El Salvador to meet the poorest team in their group. NY has to win to keep it's hopes of moving forward. Manager said 90% of the team made the trip to El Salvador and we can expect Tim Cahill to start. Don't know yet if Wright-Phillips made the trip, but seems like Thierry Henry did not. I expect a convincing NY win here with a much stronger NY side. FAS best stricker is also injured. Even though NY tends to suck on the road, I'm very positive they'll win this one comfortably and send a message to MTL at the same time. New York -1.0 at 1.725 has real good value imo. OV 2.5 @ 1.6 is also tempting (all on b365) DC United vs Tauro DC hosting Tauro tonight. DC are a very strong team at home and with a point, they will clinch their group. DC United are a much stronger side that Tauro. Since Tauro lost 4-1 to Waterhouse away and that DC beat Waterhouse twice, I cannot see another result than a home win here. I don,t know what kind of line up DC will put up but that shouldn't matter since they are a better side. I will go for DC -2.0 @ 1.8 on this one (b365).

  2. Re: CONCACAF Champions League 2014/2015 Sorry I'm a bit late but Montreal is playing thei biggest line up and their focus is exclusively on the Champions League given their poor MLS record. Recently they have been doing better, being able to find the back of the net regurlarly, specially since the signing of Piatti. The same cannot be said from New York who are pushing for the playoffs in the MLS and in the middle of a very heavy calendar. I expect NY to try to get away from MTL with a draw and not push to hard. I really fancy MTL in this one given the line ups, the extra motivation from MTL and the home factor. Good luck

  3. Re: CONCACAF Champions League 2014/2015 Just read from the press that MTL players a highly motivated and want a win tonight to erase bad memories. The coach and Hassoun Camara are suspended for this match. The heat could also be a factor for MTL so I would expect they'll try to get one early.... But this is MTL and evertyhing can happen with them... Good luck

  4. Re: CONCACAF Champions League 2014/2015 Montreal has been struggling for a while now and it is pretty hard to know how they will perform every game. i watched part of the game at home vs FAS and they were not impressive to me at all. i would have expected a complete domination which was not the case... I dont have a clue how they will react tonight but they surely have a better team than FAS. I would expect MTL to concede in this match given their poor record away from home but if they play like a unit, they should have the edge imo.

  5. Re: Group E - Honduras v Switzerland > Wednesday June 25th As of now, Switzerland needs a win to go through to the next round. Therefore, they have to win... If the Ecuadorians were to beat France, it would go to the differential so the swiss, to play it safe, have to score goals to erase that poor diffenretial they have due to the game against the French. That being said, since the swiss play the worst team in their group, I think they'll win and I will go for the following bets: Switzerland to win at 1,47 on matchbook Switzerland -1,0 at 1,72 on matchbook

  6. Re: NHL 13/14 Montreal - Boston pick: Boston odds: 1.53 bookie: Betfair Tonight Montreal are visiting Boston. Big rivalry between the 2 clubs. Recently, Boston has been on fire scoring 6 goals in their last 3 games. On the other hand, Montreal has been on a slump giving a lot of goals and it could have been a lot worse if it had not been from their starting goalkeeper Carey Price. Last Tuesday, Montreal got out of the slump with a shutout from Price against an average team that had played 5 games in 7 days. Price was very good in that game also. Tonight, the starting goalie for MTL will be the backup. With the defensive problems MTL has had recently and the fact that Boston is on fire and playing at home, I cannot see a win from Montreal tonight. My pick is Boston in that game at 8/10, might also try Boston -1.5 at 2.54 (3/10).

  7. Toronto vs Montreal This is the last game of the season. Toronto are out and Montreal can qualify with a win. If the draw or lose, then they must cross their fingers hoping the other games turn out the right way for them to get through, which is not what they want... They will try to go out for the win. Toronto has not been in great form all year long. They are 1W-1D-4L in their last 6 matchs and tend to give up goals easily. Montreal had a great beginning of season but as of lately, they've had a lot of problems to collect points. They have the same record as Toronto in their last 6 games and they also ten to give up goals way to easily. Last week, Montreal had to win to keep their playoffs hopes alive. They were losing 1-0 after the 1st half and in the second half, they were all offense to get the win. Their main striker, Di Vaio, had tons of chances and they managed to get the win 2-1. I expect Montreal to be all offense against Toronto to try to get the win and get into the playoffs. However, this could expose them in the back and tend to give up a goal. This is the 5th meeting between those teams. Previous results were: TOR 3 MTL 3 MTL 6 TOR 0 TOR 2 MTL 0 MTL 2 TOR 1 I think that MTL will win this game to get into the playoffs because of all the pressure they get from the fans and the media. However, I think they might give up a goal so imo, I would expect the following: MTL to win Both teams to score Over 2.5
