  1. Re: Tennis: 6th February to 12th February

:@ Aaaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhhhhhh, what a way to start the week :wall This #@&^%h Li Na, after realizing that she will lose the match, retired at 67 23 in the second set. That this is pure comedy is clear from the fact she was losing 0-5 in the 1st set, but managed to equal it to 5-5, then she lost the tie-break, and after she was broken in the second, she decided to pull out the story about health problems. There was absolutely nothing happening during the game thet would even remotely look like acquiring an injury. Absolutely nothing that could justify the retitrement except that this Chinese #$%^b^&*# has poor fitness. I sincerely hope this #@&^%h will be FINED.
I know what you mean, unlucky with this. I followed due to your great reasoning and also went for the win @ pinnacle so profited on the win. I know it won't make you feel much better but your post helped me make some profit :ok hopefully I'll repay the favour soon.
  2. Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 Isner -2.5 sets (vs. Lopez) @ 5.13 with Pinnacle I like this line, despite Isner playing five sets with Nalbandian it shouldn't affect him too much. Lopez is one of the worst returners on the tour, only breaking 15% of the time. Isner fired 43 aces against a returner of the quality of Nalbandian and played well in general, Lopez struggled on serve with 6 aces and 5 double faults. Last time the two played, three months ago in Paris, it finished 6-4 6-2. I think this line is far better than the odds suggest but I also think Isner is far more likely than the outright of 1.833. Falla to beat Kohlschreiber @ 3.24 with Pinnacle First things first, the H2H between the two of them stands at 3-0 to Kohlschreiber with one of these being a 3-setter on outdoor hard. This is a bit of warning however I'm willing to overlook this for the following reasons. So far in this tournament Kohlschreiber has beaten Monaco who was struggling physically in five sets and Riba who retired. Both Monaco and Riba are not natural hardcourters. Falla has started the year well taking a set off of an in-form Ferrer and beating Fish in straight sets in the last round, an impressive victory as Fish wasn't playing badly. On balance, I think Kohlschreiber has to be the slight favourite but at these odds I think this bet represents good value.

  3. Re: Australian Open Tennis 2012 I have three bets here so far for the Australian Open. Llodra to beat Gulbis @ 2.38 with Pinnacle - 3 units - (6/10) Llodra looked good in an exhibition match with Dolgopolov, who obviously had a great week in Brisbane, possessing solid groundstrokes, motivation and good fitness. His H2H match-up on HC with Gulbis is 1-1 with Llodra retiring back in Montreal. This bet is mainly against Gulbis, who's only won 2 of his last 10 matches (losing to Rosol, Bolelli and a few out of form players like Youzhny and Querrey) and only winning 1 of his last 8 matches in Grand Slams. I expect Gulbis to be too inconsistent over 5 sets so I like these odds. Nalbandian to beat Nieminen @ 1.709 with Pinnacle - 2 units - (7/10) Nalbandian is a great player who played well against Murray at Kooyong. I think Nalbandian can beat Nieminen anyway but this bet is especially lucrative as Nieminen is currently in the singles and doubles finals in Auckland which is being played tomorrow. He has a few injury niggles and will be very fatigued which makes me question his desire and ability to play five sets against a player of Nalbandian's standard. Lu to beat F.Mayer @ 2.58 with Pinnacle - 2 units - (4/10) Mayer has picked up a relatively problematic hip flexor injury and is lacking fitness. Mayer himself said "he [Lu] is a ball machine and exactly the wrong opponent for my level of fitness. But I will try everything to win." Mayer still has to be slight favourite but Lu will know the deal and will make this match very long if possible. This is more of a gamble but I see value here providing Lu can exploit Mayer's fitness weakness.
