Thanks mate. Not kept exact figures but generally more positive than negative. @Wiltshire Shot has also been dishing out some decent predictions too. I think it's just the fact that not many people take too keen an interest in the Welsh leagues so the bookies play it more down the middle than with other leagues.

I would go as far to say your Welsh Prem success rate is over 80% so far and on games with odds over evens as well!

  2. Hi Steve,

Just thinking out loud, what about it being added to a thread in a shuffle around. I would understand the concern that a domestic welsh football betting thread may not attract enough activity. I note the League of Ireland thread has not been very active:

    https://forum.punterslounge.com/forum/204-league-of-ireland-predictions/

Just an idea, what about combining a Welsh, N.Irish, and Irish football betting thread into one?

    https://forum.punterslounge.com/forum/239-league-1-2-scottish-predictions/

Just as a small aside the league 1-2, Scottish predictions thread, says Scottish predictions but in the description its says "All the best bets from English League 1 & 2 and Scottish Premiership and Scottish Football League are right here" I would add the bit I have added in red as I have noticed a more than a few posts over time about the Championship, 1 & 2 in Scotland as well but reading the description you would not know that.

    Just a couple of ideas.

    Cheers,

    CW

Right I am onto it and hopefully will get it sorted so they pay out. I had asked for hem rock void it but it didn’t happen and less than an hour before kick off it was still left open so I had other cover bets to cover myself on the basis that bet was still on. I am fuming to see it has been voided so if my first plan of attack doesn’t work then I will take it further.

How did you get on Darran/Seedy? I had it as part of a large accumulator with Betway and it was the last game to come in but propping up the return as it was the biggest odds selection amongst short-priced favourites.  I tried to get that part of the bet selection voided before kick off on the basis that the circumstances of the match (ie Workington struggling to get a team out etc..) had changed so much from the previous night. I was quite abruptly told they would not void the match as it fitted in with the 24-hour rule and I asked them for some grace because but no flexibility.

Then having checked the score from the pub later I pleasantly surprised that Workington had won! I was glad at the stroke of luck and when I checked this morning I saw that the match had been voided. What annoyed me at that point was what I saw as double standards of not voiding it when asked to but then voiding it when it did not suit them.

The catch came when I contact them today and they got off on a technicality! If the match had kicked off at 7:45 PM it would have counted but because it kicked off at 8:00 pm which is true it overlapped the timing by 15 minutes!

They are within their rights but how annoying! Unlucky to have the match called off Tuesday and then Workington where more up against it on Wednesday, then lucky that Workington actually won and then lastly unlucky again about the kick off time letting Betway off the hook!

  6. I was tempted by Corby but Stefan Moore is supposed to be out injured according to Gary Mills the manager and although I'm not saying it is not still a good bet but Moore is so important to them and is proven at that level and the level above, the netting of two good goals against Spennymoor at home in a match I gave Corby little to no chance in showed that. I was going to bet on this and Corby are still good odds but the absence of Moore in an away game when Ilkeston have only been losing by one goal in the last three games they have played means no bet for me.

  7. Does anyone know of any bookmakers online or in shop that offer odds on Step 4 Div 1 Non League games even if only by request?, I remember Bwin and Betway doing it for a while. Clubs at this level include Northwich Victoria, Stafford Rangers, Rushden and Diamonds, Evesham Utd, Hornchurch and Folkestone.

