There are some big prices on Ipswich and Villa today, both 4/1, should they really be riced so highly? Newcastle are stumbling towards the finishing line and Fulham seem better away from home. Ummm I'm not sure them two games are both done deals for the favourites.

If Norwich/Fulham doesn't go Over 2.5, I'm going to skydive out of my next flight without a parachute! Should be more like Over 12.5.

    Stevenage 23/20, Plymouth 7/5 and Brentford 13/10 pays 10/1.
Stevange will be looking to consolidate their play off place against Barnet who have only won once in their last 5.
Not sure why Plymouth are priced at 7/5 at home to Accrington who have been decent of late but Plymouth will be looking to keep their automatic promotion push, home win.
Brentford at home to Bristol City, I know Bristol beat us  (Huddersfield) 4-0 out last time but they looked average and we were bloody awful. i think Brentford will have too much for them at home.

Jesus, what happened to your team last night @Kenton Schweppes? Hopefully now your good run will be over and will afford Brighton some breathing space! This of course means that Brighton will now lose to Leeds today, as whenever they have a chance to pull away, they never do.
So the corner count finished 1-1!!!! 1 fckn 1, #€$¥&£Y Hell, what was that all about. Huddersfield were 3-0 down before they got one, it's unbelievable really!
@allyhibs looks like I have paid you back for a Hibs bet I took off you a few weeks ago! (Lost at 1.5 I think)
@Icongene busted your unders too didn't it!

    my bets today are:
Aston Villa to beat Derby at 2.5 - I watched the game against Newcastle and Villa was not that bad, could have got a point out of that game with a bit of luck. Derby is struggling aswell lately so I think this is a good opportunity for Villa to turn tings around.

Preston to beat QPR at 2.15 - QPR has a few injuries in defence, Preston has won 3 out of the 4 latest home league games.

Wigan - Nottingham Under 2,5 goal 1,6 - Pitch is in bad condition so it should be a very likely outcome. A draw might be a good bet aswell

Newcastle and Brentford should win easily at home. But im not gonna risk it for these low odds. This league is to unpredictable for that

A lovely blend of matches to bet on this weekend. It is the EFL Cup Final on Sunday plus the usual schedule for the Championship, League One, League Two, SPL, and Scottish Championship.
@salmonman, you called the Fulham away win. Great job. What are you liking this weekend?
@allyhibs, well that was easier than I expected. Not sure about how you felt afterwards? You should follow it up with a solid win at home to Dunfermline right? What about the other games in the Scottish Championship? Any tips for us all south of the border?
@DW_United, did you go for the Betfair offer? Fancy an accumulator this weekend?
@canaries91, you hinted at a possible Millwall let-down. Did you back them in the end? Got any bets lined up this weekend?
@nenri981, never back Newport this season! Cannot buy a win! They've now lost 6 of their last 8 league games and seem destined for National League football next season. Any basement division bets in the offing this weekend?
@KikoCy, top work on Newcastle. Unfortunate about the BTTS with Huddersfield surprisingly being the pain. @Kenton Schweppes will be equally surprised at them keeping a clean sheet!
@willie82, what did you bet on the Newport game? Hopefully, you backed a draw or equivalent bet?
@Neubs, any fixtures catching your eye this weekend?
@Thales, you also fell foul of Millwall! Are you hoping for any better luck in certain fixtures this weekend?
@Tiffy, tough game with your boys welcoming Reading this weekend. Very low price on you guys at 1.61 to win. Is it worth it? Reading have only one defeat in their last seven league games... but that defeat was their most recent game!
Also keen to hear the views of regular contributors to this forum such as @Tanktop, @Icongene, @skyblues88, @silverfox, @waynecoyne, @sajtion, and @allthethings.

If we all pulled each other every week on our tips we'do be falling out all over the place. Let's just enjoy our punting and if we nail the bookies then all the better. No one is right and no one is wrong. Anyone trying to make a living out of this game is in for rough ride.

@Petersson1984 - Now you ruffled the big man's feathers, this could be a bad scene....
So, here's my thoughts. You don't post any bets, with or without reasoning. Therefore, you sound like a troll - post your bets or just shut the fcuk up.

My two recent bets have hit the bar both being on the wrong side of 1-0 defeats in two close encounters.  Always looking for an angle for value..  anyway onwards and upwards.

my pick this week is Forfar away to Berwick. Clear quality diff in the squads and recent h2h between the two reads 3 played 3 wins for Forfar f6 a1.  Forfar are going all out to secure promotion and I don't see where Berwick are going to shift the pendulum here. In fact you have to go back beyond 2010 to see when Berwick last got a result over Forfar talk about bogey sides.
Anyway evens is far to large for me not to have a dabble.. that will be the kiss of death now haha.
Other games that have caught my eye but are high risk - Alloa away to Queen's Park Queen's Park have not beaten Alloa for quite a few years 13/10 is too large.
Morton at home to Falkirk . Though fixture between two form sides. Morton have brought another loan kid from Celtic, Striker. It gives them another edge upfront as they make a push for the playoffs. They beat Falkirk quite convincingly in the cup last month. I think they will edge a tight game , 15/8 got my interest.
good luck if you decide to tail

Now, now, lads. This is place of reasoned discussion. @sajtion, if your tips are right then you've proved @Petersson1984 wrong. If they're shite, then he's been proved right. Let the tips do the talking, not the cheap chat! Speaking of which, Sajtion makes a great point. Petersson1984, don't just be negative about other people's tips without posting your own to counter. You just look like a troll otherwise and trolls don't do well around these parts.
Also, thanks for the heads up @canaries91. We could do with you posting every week. Very helpful advice. I still think you'll edge it today. Smash that hoodoo!

