Re: If you're playing now... All on this thread please. I couldn't get in the freeroll you mention Jezza as I only joined Bet365 tonight. I now have accounts at Bet65, Laddies and PokerParadise. My nick is GETT1N on all three accounts. I'm in Palm Cay on PokerParadise at the moment (cash Holdem) trying to get used to the software. :ok

Re: Next PL Poker Tournament? Hi Billy. Firstly "congratulations" on all your hard work making the tourney a success. :clap :clap I am flexible too and do not mind which night we play. I would like to see more players or increased stakes next time although I take your point on attracting new players and not wanting to put them off. Why not post up 2 tourneys to start in the next 10 days? One high stakes and one low stakes? Say $25 and a $10 game? (I'll play in both). I am used to Laddies software so I didn't like the interface on Paradise as much although I didn't think it was bad either. I didn't have any problems connecting at all. I thought the private game option was absolutely excellent and as far as I know you can't do this on Laddies or Bet365 as easily? Anyway - mark me down for the next game whenever it is. :ok

Re: If you're playing now... All on this thread please. I ended up 123rd out of 5,850 It was free to enter and I won $10 (which paid my entry into the PL Tourney). Two and a half hours for $10. :lol :lol

Re: pair of cards to play Hole cards = the two cards you have and that no one else can see. Kicker = is the lower of the two cards you have. In other words if you had AK and your opponent had AJ and you made a pair of aces in the middle, you would win because you had the higher kicker (your K beats his J).

This is the sticky where you can post up if you are playing now or about to play and would like any of the PL to join you. I might be in a competition later but currently I am on a cash game in Laddies at the moment. Table - West Ham Stakes - $0.50 / $1.00 PS - I thought this would be a good sticky to stop thousands of "I'm on now - fancy a game?" threads ruining the board.

I don't know what 'abookies' is trying to say to be honest. :unsure You have to make a judgement if a player is weak, strong, tight or loose and play against them accordingly. It's what the game is all about.
