Re: Saturday's Bankers??
5/1 winner! Nice!:clap3.10 Scarlet Runner Ascot:hope -
Re: Back on Track? I much prefer place betting on longer odds horses than backing short priced ones to win.

Re: York 29/07
Got 7.4 at betfair late on. More money for my Ponty trip too!:DBacked it at 2.40 and got 7-1 :cow Won well. More money for Ponty tomorrow. -
Re: York 29/07
Now, why do I love this place so much?:loonWyatt Earp 3.15 York 5pts WIN Won well here last time beating Beaver Patrol and was suited by the track. Hanagan has opted against it and gone for Knot In Wodd. Might have chosen the wrong horse. Fahey is very cagey about which of his horses is best in this race. Knot In Wood drifting and Wyatt Earp backed in. Get on now at around 6-1. -
Re: Danny Boy and his Feline Friends No. 6 To The Max won the 2.00 Ascot @ 15/2 :clap

Re: Slapdash systems 2006 Ah, now I see! Thanks for clearing that up.

Re: Slapdash systems 2006 I got on Turkish Sultan as it was part of the E/W doubles thread. I didn't see a tip for Rigat though. Thanks for Turkish Sultan though.:ok

Re: 2YR OLDS 2nd Fav Firm Going System. Is it definitley firm? Officially good to firm.:unsure
-
Re: Danny Boy and his Feline Friends I knew which horse you meant, mate. Only a fool wouldn't have worked it out and i thought it would seem pedantic if I was to point out your typo. Cheers for the tip (again!!), all winners are gratefully received here!:notworthy

Re: 2YR OLDS 2nd Fav Firm Going System. If I spot them early enough I'll point out the races.

Re: Whipser Missed the break from the off and then proceeded to run down the stands side all on its own, whilst all the other 13 runners stayed far side. Never in contention, then veered all the way across the track with 2f to go and managed to beat just 2 other horses: finishing 12th. On the plus side, he made up some l;ost grouind and he ran furher than the others by rveering across, so might go better next time: I wouldn't hold my breath though!;)

Re: 2YR OLDS 2nd Fav Firm Going System. No, I fully understand that there'll be winners and losers, mate. A 30% s/r is good enough for me for something that's quite easy to follow. I wasn't complaining about today's result: I was posting it up for anybody else who might have been interested. As for chasing losses: you'd be a fool to, really. I follow systems and stick to the advised sataking plan, if no stakes are advised, i use level stakes regardless of any winning/losing streak.

Re: 2YR OLDS 2nd Fav Firm Going System. Looking back, only the 2.20 qualified. The 2.55 was a novice stakes and the 4.00 and 4.35 are for 3 yr olds. The 2nd fav in the 2.20: Dancing daisy was 5th.

Re: 2YR OLDS 2nd Fav Firm Going System. Just to check: Am I right in thinking that there are 4 qualifying races at Bath today? the 2.20, 2.55, 4.00 and the 4.35?

Re: Needs A Mention I knew nothing about horse racing before I came on here about a 6 months ago, but I have a logical mathemathic mind, which does help when trying to fathom out some of the systems available. Some would say I still know nothing, but I'm managing to make a few quid by following some of the excellent threads on here, so thanks everyone.:clap I'm off to read up on the 2nd favs system now!:D

Re: Needs A Mention

Re: Slapdash systems 2006
Came in 3rd!:clap4.30 Lingfield Zilcash (11/1 UKBetting) 10 points EW. Each way system. There's an odds on favourite, and we're getting 3.20 for the place, compared to a lay price of 2.68 on Betfair, with the Betfair win price also 11/1. -
Re: E/W Betting Help Needed I can't help you, but I've got to tell you that it's a great question. It has certainly got me scratching my head! There were two dead heats for 2nd place within 20 minutes today: surely some record?

Re: Wednesday bankers
I didn't see the race and was very pleased to have backed the winner. Now I feel a bit of a c**t for my exuberance.:$Onwards to glory put down. Very sad. I feel sorry for all connections involved. -
Re: Wednesday bankers
Also tipped by Alex hammond on SKY.7.05 Sandown - Scrummage -
Re: Lay the most heavily tipped horses 2 successful lays in the 2.00 Yarmouth to start the day off!:ok

Re: Slapdash systems 2006
Very unlucky last night with fractured Foxy: only missed a place by a neck and was only 1/2 length behind the well-fancied granny Peel. Foxy was backed all the way into 3/1 as well, so the value with the early bet was there and provided a laying-off opportunity for those wishing to take an easy profit. All in all, a good shout, despite it being unplaced.Good day everyone. Didn't have much time earlier and not many races fit the system anyway. The only I am happy about is Fractured Foxy - Beverly 6.30 @9 (Paddy Power). We get 2.6 for the place while Betfair is 8.8/2.22. Enjoy -
Re: Daily donkeys. I like the look of Rouge et Noir, myself. Got to be worth a punt at 5/1?;)
