    Tote Scoop6
No winner last week as everyone was knocked out after 3 legs.
Win Fund starts at £213,628 and the Bonus Fund stands at £62,371.
Last weeks place fund paid out £82.60 and there was 264 winners.

    This weeks action;

    Selections:
Leg 1: Chancery 12/1 Skybet (Scarlet Dragon)
Just a 19 runner handicap to start the ball rolling and plenty in with a chance. I like Chancery now he has dropped back down the handicap and the O'Meara yard is in better form. The likely favourite will be Scarlet Dragon who followed up a victory at Newbury with a fine 4th at Goodwood last time out. Yard is flying at the moment and looks sure to be involved.
Leg 2: Scottish 4/1 William Hill (Custom Cut)
Group 3 action over 9f and the Godolphin runner Scottish will be hard to beat. He has improved since joining Charlie Appleby and ran well at haydock last time out in similar company. David O'Meara has won this for the last 2 years and he saddles Custom Cut who has yet to show the form he was in last year.
Leg 3: Shraaoh 7/2 Skybet (Regal Monarch)
The Melrose handicap over the Ebor trip of 14f and the Sir Michael Stoute trained Shraaoh is the warm favourite. Ridden by Frankie Vettori he will have a lot of support and will be out to gain compensation for a narrow defeat at Goodwood recently. I prefer Regal Monarch out of the two Mark Johnston runners and Aidan O'Briens pair should also be on the shortlist in a wide open affair.
Leg 4: South Seas 5/2 Bet365 (Total Star)
The Group 3 Solario Stakes at Sandown is our next race over 7f and we have a dozen useful looking colts lining up. The favourite is South Seas trained by Andrew Balding, he has won his two starts at Windsor and Haydock. Eight of these won last time out and have bags of potential including Total Star who looks one for the shortlist.
Leg 5: Oasis Fantasy 7/1 Paddy Power (Revolutionist)
Both Fire Fighting and Oasis Fantasy line up again after their terrific tussle last time out. Ed Dunlops charge is better off at the weights on this occasion and should reverse that form now. The Mark Johnston second string Revolutionist shouldn't be ignored and looks value at a big price while Hugo Palmer's Bandar is chasing a hat-trick and is clearly improving fast.
Leg 6: Top Tug 20/1 BetVictor (Antiquarium)
The Ebor Handicap with 20 runners lining up for the 1m6f trip. A decent renewal led by the Godolphin runner Antiquarium who won the Northumberland Plate last time out at Newcastle. This is a different test but the horse is obviously in good heart and should go close off his revised mark. Alan Kings horses are in good form and he runs Top Tug, he moves up to this trip for the first time and could be dangerous of those towards the bottom off the handicap. He has good course form as well and looks a big price.

Guaranteed to get a fast pace and should once again have Galileo Gold as target practice, the 3yr old Colt has a very low mileage and was a shade unlucky at Goodwood, he hit a little trouble and that could have cost him the Sussex stakes but his day in the sunshine is surely around the next corner, Mr Fahey has said he's come out Goodwood very well and with William Buick in hungry form from his ban he also deserves some Glory at the top end.
2:55 Deauville - Ribchester.  Shop around for the 5/2

Cracking heat for this time of year and a few with decent chasing form that will be popular. Personally i'm going to take a chance on Stephanie Frances to finally com good over the bigger obstacles for the Skelton team. The showed on more than one occasion last year that she is well up to this type of company but unfortunatley fell on both efforts over fences. She was only 3 lengths behind Vaniteux when comimg down at Kempton and that form would be good enough on these terms.

    Alnashama 9/4 Bet365
Tricky looking handicap but Alnashama could have more improvement off this mark as he has won his last two races in photo finishes so the handicapper has only raised him 7lbs in total for the two victories at Salisbury and Newmarket. Won over 7f last time but goes back up to a mile here and should suit him better as he stays well and i always think you need that bit extra to get home here at Leicester. Looks the most solid selection in a competitive heat.

    Goodwood 2.00
As you would expect this is a bloody competitive handicap so there are plenty with live chances. My main bet will be on Seeking Magic (16/1). He ran well here earlier in the year only to be disqualified and he has won at this meeting before (either this race or the main race). There is plenty to like about him.
Projection is the up and coming horse in this race and while on form alone he probably does justify favouritism his trainer has mentioned that he may have been cast in his box and that is probably just enough to put me off backing him in such a big race.
Nuno Tristan is a horse I respect a lot but his improvement has been over 7f and this may be too sharp so in turn I am going to have a small saver on Muir Lodge (33/1) who is dropping back in trip. He strikes me as a horse still in form and a big field handicap looks to be his bag. Whether or not this is it is certainly up for debate but he is worth a nibble at the odds.

    Goodwood 3.10
I dont have a massively strong opinion on this race as Minding should win on ratings however I think there is a disparity in the market between Beautiful Romance and the rest of the field. I would have her in at 2nd favourite and heading the betting in the without market but instead she is 18/1 with Minding and 7/2 without. Given that Minding should win, I have played the without market but she certainly does appear overpriced in both.

    Goodwood 3.45
Another bloody tricky one. As I got half way through this field I thought I had the winners covered but there are horses down the bottom like Dancing Star, Sir Robert Cheval, Raucous and Go Far on handy enough marks as well. However the 4 at the top of my list are Kimberella, Orions Bow, Toofi and Growl. I am going to take Toofi out because I just think that handier ridden horses have a slightly better advantage at Goodwood and I think that was ultimately the difference between him winning and not winning last year. Kimberella doesnt really need much explaining given recent exploits but the ground will be on the quicker side for him now and he hasnt really shone at Goodwood before. He has run well at Epsom though and 14/1 is reasonable enough for a saver or EW bet. The two I am going to focus on are Orions Bow (7/1) and Growl (14/1). Orions Bow is a horse massively on the upgrade and he absolutely took apart his field LTO. Everything seems to be in his favour and he should be there or thereabouts. Growl has Ryan Moore on board for the first time today and he looks very progressive at 6f. He ran well enough in another good race over 7f last time but I do think this will be more up his street.

    Newmarket 4.35
Above N Beyond is my NAP and the comments are in the NAP of the day thread.

    Newmarket 5.45
Another good quality sprint but this time at HQ. Flowers on Venus (5/1) is a clear pick for me in this race, for all that I do think there are a couple of unexposed types such as Edward Lewis which may also have some weight in hand. FoV has run really well in much more competitive races than this so far this season narrowly missing out on a couple of occasions. Quick ground suits, his handy running style will suit the pace bias and he should go very close.

    Thirsk
I am running out of time so I will just quickly put up my two main bets at this track. In the 3.35 George Cinq (7/1) who run well having been bang in form so far this season. He has shown form on both soft and good ground so the slightly tackier surface up north will pose no problems.
In the 5.20 I have gone back for Pomme De Terre (17/2) who landed a right touch for me at York two runs back. This horse is better with a bit of cut and while I cant say that was the main excuse behind the poor run LTO, I wouldnt be surprised to see this progressive sort bounce back to form again at a far bigger price than he should be, especially from a good draw.

Very tricky race with Lots of improving types ....top two look evenly matched and 8/1 is a decent price on each ....ordinarily I'd just stick with those two but flying pursuit iis no forlorn hope and at 37.0 he's ridiculously overpriced so I'll keep him too
