real top stuff from Milkins today. That first frame put the match in his favour from the start. Makes the final and that's a minimum of 40/1 right there 

to be fair when it come down to the black we finally saw some class. That is the worst I've ever seen Ronnie play and the worst I've ever seen Allen play. The money on offer was clearly on his mind because some of his shots were bordering match fixing. 
Brilliant to see Milkins get through. Would love to see him make the final but then he would have the nervousness of the 150k prize. Which is currently Ali Carters.

Yeah, that's why I said "good result" for him, and not "well played" by him because he played pretty terrible at times and could have easily lost 4-2. Some brainless shots. Suppose at his price you're not going to get consistency. 
 

Milkins and Selby both very up and down in their play tonight, some glaring misses, particularly from Selby who really has gone backwards of late. Superb century from Milkins to win it but he'll have to cut out the schoolboy errors in between his quality play if he wants to make the final stages.

I feel very confident that Wu is going to win tonight. The guy has a monstrous game. He beat Shapovalov and Mannarino in straight sets. Taylor Fritz thought he could stop him after winning the first set last night, but that wasn't the case. Wu turned it around with ease. The Chinese player should have been the clear favorite tonight.

Milkins bet still live. He will take on Group 6 tomorrow and Friday.
Looks like no Mark Williams or Brecel this tournament and so both are returned stake.  Indeed, likely now Carter wont bother either.
I'll be going for a group winner tomorrow if the market gets up quick enough. Milkins/Guodong/Selt one of those 3 for me but we'll see what the markets bring.

I am also contemplating taking Shelby Rogers but she has played the last 3 days in a row, including two 3 set games the last two days so I am hesitating , I might take her just to win the 1st set.

no bet for me in the afternoon matches. Might have a look at the 7pm matches. Just hoping for a miracle with Wakelin and Milkins. 

It's hard to build a ranking on hard indoors capacity but Alycia Parks is a speldid indoor hardcourt player and it's no fluke she's beaten Karo Pliskova in Prag on indoor hardcourt and won two 125k hard indoor events.

The early Davis Cup action begins tomorrow, and there are some notable matches drawn (and hopefully to be played) - Zverev against Wawrinka is the main highlight. Noskova is continuing with her cakewalk draw, so I don't think she's worth opposing tomorrow, and I'm afraid of backing Parks, though she looks good to beat Kovinic at first glance.

If only. Would LOVE to see Jimmy win a title. Just seeing him play well is great.

I suppose few of the outright still doing OK. Guodong smashing it tonight with a 100 and 2 50+ breaks. Slessors only frame should have been the top break. Should have went pink and was like 2/3 balls from a century but I'll hope now that Guodong can beat Lisowski and then K.Wilson in that top half.

One more bet for tonights matches. On a sidenote, can't wait to watch Lisowski Vs Jimmy tonight. White is playing some of the best stuff I've seen from him in ages but you just know he's going to get smashed anyway
Guodong plays El Slessor tonight. Guodong is playing some good stuff and overcome Fan Zhengyi 5-4 from 4-3 down. He hit 4 50+ breaks in that match and was pretty solid. That's how I see Guodong really, a solid player who scores alot of 70-100 scores to win frames. I don't see him as a player who hits a whole lot of centuries and in fact in his last 10 matches he has hit just 1. 1 in the last 12 in fact. Don't get me wrong, he wins alot but he tends to "get the job done"
Slessor beat O'Connor 5-2 and hit 2 centuries, including a 115 and a 120. He also hit 2 against Lam in qualifications. Also hit a 142 in his Welsh Open win against Emery last month. I think it's worth siding with Slessor on the Highest Break tonight
