Watched some of the tennis today and I thought Berretini was pretty unimpressive aside from when his serve was clicking. Kudla probably should have beaten him in two but couldn't take his break points in the second set. On this evidence I wouldn't be expecting Berretini to go deep at Wimbledon. Way too many unforced errors too.
Querrey was very disappointing I thought, he just doesn't seem to have much of a tennis brain, service aside his all round game was markedly inferior to Krajinovic, who played some good stuff, but was helped by Querrey's ineptitude. Still though the Serb played with confidence and I'd expect him to overcome the young Brit Peniston in the next match.

Short odds I know but I pulled the trigger on Evans at 1/4 just before he broke for a second time. 1/5 now. Surprised he's not shorter considering he'll almost definitely be two sets up soon.

Baez got it together near the end of the second set and cruised home in the third, but Fognini has been well below par, not looking likely that he'll turn it around.

Halep getting trounced by Collins in the second set after losing a close first set was a surprise. Doesn't augur well for her chances in Paris. Collins impressive though in her first match for a while.

Relax dude, I said his price was too big, I didn't say throw a g on it cos he's nailed on to win! ? Also there are occasions where some bookies offer cash outs on such bets, allowing for a profit if he makes it through a few rounds. That's the kind of scenario I'm talking about here.

Goffin at 250/1 with Boylesports is too big, especially how the Belgian has performed on clay in the last couple of months, almost beating Nadal.

That said though Djokovic really should have won that match, he had several winning positions in Alcaraz' service games in that third set, but couldn't close the deal. He'll be kicking himself he let that one slip.

He's like a petulant child. Nothing is ever his fault. I admit I enjoy watching him play, he very talented and often entertaining but it's no harm to see him getting a bit of comeuppance like this. He needs to grow up and realise the sun does not shine out of his you know what! ?

Quite happy to take a small double on Bronzetti to beat Saville (Gavrilova) and Osaka to lose to Riske. Riske has a decent chance, because Osaka is just so brittle, and hearing an American crowd, supporting an American will probably upset her. Riske just gotta start well, and Osaka could melt down. Bronzetti in great form, so anything could happen in this match.
I think Kudermetova beats Petra Kvitova. Kudermetova is a tough competitor and has been playing really well. Will combine this with Fruhvirtova to beat Badosa (obviously small bet).
I think the 1.57 on Swiatek to beat Guaff in straight sets is a reasonable price. Swiatek probably playing close to the best tennis of her life at the moment.
I think the crowd will be at least as much for Osaka as for Riske, she might not be American but her persona is very 'modern day American' in character. I take your point though, Osaka brittleness means you're never quite sure what you're going to get.

Here's my first tip:
I think the first option here is definitely worth a bet, Paula is currently no. 6 in the rankings and has a great chance of finishing top 10 this year. 6/4 with Paddy Power.
A small stake on top 5 is I think also worth a shot, although obviously less certain than top 10. 11/2 with Paddy Power.
And a very small amount on top 3 in case she has a stellar year. 12/1 with Paddy Power.

Hi folks!
I'm a forum member for several years but drifted away from the forum for a good while, but I'm back now and looking forward to Wimbledon!
Unfortunately I'm a bit late with the bet I was going to propose, and that is for Ludmila Samsonova to win Wimbledon.
She was a standout 80/1 on Bet365 only a week or so ago, but sadly she's come in since, first to 66/1 and now to 33/1.
From a prospects point of view, this is obviously a good sign, but from a value perspective, less so.
But there's no doubt she's on a hot streak at the moment, storming through the field in Berlin, beating Bencic and Azarenka on the way to the title.
I'd still say she's worth a small e/w stake at 33/1 (Paddy Power and Bet365).

Thanks for the tips Torque. I saw Riske playing Zvonareva recently and she was very poor, even just keeping a rally going proved a challenge for her, a lot of unforced errors. Zvonareva didn't play that well herself but she still had enough to break Riske once in each set. Unless Riske has gotten her act together, I would be afraid that Radwanska will come out and blow her off the court, sometime like 6-1, 6-2, as she's well capable of doing. The only thing in Riske's favour is home advantage, perhaps that will give her an extra game or two, but I would be amazed if she won a set, and breaking the 5.5 handicap is a big ask, in my opinion.Alison Riske (+1.5 sets) to beat Agnieszka Radwanska @ 2.660 Pinnacle Alison Riske (+5.5 games) to beat Agnieszka Radwanska @ 2.110 Pinnacle I wouldn't say Radwanska has had the strongest start to the season, so I'm not sure she deserves to be such a strong favourite against a home player who has the advantage of already playing at this tournament. Riske snapped a losing streak in the first round against Lucic-Baroni, and with her morale boosted she should have a chance as Radwanska doesn't seem to have found her rhythm yet this year. Karolina Pliskova (-5.5 games) to beat Lara Arruabarrena @ 1.847 Pinnacle Prior to this tournament, Arruabarrena was on a horrible run of form stretching back to the end of last season. She deserves credit for turning things around and stringing some wins together in qualifying, but even with her confidence lifted this should be step too far. Pliskova has started the season well and made the final in Dubai recently, and although she didn't make much of an impression in Doha most likely that was because she ran out of steam. Now that she's had some time to rest she should be raring to go, and she certainly has the quality to start off her tournament with an easy win. -
Re: March 9 - March 15 Agree with matrixman's assessment. Melzer has been poor enough in the last few months and Russell comes into his best when playing in front of his own fans. I can see it going to three sets, but Russell could well nick it with the home support.

Yeh I was following it too, incredibly frustrating, I couldn't believe Germany managed to screw that one up, really unfortunate, so so close, great tip though.
