What a fantastic day/weekend!
Thank you to everybody, whether you came to play or drink. It was fabulous to catch up with everyone.
Massive thanks to Genting Casino at Resorts World and especially Rich and all his staff at the Poker Room.  The tournaments ran like clockwork and we had an impressive turnout, something like 17 for the PLO and 24 for NLHE.   And of course even more massive thanks to Paul and PuntersLounge for the added value.

I’m Teaulc’s son, looking forward to seeing you all again & hopefully the old man doesn’t win this time!
I’ll be playing the no limit holdem. 

Finally got his trousers back.  

I'm a definite now for this. Will come up for the PLO and NLHE and stay over. 

May have been me Leo, although not overly close, I'm north of Pompey.... although isn't everything come to think of it? ?‍??

Booked my flights out to Philippines for 2 weeks (24th Jan to 9th Feb) last month. 

Awesome. Was thinking of this a month or two back when a facebook memory came up, but then real life distracted me and never got around to doing anything about it.

i can finally defend my title

We're getting 2020 off to a bang with the return of the PL Poker Championships and Meet Up.
The venue is again the fabulous Genting Casino and Poker Room at Resorts World Birmingham, who looked after us so well last time.
Date is Saturday 1st February 2020.
The plan is to hold a Pot Limit Omaha tournament at 2pm and the No Limit Holdem Main Event from 7pm, with a break in between so you can get some food.  Buy-ins and added registration fee are detailed below.
PL will be adding £500 to be split between the 2 tourneys. Split £150 Added for PLO and £350 Added for NLH. Trophies for top 2 in each event also.

Well that was an epic 3-hander. Well done to thebestthere on the win . 
After all the guys formerly at top of the table seemed to jump over the cliff, I was just playing tactically and hanging in there with my short stack hoping that the 2 titans would take each other on, which they did eventually! ? So after a rather extraordinary result I find I am this month's champion ?
Well done to Leo and Paul who hold on to podium positions in 2nd ?and 3rd ?
A very close fought month, thank you everyone who played.

I don't know if this has been posted before but on betfred poker client  on the sit n go go tab they have this flip to a grand steps promotion cost like a quid and its all in so u don't need to hang out but I think its good value if u make the final flip all get paid top 6 but its hard to get there 

Congratulations to Leo whose double points win tonight also leaps him into the champion spot at the top of the table
Podium places also taken by our 2nd and 3rd placers in tonight's game, Zozzy and demioz
Commiserations to Vince, who needed to do just a tad better than last to hang onto the money
The double points bonus drew the numbers out again to play tonight, thank you to everone who participated this month.

So had a quick look, but can't actually find reference to there being a team prize this year, just the David vs Goliath thing. 
Maybe it's not happening, but link to Goliath website for full schedule, structure, satellites and talk of online day 1's which might be new this time around. 

Team thing, if happening, was free entry, just supply team name and members taking part. 
Max for 4 or 6 players, i forget now. No team event, just all play individually as normal, points allocated for deep run and totalled for all team players. Think prize used to be GUKPT tokens or exclusive restricted freeroll or similar. 
Just to re-emphasize, may not be happening this year.
