Re: Rugby League: Super League XIII - Round 2 Draw handicap betting has changed so much now though punto, with bookies often giving 3 or 4 handicap lines to choose from,

Re: Rugby League: Super League XIII - Round 2 Just my luck, King goes off with an injury and Gleeson who i tipped to score last week goes and scores.

Whenever i try to reply to a thread, i can't use the icons at the top of the posting box, ie the bold or underline options, also can't make paragraphs, no matter how many times i hit return it always joins the text to previous sentence. Any help much appreciated. Also can't use the smilies.

Re: Rugby League: Super League XIII - Round 2 Was thinking along the same line as Kev regarding injuries and it being quite a close game, but couldn't bring myself to back the handicap as i want to see Warington again before i back them, i feel saints will want to get there season back on track with a solid performance, they may have lost some of their pack but that will mean more work for the backs which are a match for any team. The only bet for me is Matt King to score anytime 6/4 @ skybet, he looked really good vs Hull and i feel he's going to be well into double figures come the end of the season.

Re: Rugby League: Super League XIII - Round 1 Only bet i'm having tonight is Peter Lupton to score anytime 7/2 @ Hills. He's a versatile player playing in the back row (can play half back too), a good ball player and has scored a couple in pre season. I think that Catalans are going to struggle in the backs and an attack minded player like Lupton can exploit that playing out wide.

Re: Rugby League: Super League XIII - Round 1
Aye was a bad one, Bridge's slip in the first half didn't help either, Briers didn't bring his kicking boots with him, 3/7 i think, though not too sure.Bloody forward pass cost me as hull went over with 2 mins to go to bring them within 12 points :( -
Re: Rugby League: Super League XIII - Round 1 It's already been said that Hull are missing many key players including Richard Horne, Gareth Raynor, Kirk Yeaman, Lee Radford, Richard Whiting and Matt Sing. This is more than enough reason to back the Wolves -12 10/11 @ Hills. I'm expecting a more consistent season from them this year and i'm hoping Martin Gleeson can be more of a selfish player and get back to scoring tries instead of feeding the departed Henry Fa'afili, so i'm backing him to score anytime 11/10 @ Skybet. Martin Gleeson anytime scorer 7/4 @ Hills :eek

Re: Super League 02/02
How wrong can one man be :$ Will have to do better next week :okHaving seen the team news that Rhino's are at full strength and Hull kr may well be playing with a few returning from injury and with Cooke out, it tempts me to back Rhino's -12 with Ladbrokes. I can't see how Rhino's aren't going to score 4+ tries in this match, going to back Webb for the 1st try 11/1 with Skybet and also back him to score anytime 10/11 with Ladbrokes. The snow has virtually all gone now but the pitch no doubt will be well looked after and may not get too soft. -

This is the only super league game this week, all other clubs start their season 9/10th Feb.Was going to post this when all the handicaps were out mate -
Leeds Rhino's v Hull KR Have posted this as it seems Rugbylad isn't around anymore and it was his hard work that made the super league threads so popular over the last few seasons. Any views on the opening fixture of super league XIII?

Re: UEFA Cup Matches (Nov 8) Had a go on Cahill anytime scorer for Everton @ 3/1 with Hills. He's scored 2 in his last 4 games since his injury and looks like regaining his form quickly.

Re: Uefa Cup Thur 25th October
4. ANYTIME SCORER a) Bets predicting players to score at any time in their match. b) Players must start the match for bets to be valid. Stakes will be refunded on any non- starters, whether or not they score. Never knew this rule :DAlso taking Robbie Keane to score anytime 13/8 @ Skybet -

Re: Champions League 23rd/24th October
Fancy A Shevchenko to score anytime tonight 2/1 @ Will Hills, he may not have performed as well in a Chelsea shirt as compared to his Ac Milan days but the man is a champion league scoring legend. He's scored 47 goals so far in his 90 CL games and i fully expect him to bag one tonight.Comes on 88th min :@
William Hills voided the bet and refunded my stake :loonyup and betfair will consider that as a valid bet ..:loon -
Re: Uefa Cup Thur 25th October
Nice one, Was looking at this market myself and he looks cracking value to score. Also taking Robbie Keane to score anytime 13/8 @ Skybet, odds not as tempting as Lescott but the man is good scoring form, scored 7 in his last 7 games.Everton v Larissa Lescott has to be taken on the score anytime market! He is currently top scorer for the team this season and has scored 3 in the premiership and 2 already in Europe. He is a player that likes to get forward on set plays and is very dangerous in the air! Lescott any time goalscorer @7.50 Paddypower is great odds and I would rather back these odds than any outright or handicap odds for an Everton win! Also Everton could still have a draw and Lescott get on the scoresheet! :ok -
Re: Champions League 23rd/24th October
A fair point, placed the bet an hour b4 kick off due to having things to do elsewhere. Couldn't find the starting line up by that time, that's why it's called gambling. My Rooney (last night) and Keane (mon night) anytime scorer bets leave me well in profit, was just annoying that he didn't stay on the bench or come on a lot earlier.Checking the starting lineups would have solved the problem. Surely you wouldn't back a player to score that you know wouldn't play much of the match (bar injury). -

Re: Rugby League: Super League XIII - Round 2 Going to take Hull KR +2 10/11 @ Skybet tonight, there previous 2 games have been against Leeds and Saints and they have aquitted themselves very well and no doubt have surprised a few people, Catalan have Moog and Pelo back, but have Croker missing which i think will affect them in their pack. Hull KR have lost Walker which is a big blow and also lost Murrell but i still think they'll have too much for Catalans.
