Stuart Williams unusually runs 2 in this and they both deserve to be favourites. Oakley Girls is clearly progressive on this surface winning over the extended mile at Wolves last time out in eye catching fashion pulling 6 lengths clear of a fairly modest bunch for the grade, 6lb penalty here today but 3lb well in and should go well.
Pactolus was dropped in deep last time out over this CD in a much stronger looking race, he raced 8lb out of the handicap but finished within 2lengths of an impressive winner, had previously been in good form winning over CD. Back on his official rating today and 4lb well in could go well.

    1pt win Pactolus 5/2 coral

Gordon Lord Byron runs at Kempton in a listed stakes race with only 8 runners looks a solid e/w bet to me  @ 8/1

Not sure i,m putting this in the proper place but a mod can move or delete if needed.
I like to follow Irish trained runners when they run outside Ireland especially on the flat and all weather it can prove profitable especially if you get on early as they tend to be backed a lot of the time here is a site for  that shows where, when and how they run for anyone who is interested.

Cheekpieces have helped X RAISE come back to form here on her last two starts and she should make another bold bid. She just had the edge over the reliable Cahar Fad in a similar contest on the first of them and can confirm her superiority. Longstanding maiden Lions Charge ran well when second here last week and has claims if reproducing that effort, while this test will suit Zarliman better than that he has faced over hurdles of late.

Mr Benn, Like you I tend to work on selective well fancied horses (95% favourites). These systems generally get you close, but suffer from a lot of seconditis. Here's something I look at to determine how "bad" the value is. Compare the price's overround contribution (2/1 = 33%) to the chances of victory shown on the home page of the RP website (bottom right) for every race. Backing favs, you can expect the price contribution to be 10% below fair chance - (but we are selective, so hope to beat that!). Sometimes though it's much worse and should be avoided. Have you considered a system based on unnamed "second favs" where the race stats are not good for the fav. Longer losing runs, but much better prices. You could either use unnamed 2nd favs or select the likely 2nd fav in the morning to get BOG. My bookmaker late father told me the smart second fav backer was tough to beat.
