Rather than continue posting about it I would suggest you put up your pick then for Medvedev to win the US Open. Go with your confidence.

Just hope we get 1 set finished. Any thoughts on Dimi vs Federer?
I need to watch some of Dimi's earlier rounds, Fed has been playing ok but against players that suit him (Evans, Goffin), I think a big flat hitter could do some damage. Maybe take a set or two off him.

Guys im really thinking to take a shot on Qiang Wang (vs Serena) at 4.50, what do you think? Serena has not been tested yet (i can't consider Petra a tough test because she has been a mess in all the previous tournaments on hard). Muchova was playing well but she's too young and Sharapova has a mental barrier when she has to face Serena. Surprisingly the player who took a set from her was the most unexpected one: Caty Mcnally. Wang has won all her matches in straight sets and she destroyed Barty (6-2, 6-4) in her previous match here (at. 4.00). Thoughts?
I don't think Wang played that well, she basically just sat back and let Barty implode. Serena won't do that. Although i agree with Czech Serena won't win this title, I can't see her falling against Wang.

I think I'll be go with Stan. Medvedev has looked vulnerable at times and played on the "villain" angle to get him through against opponents he should of beat easily. He hasn't faced anyone as good as Stan yet.
Not sure on what bet i'll take depending on where I can find value but wouldn't be opposing Stanley.

Personally think Federer will take it relatively easily, Evans is playing really well but he's not got explosive power. He'll rally with Federer and once Fed gets the measure of you I think its over. If your unpredictable or just nailing the shots you might have a chance but beating Fed at his own game is much tougher..

Sorry if this has been explained but if everyone in the Consolation is eliminated, or down to just one person does it still continue until the main Comp is completed?

Giorgi to beat Linette at 1.7 with Betfair
Always been a fan of Giorgi's fearless big hitting. If it clicks on the hard courts she runs the opponent all over the place. What impressed me the most in her Semi Finals win was her stamina in the long rallies against a great defensive display from Wang and her mentality to keep fighting back. Not the greatest value in the odds but I'm going for the win rather than value on this one.

Millman to beat Cilic at 3.1 with Betfair
Will be interesting to see where Cilic is at the minute, Millman can give anyone a tough game with his persistence and calculated hitting. Think he has a chance here, especially at these odds.

Going to try this one, always enjoy watching Giorgi
WTA Toronto Camilla Giorgi to beat Victoria Azarenka at 2.55 with Betfair
Few things I like about this;
Giorgi is coming off a finals visit so in good form. Azarenka is coming back into form but her serve is still not there yet. Giorgi is flat hard returner so if the serving is weak she will break, and break often, its whether she can hold her own serve. Giorgi also leads the H2H 2-0.
I think as underdog it's definitely worth a shot.

@CSanders22 It was certainly a really good performance and I was pleasantly surprised to see it, but come on, the Aussie Open is several months away from now. He could go to rehab and back in that time .
You are probably very right, need to calm my enthusiasm for bit, the odds will still be there in a few months time if I still feel the same way.

Am I too gullible if I say I actually believe Kyrgios has turned a corner and will start to become a serious contender for the major tournaments?
His week in Washington set a marker to me and I'm thinking of getting on early for the Aussie open.

Jan-Lennard Struff to beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga at 2.57 with MarathonBet
I'm not fully behind Tsonga again yet, think he's still got a way to go before he's back to his best. He's winning the H2H but I don't think they've faced much before on hard. Short points are likely so its whether Struff is hitting it clean and whose serving better. Maybe should look at taking the short priced handicap instead.

Stan Warinka to beat Dimitrov at 1.58 with Bethard
Will be pulling the trigger on this one, odds seem higher than anywhere else and Dimitrov is just a lay at the minute regardless. Stan can also blow hot and cold and it could come down to just whether he fancies it and whether Dimi can get his serve working

I did read Czech Punter's comments on the mens, but I just have a little feeling that Novak is still not 100% and the years are catching up with Roger.
I could agree with Novak or Roger slipping up at some stage but think Rafa is even more likely.
I'd be looking at Zverev or Tsit.
With something on Khach, Stan, Krygios(crazy I know)
I feel big serving will go far. Will edit this with the bets I actually take.
