One i used to do was pick 2 or 3 games 0.5+ get better odds for a treble... good luck either way.

It seems crazy to think that a whole year has gone since our beloved admin BillyHills aka Graham Sarson tragically passed away. Graham is still remembered very fondly here. Even now we still hear positive things about him either through personal memories members have shared or members expressing the influence he had on their own lives or this forum itself.
On a personal note, I know that Punters Lounge isn't the same without Graham but I think he'd be proud of the legacy he has left. 12 months may have passed but Graham still remains in our hearts and the influence he had on the place you see now is still very much clear. We thought it was only appropriate that we posted some words up one year on so that people can take time to remember Graham and so that his wife Suzy and his family know that we are all still thinking of them during this difficult time.
BillyHills may no longer be with us but he is still very much in our memories and in our thoughts. ❤️

What a lovely post to see. Graham would be proud to know he is remembered. He loved Punters Lounge passionately, and would want everything to carry on and move forward. There is no better legacy than leaving behind work that is built on and taken forward by others for the future. Thank you all for your support and kindness, it is invaluable.

That’s got my head whirling! Luck definitely exists in my opinion, and may play a part in the outcome of an individual bet (as in bad bets can win and good bets can lose) but, in the long run, you get what you deserve. Most punters fail to appreciate how much the outcome of a sporting event is determined by luck rather than the skill of the participants (hence the fallacy of “buying money”).
I don’t know if literally everything is quantifiable but I agree that most things are, though most punters only scratch the surface of actually doing so. I think one of the most productive things you could do is quantify how much the result of any given event is determined by the skill of the participants and how much by luck. So I think you have to believe in luck if only to quantify it! 
I definitely think that most punters tend to attribute winning bets to their skill and judgement and losing ones to bad luck.

Well done to Barry, winner of the PLO leg and another good result for Kev keeps him at the top of the league with a bit of a gap, but still catchable.  Very close at the moment for the other podium spots so quite an open race for the added value.

Many thanks to Ian for his regular screenshots, and to Helen for the table updates, to Punters Lounge for their continued financial support, but most of all to Kevin for keeping Paul off top spot yesterday as (by my calculations) we would have had a tie for 1st if he had won and I don’t know what happens in the event of a tie.
Good fun, as always, with none of the vitriol found in other online poker games.  I don’t understand why more of us don’t try it.

Another win for Kevsul gives him a decent lead at the top of the table with Rob Valk and McG lining up in position behind.  It'll need a good finish from someone in the top half of the table to knock them off the podium.

Well done Rob, pretty much cleaned up on the bounties as well as the top position   It pulls you up to second in the league, with Kev holding on to the top spot with a 3rd place tonight. ASE5 moving up with a second place spot and managing to get a bounty.
Next week's game is the PLO leg with 5000 chips. Set up and registering.

Final table is up and it's success for some PL legends this month!  A final leg win for muttley lifts him up to the top of the league   as this month's champion.  2nd place this week for pistonbroke but just falls short of making the league podium.  Andybell stays on the podium in 2nd overall and a 3rd consecutive weekly 3rd place brings Ian up into (yes, you've guessed it!) 3rd place  
All 3 on the podium had a relatively poor first leg so it just goes to show that it's worth hanging in there for the month.    For those wondering about the final leg multiplier, this month it hasn't affected the result of the top 3.
