  1. Re: FC Bayern München v FC Porto > Tuesday April 21st Yo, here's my sh1t. Bayern ducked up in da last game. Dante gave away two goals by himself. Plus the red card fiasco.. If Robben does play which I hardly doubt then I would back bayern huge. At the moment the win odds are too low. I was tempted by the -1 goal diff, but on this occasion I think bayern to qualify is better odd's. Back bayern to qualify at 2.1 betfair.

  2. Re: Group B - Spain v Netherlands > Friday June 13th Teams sheets Spain Casillas Pique Ramos Alba Azpilicueta Xavi Alonso Busquets Iniesta Rodriguez Costa Holland Cillessen Vlaar Vrij Indi Blind Janmaat Jong Sneijder Fer Van Persie Robben Personally I think Spain will be way too strong in this match for Holland in every department. Holland have a lot of young new players in the Team, I don't think they will be able to cope with this Spanish squad though. Looks like Costa is starting so, if he does I'm on Spain at those Odds. Spain start slow as shown in previous tournaments but those odds are too juicy and I don't rate this dutch side at all. Spain to win @1.86 Betfair

  3. Re: Copa Del Rey > January 7th - 14th Real Madrid vs Osasuna Asian Handicap -2.5 @ 1.74 Betfair I would like to add that madrid according to reports show that Carlo Ancelotti will be putting out a strong team. Osasuna are a tricky side for Madrid, but as they have had a christmas break it seems wise to put out a full team. I would assume that madrid will be looking to bag a few goals to ease the pressure in the away leg. Osasuna may prove to be tricky but I'm willing to take the gamble. I'll be going ahead with the asian handicap on this occasion -2.5 golas Madrid.. good luck.... The Blancos' official site passed along comments from Carlo Ancelotti, who said he would put the best team possible out for the match, with Jese stepping in if needed:

Recovery is important for everyone. I'll put the best team possible out on Thursday because we need to keep winning for our confidence. Jesé has a chance of playing if someone has not recovered well. Jesé may be one of the most important players at the moment, even if he doesn't play from the beginning. When the other team are tired, putting on player a skillful is more important than doing so from the beginning.

  4. Re: Ligue 1 Orange > December 20th - 22nd So your going against the run of play here then. A team that's got 5 wins along with 5 clean sheets in a row against a side that's extremely dreadful to say the least. That takes balls. There's absolutely no logic for backing the BTTS bet on paper, but who knows, Monaco are bound to concede soon. Good Luck Fella

  5. Re: FC Barcelona v Celtic > Wednesday December 11th Celtic managed a goal in the 89th min, Always a risk when a team is 6-0 up and takes their foot off the GAS.. AND Celtic managed 2 Corners in the end instead of the one Corner that i predicted. One in either half, so they certainly surprised me there. I knew Celtic would score if they managed to scrape a corner or 2. I have to congratulate the Celtic supporters on here as I got my predictions totally wrong, and they were right this time..

  6. Re: AC Milan v Ajax > Wednesday December 11th

I don't expect a 'typical' Italian performance from Milan tonight' date=' because they are not capable of delivering it. I don't know Ajax well but I'd imagine they will fancy themselves to score tonight - and probably will. Their players must be on par with the lower teams of Serie A, and those lower teams have been troubling Milan all season. Given their required impetus to attack, a goal is well within their reach. Milan have a rejuvenated Balotelli joined by Kaka and El Sha so I think Milan will score and could possibly put up 2 or 3. I think goals would be the best play in this match, at a reasonable price.[/quote'] I agree, I've already gone for BTTS 1.83@ Betfair. Medium stakes...
  7. Re: AC Milan v Ajax > Wednesday December 11th Just to add that Milan have been less than impressive in the league this season languishing in mid table, and have not produced any great results yet in the Group stages of the Champions League either. The manager must be close to getting the boot and its a team out of sorts. I also feel that they will most likely progress tonight to the KO stages, but its certainly not a banker. Ajax have the potential to stun them if they have a good go at them..

  8. Re: FC Barcelona v Celtic > Wednesday December 11th Barca clean sheet: Yes @1.87 Betfair This seems like a no brainer to me. Celtic are extremely Poor this season and are well out of their depth in this Group. Scoring just 2 goals in one match. The other 4 games they have been shooting blanks. BArcelona managed a clean sheet at Celtic Park, so I can't see how they will score at the Nou Camp. Its not risk free, as Celtic may get 1 corner or a free kick during the match (their only hope of scoring). But I still like the price here and feel its worth taking a punt at these odds. This bet will even win if its a 0-0. As BArcelona would still top the group with a draw, and Celtic could stick 11 men in Goal. :clap

  9. Re: AC Milan v Ajax > Wednesday December 11th

Ajax is not a good team anymore and will struggle to contain the many threats of the San Siro giants. They don't possess the va-va-voom going forward so they will not frighten the Italians who will be confident they could play for a 0-0 and achieve the aim quite easily. But with Kaka back to his brilliant best and Mario Ballotelli banging in the goals I suspect the Milanese could strike a goal and win this match. My simulations fail to come up with a formula in which Ajax can possibly win this match. So the safest bet is to lay Ajax at 5/1 on Betfair for a 10/10 stake.
Didn't Ajax hold Milan to a 1-1 draw in Amsterdam, and beat Barcelona in their last match.. ???? They look like a team on good form to me.. !!
  10. Re: AC Milan v Ajax > Wednesday December 11th

The fact that Milan needs a draw to qualify doesn't meen anything.I cannot imagine Milan sitting back and waiting the game to finish 0:0.More than that' date='they cannot defend well.We saw that in their game against Livorno last weekend but with all the attacking weapons they have, they will attack from the very beginning and destroy this Ajax team. The Dutch side is obviously the weakest team in the group and Milan who's been critisiceda lot in recent weeks will have too much for them. The money factor should also be considered as an extra motivation here.[/quote'] Italian teams don't normally score more than they have to. If a 0-0 is adequate, then more than likely they will play for and hold out for a 0-0.. That's the way Italian sides are. Personally I feel that this should be a great game though with goals, and Ajax should bring something to the table. Ajax have shown already that they have a team that can compete with the top teams, so I wouldn't agree they are weak, in fact they have a very good young squad and are only 3 points behind Barcelona in the group. I'm personally going for btts on this one as I feel Ajax will be a major threat at the San Siro and have a great chance of scoring. Lots at stake and both sides can progress.
  11. Re: Europa League > Thurs 4th April

Fair to say Benfica rode their luck on more than one occasion with time standing still on 2 occasions when the ball was creeping toward goal only for it to come back off the post. Fair also to say that on each occasion l truly shat my pants. On balance of play though, lets be truthful, Benfica mullered them!
yeh I had to change my pants a couple of times too, Especially with that Penalty re-take..
  12. Re: Europa League > Thurs 4th April

Benfica v Newcastle I will go into some detail regarding this game. Benfica are top of the Portugeeze league as oposed to Newcastle being close to bottom of the prem. Newcastle are now in a relegation battle, mainly due to playing in this Extra comp. I believe now they have come as far as they can in this Comp with such a Ltd squad. Benfica are a class act, especially at home I dont fancy Newcastles Chances at all playing down there. Even if Man Utd or another Top were heading down there, I wouldnt back them. Benfica will be victorious and I believe by a couple of nets. Benfica will need to try and open up a reasonable gap before going up to Geordieland and they are capable of doing so. My Tip's are as Follows: Benfica to WIn @ 1.5 Betfair Benfica -1 @ 1.77
An easy one this was :nana