  8. My top 5 picks below this weekend are below. Like Addpea I had picked Corby and Tranmere out a couple of days back as looking promising. I will attach some caution to these picks though as it is early in the season and the form is still hard to read as well as all the games except Corby being away games. Also I apologise if some of the odds have changed now as I wrote this on Friday morning to send to a couple of friends and meant to post it yesterday. Weston Super Mare vs Hemel Hempsted: Hemel Hempsted win Hemel Hempsted away to a depleted Weston Super Mare who are apparently without their experienced central defender Tom Jordan. Weston have have shipped 8 goals in their last two games including 4 at home to Gosport on Tuesday. The Tudors have recruited well this summer and should be top 10 in the league this year, they have won their opening two games and although this in an away match I think 1/1 with Bet 365 is a solid bet. Corby Town My next one is Corby Town who are 21/20 with Bet Victor to beat Chorley this weekend at home. Corby have recruited well and should be top 10 this year. They have started well scoring 5 goals in two games including a 3-1 win over a solid Gloucester side on Tuesday. The loan signing from MK Dons of Kabongo Tshimanga who is highly rated and scored something like 45 goals in 25 games at youth level. He apparently was excellent against Gloucester and scored. Chorley who did so well last season have lost the first two games conceding 7 goals including a 4-0 defeat against North Ferriby on Tuesday. Todays signing of Andrew Bond for them who goes straight into the team for tomorrows game concerns me slightly who is an experienced and solid league player and should give them some steel but I fancy this to go with the form and Corby win. St.Albans vs Ebbsfleet: Ebbsfleet to win Ebbsfleet are a well drilled side full of ex league players and have a good balance now with the lazier players booted out. I can't see anyone else winning the league this season. Ebbsfleet won 2-0 away to Maidstone on Tuesday which is a great result on the 3G pitch and the strikeforce of Cunnington and Kedwell are a league pairing. Not a great deal wrong with St. Albans and the match is away but I think 10/11 is fair and Ebbsfleet should have too much. Braintree vs Tranmere: Tranmere to win This is a bit risky but I went with it a 21/20, Tranmere have started well and beating Gateshead away 4-1 was no mean feat on Tuesday. Braintree will do well to stay in the division. The young manager they have recruited (Danny Cowley) from Concord Rangers is highly rated and I don't think this game will be a pushover but I fancy Tranmere have a few more goals in the side and should grind out a win. The only limiting factor again comes in the fact that it is an away game. Staines vs Leatherhead: Leatherhead to win This is really a bit of a fun bet and I am betting against Staines rather than for Leatherhead who are have won the first two games of the season 3-0 home and away and finished a respectable 10th last season. Staines have Nicky Forster who I don't really rate as a manager and he has made a host of signings who still have to gel. They lost 1-0 at home to an average Bognor Regis side on Tuesday and it looks like two very important players in Darren Purse and Tommy Brewer will be missing for this fixture. This is a punt but I could not ignore the odds at 2-1 for Leatherhead. My other smallers odds picks are: Grimsby 1/2 (Should have too much in a long away trip for Bromley) Flyde 4/9 (Signed Jason St Juste and at home against Gainsborough cant ignore) Chippenham 4/7 (Have made some good signings and playing a poor Bedworth side at home) Woking 17/20 (Look good value against a poor Altrincham side who are visitors, Woking's lack of a striker is a problem but they are an imposing side with a goalscoring midfield and beat a good Bromley side on Tuesday)

  9. Dover 3 Kidderminster 2 - Bet won Dover blew a 2 goal half time lead but got the winner in the 83rd minute. Bit dissapointed Ricky Miller got taken off midway through the 2nd half after scoring a goal and then being a constant threat. If he had got the double at 18/1 that would of been very good odds. You won't see 18/1 again this season.on him scoring two or more at home against teams like Kidderminster. Good tip on Dulwich Addpea. I did a £25 double with Dover.

  10. Dover vs Kidderminster I fancy Dover to win this match and have gone with them at 11/10 with Coral. Dover have made some good signings most notably striker Ricky Miller who has had a great pre season and is working his socks off to prove a point after a release from Luton due to a personal court case he has coming up in October and he is trying to repay the faith his new employers have in him (He was also on loan for a couple of months last season at Dover and turned an ailing season around) . Miller netted on Saturday (but the goal was sadly disallowed) against a compact and well funded Barrow side in Dovers 2-1 defeat after a long Journey north for Dover who bossed the game and should of had it sewed up by half time, I fancy him score tonight. Miller is part of a potent forward trio along with Stefan Payne and Tom Murphy who offer pace, skill and a direct attack on goal and they will cause no end of problems for alot of teams this season. Dover overcame their long term appalling home record last season and arguably where the divisions form team in the last two thirds of the season going 21 games unbeaten after an initial 1 win in the first 11 games and while they are unlikely to hit those heights this year Chris Kinnear sets up his teams well. The loss of central defender Connor Essam to Leyton Orient is a blow and the midfield is a little lightweight as Kinnear is effectively plays a 5-2-3 but Im hoping at home that will not be exposed as much. Kidderminster who have a long midweek journey down today to Dover came back twice at home to draw 2-2 with Grimsby on Saturday which was a credible result but the money issues at the club are well documented and while they still have experience in the side they have had to look lower down the leagues for some recruits and a hard season to consolidate may lie ahead. Kelvin Langmead who is an imposing central defender with plenty of experience is missing for them tonight and that may be exploited by Dovers pacey attack who a part of a side with something to prove after two defensive mistakes on Saturday. I think if this game was being played in three months time these odds for the Dover win could be alot lower than they are now so I am snapping them up on the basis that I think Dover should have too much in an attacking sense tonight at home. Its not a surefire bet as nothing ever is in football but I cannot ignore the odds on offer. Bets: Dover to win 11/10 A smaller stake on Ricky Miller 1st goalscorer at 7/1 and Ricky Miller two goals or more at 18/1