Right onto today, first off Sheffield Wednesday 13/10 against Forest. Forest have won their last 3 home games but Wednesday will be looking to consolidate their play off place and keep the chasers at arms length.
Next selection the ever reliable Plymouth Argyle evs  away from home at Hartlepool. Pools are gash, 3 points for Plymouth.
Norwich 11/10 at Burton, say no more.
    That treble pays 8/1.

    Guiseley v Sutton
I think it is fairly obvious who I am tipping up here. Again I just don’t understand the prices and how bookies can make Sutton favourites. The reasons for taking them on are obviously the same on Saturday and the fact they lost 3-0 adds to the reasons. Going all the way up to Leeds on a Tuesday evening is probably the last thing they want at the moment and I am sure they just want Monday night to come. Guiseley might be in the relegation zone, but their home has been superb in recent months. Ever since they got their first win of the season when beating York 6-1 they have not been beaten at home in the league, that’s a run of 9 games which features just 3 draws. They only just kept that run going on Saturday as they equalised with the last kick of the game against Eastleigh. They played well again though and they are clearly relying on their home form to keep them up. If you can get on with Skybet then they are biggest at 7/4, but even at lesser odds they still rate fantastic value and I make them a max bet.

    Ilkeston v Coalville
The fact Ilkeston didn’t play on Saturday and Coalville did (a 0-0 draw with Stafford) is a slight concern, but otherwise they look a solid bet at 5/6. I don’t really need to repeat myself about Ilkeston. Coalville might only be 17th in the league, but their away form has been good on the whole. Granted they have lost their last two, but Spennymoor and Stourbridge are two of the best sides in the division. Prior to that they had won 4 on the bounce on their travels and they should be more than capable of getting back to winning ways here. The 5/6 about an away seems a fair.

Not much to go on today, nothing is standing out.
Quick word on my team Huddersfield Town, we are top of the form table in the Championship and we are on cracking form, full of confidence and are priced at 23/20 at QPR. Believe it or not, we have never ever won a league game at Loftus Road and QPR have picked up a little under the odious country bumpkin Holloway, who tipped us for relegation pre-season (lol). i'm hoping we can correct our never winning in that part of West London today and carry on or charge on the top 2. Think we are worth taking at that price today, think we might scrape a one niller.
In the absence in the lack of real value on anyone think I it has to be form favourites this week, so I'm going to take the following,
Reading 17/20 against Barnsley who have sold all their best players.
Mansfield 4/6 they are in form and Hartlepool are no great shakes on the road.
Fulham 3/5 at home to Wigan, I'm struggling to see why Fulham aren't in the play offs, they should take care of Wigan today.
Scunthorpe 4/6 against Shrewsbury who are in decentish form of late but it's hard to see them getting anything at Glandular Fever Park.
Norwich 4/6 at home to Forest, Norwich seem back to form of late.
    Pays a respectable 12/1
Going to have a speculative punt on 3 aways too Exeter 13/8, Blackburn 7/5 and Charlton 9/4 at 19/1.

Having seen Leeds in the flesh last week they are a pretty physical side who rely on set plays a lot and superior fitness. If you can not let their physicality knock you out of your stride you might have a chance of getting something from the game....I won't be backing you though lol.

I listened to it on the radio, and every time you had the ball it sounded like you were going to score. I listened to wagners pre match brief, and he said that he told his players to "ask questions" of Brighton. Well they certainly did that didn't they?
The second 3-1 defeat in a row for us, second game with a red card for us. Hope the wheels aren't falling offf now. Dunk also now suspended for 3 games, and a tough away trip on Sunday.,
Well done to Mr Schweppes on a great performance by your team.

I've taken Wolves to beat Burton at 2.30.
Paul Lambert has turned them into a tough nut to crack since coming in and on the back of their excellent result against Liverpool they went on to record another away win in the league (3-1 v Barnsley). I'd think confidence is reasonable high and given Burtons weekly travails I see a chance for Wolves to put a 3rd straight away win down.

Well we got right totally stuffed last night.
shades of last season creeping in, which is a concern for me.
They have a chance to pull clear, and bottle it. Exactly like last season.
I thought Lewis Dunk had grown up this season, but we are still seeing the silly fouls, needless cards and suspensions from him.
Well done To Huddersfield, very impressed with the way Wagner has got them going since he arrived.
It sounded like they were going to score from every attack!

So here are some midweek games for us to have a look at. The Championship has a full schedule but there are a flutter of fixtures in League One, League Two, EFL Trophy, and the SPL.
@andrewcalo, @allyhibs, and @salmonman, you guys reaped the rewards on the weekend. Are you looking at any games in midweek to try and get some profit?
@Kenton Schweppes, massive game for you boys at home to Brighton. Can you get a win? @tilly, in the away end, do you think you lads can come away with a point?
@Icongene, it's not often I say this but you backed Blackburn and it was a great choice. Do you fancy any bets for these games?
@allthethings and @sajtion, you placed some big bets on the weekend action. What are you backing here? Always love reading what you think.
Also interested to hear from other UK Football regular contributors such as @Tanktop, @johnabpd, @skyblues88, @Neubs, @MuineBheag, @mrclubbie, @Simeon Borisof, and @Bobby Vegas.
