  1. Re: Rugby League: Super League - Round 5 I think that Saints -12 against the Giants looks good to me. The Giants managed to just beat Wakey, crossing the line 3 times (with the help of a sin binning on one) I think they may have more trouble breaching the Saints defence. I realise that they put more points past the Wolves then Saints did but I feel the wolves were much more prepared and up for it against Saints. Sculthorpe will be back, though Pryce is to have a fitness test on a minor knee strain. TBH I would rather see Jason Hooper at stand off as I don't rate Pryce in that position at all (was out of his league against Briers in his last match), would much rather he was in the threequaters. Prediction Saints by 18-22 Maybe this week :hope :)

  2. Re: Rugby League: Super League - Round 4 Think Cas with +32 looks like it could be a good thing, as has been said Leeds have yet to really get going, but we never seem to play well against Cas and with Danny Sculthorpe playing like an extra 1/2 back and Gray Viane continuing his scoring from last season i can see Cas scoring a couple of tries. Over 50 points? could well be.

  3. Re: Rugby League: Super League - Round 3 Bradford are way overpriced @11/8 at salford, the only team that looks value on "highest scoring team" is Hull @ 8/1 against a Wolves team that have conceded 44 (including 24 from "traditional strugglers Salford") and look to be very under par in defence. Hull scoring at 41 per game, granted though at Wakey & Cas could put a good score up having used the first 2 games to hit some match sharpness. Quinns have scored 34 against 2 of the supposed big boys so could put up few against Wakey, but i think Wakey will be well up for this game and the +8 they have won't be far off. (16/1 hcp tie)

  4. Re: Rugby League: Super League - Round 3 Salford +16 has to be looked at after a cleansheet against utc who scored 38 against wigan. Karl Harrison said they should have had 3 or 4 more tries , so that shows they are getting things on the pitch organised with Dunnemann playing now. Bradford have only scored 38 in 2 matches vs Wakey + Quins who maybe don't have the toughest defences going. And they have shipped 32 against teams that may well struggle this year. So imo with salford only conceding 6 points in 2 matches, (one try against Wolves who i thought would be scoring a lot of points this year) and having the attacking ability to score against the Bulls i think +16 is the one for me this week. ps please be gentle with my 1st proper post. :)
