Re: Newcastle United V Arsenal > Sunday 19th May Newcastle have been vulnerable on the flanks, which is where Arsenal have been strong. With Arsenal in good form, and Newcastle in bad form, with Sissoko out, and Harper playing, I will be backing Arsenal -1 AH on betfair @1.99. This bet would have been break even @1.7 this season, so the above odds is a good one, especially with motivational issues and team news factored in.

Re: Arsenal v Wigan Athletic > Tue 14th May U2.5 @ 2.84 on betfair is not a bad price with Giroud out. Podolski had been awful up front in previous two matches. Both sides like to play the ball on the surface. The weather foecast said it might rain heavily, that would slow down the tempo of the match considerably. I will be backing U1.5 1st half goals @1.78 on betfair. Wigan tend to play quiet first halfs and go mental in second halfs. Only 16% of their away games had at least 2 goals in their first halfs. The same figure is 44% for Arsenal.

Re: Serie B > 10th - 13th May Varese have won only 35% of the 1st half of their home matches. Crotone have lost the 1st half only 35% of their away matches. Varese score 36% of their goals in the 1st half. Crotone score 66% of thei goals in the 1st half. People expect Varese to wash away Crotone, but laying the home team @2.04 in the 1st half on betfair is profitable.

Re: Norway > Tippeligaen > 2013 Aalesunds-Lillestrom O2.5 goes for 1,75 on betfair at he moment, although it should be around 1,6 based on stats. I expect it to go lower, so I'll jump on, and even if I can't make a pre-game profit, backing O2.5 in this game is a decent bet.

Lorient have nothing to play for, and they have key players out like Audard, Aliadiére, Lautoa, Alain Traoré. Lorient keep a clean sheet at home around 30% of the time. With the first choice keeper out, 22 yo. Lecomte will start. He conceded 5 in 2 games. Lorient have won the prev 2 H2H meetings, but Saint Étienne dominated one fixture (both posession and shots on goal), and rotated the side in the other fixture.