  11. Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round 24th-26th October I think Maidstone are going to give Welling a very good run for their money at home on Saturday, Maidstone are a bit short at 17/10 though! Im going to see the team news before I commit. So a watching brief on this game at the moment. I think Leek can also beat Blyth Spartans and the double pays about 7/1 at the moment with Betvictor but Im not going to put anymore than £5 on that.

  12. Re: Vanarama Conference 6th September This is an on the hop preview so sorry if it is not structured and the grammar is appalling and its written like a hyperactive 5 year old but I wanted to get a detailed preview submitted in a rush! Dover I think are a slightly better side than Telford and have a better squad. Ignoring the match against Woking which was simply a bad day at the office, (I watched the match and Dover had the ball in the net 3 times (2 disallowed goals) and two penalties turned down). Woking are a good side and where due to give a team a thrashing at home. Dover have played better teams than Telford and set up well away from home. Dovers defence has been the issue + muscle in midfield but with the signings of Tom Bonner from Cambridge and Connor Essam from Crawley they have strengthened considerably as well as adding Solomon Taiwo from Luton on loan for a to toughen up a skilful but weak midfield physically. Dover have also signed Ricky Miller from Luton on loan who was last seasons Conference North top goal scorer with 28 goals for Boston and Luton have high hopes for him but he may not start as he has had an injury. I have seen (Stefan Payne who scored 38 goals for Hornchurch last season) twice this season and he looks sharp and hungry for goals. Nathan Elder had the ball in the back of the net twice (Both disallowed against Woking) once against Eastleigh and had chances to score against Kidderminster in the last game Dover played at home, he is due some more goals. Dover now have a better defence and strengthened midfield and will see this trip to Telford as a chance for three points. This season, Dover have lost 1-0 at home to a good side in Halifax, lost 3-0 away at Braintree, drew 1-1 away at a strong Grimsby side, beat a strong Eastleigh side (Dover having 10 men most of the match) 2-1. Lost 6-1 away at Woking but showed attacking intent but shoddy defending (Hence the 2 new league defender signings) and 0-1 at home to Kidderminster. After Kidderminster Taiwo, Essam and Miller signed on. Tom Bonner played in the Kidderminster game and was a great addition. Telford at home conceded have 3 goals to Southport (3-3) 2 goals to Aldershot (0-2) and three goals to Macclesfield (2-3) while losing away to Bristol Rovers (1-0) and Dartford last week (2-1) Dover have Sean Raggett suspended in defence who may not have started the match anyway with the new signings who will play. Ricky Modeste is a big miss for them and his absence will be felt. Telford have Godfrey Poku suspended who I feel is a big miss for them and Mike Grogan and Charlie Barnett injured but they have signed Josh O'Keefe from Kidderminster on loan. Phenix is the dangerman for Telford. Im sure Telford will see this as a winnable game but with Dovers now stronger defence and Telfords leaky defence I hope that Dover set themselves up in a game for wily old fox Chris Kinnear to take the three points back to the Kent coast. I think the odds on Dover are too long for this one and the new signings can improve the side enough to win this match. It may be tight but Dover can edge it. To me Dover at 23/10 for the win and 8/11 Double Chance with Bet 365 are worth a dabble, just don't put them in your main accumulators, im not taking the blame!
