  1. Re: 2011 a year long thread Best of luck with this m8, Whats your goal here? For what its worth, if you do manage to get to £100, dont withdraw. Yes mix n match laying and backing, to win your small amounts. The worst thing you can do with such a small amount (£100) is withdraw such a high proportion. Id suggest keep it going, if u hit £200, draw everything over £200 on a daily basis, and leave £200 as your bank. Its for a year so no rush, 1 bet at a time.:hope Villareal 1-0 up after 30 mins,:notworthy

  2. Re: Giving something back to the forum :) Well done today keep it rolling:ok One question, today for example 1.10 Ling, you advised Pete The Feat to be layed. Thats ok, but the original shortish fav was pulled out in a five horse race, is there any fall back in your software for this, or is it a case of let it ride?,,,obviously at a reduced liability.

  3. Re: Horse Racing £5000 - £25000 in a year. Earlier post this morning... 1.10 Ling. Fleur De Vassey. This horse rates as NAP material today. After his run 3 weeks ago at Plumpton it should have him ripe. This track today will suit him more and todays opposition is limited. VW;s stable is a stable to follow in the next few weeks, and will be on the hot list by the end of January. This horse today should make short shrift of todays opposition, and i will be very dissapointed if it does not win. No advertised prices as yet, but we should be able to get 7/4 or bigger. £500 win. gl.:hope Non Runner above. HAYJACK WINS 4PM Hereford 16/1, not a dime on it. :@:@:@:@:@:@

  4. Re: Horse Racing £5000 - £25000 in a year. thanks guys, lets hope i can get some momentum going. I have one for tomorrow that i have been waiting for to come back out, its in a handicap, so i will wait to see what they chalk up at before releasing on this thread. I'm pretty confident, all the signs are right for it to run a big race, however what's the saying...Best laid plans of mice n men. GL with the rest of the day if your taking part.;)

  5. Re: Horse Racing £5000 - £25000 in a year. Thanks Aldric. 1 more bet today. Whatever you think about MUNSEF, the conditions of todays race puts him way in front of his opposition. Now he is at 7/4 + on exchanges is the value. If the right Munsef turns up he wins easily. Yes the Jockey has to be right also, but at this point in time he is the value of the day. £300 at average of 2.8, £520 profit.

  6. Re: Jump Racing - 3rd January 2.15 Ling - Babe Heffron. The racing post has gone for this and summarizes his chances well, CD winner, goes well fresh etc.. What they fail to mention is that the horse has been entered all over the place in the last two weeks, being declared the other day only to be withdrawn at the 11th hour. TG must be over the moon with the jockey booking, as (imo) he is the best pace setter of all jump jockeys. I am trying to get the 4/1 available, £300 win, will let you know how i got on later. Incidentley a trmendous Back to Lay angle on this horse. GL :hope

  9. Re: Jump Racing - 3rd January 1.10 Lingfield, Fleur de vassey Rates as NAP material today. 3 weeks ago the race at Plumpton got this horse just about to peak fitness, and should be ready to do the business today on this more testing track. The stable(v williams) is one to follow in the next few weeks and i can see them hitting the hot list by the end of January. FDV's opposition today is limited and i expect this horse to win and win well. There is no advertised prices as yet, but expect to get at least 7/4, I am looking to get £500 on at this price or bigger. GL:hope

  10. After only 1 entry in the last 14 days, The man has obviousley read the riot act to his various trainers. Entries all over the place in the next few days. I know he can be very short with his trainers and jockeys, so maybe they are out to prove that they can train/ride winners. :notworthy For the amount of horses he has in training he has a poor return. I expect he will have several winners of the next few days. I will keep an eye on his return.

  11. Re: Horse Racing £5000 - £25000 in a year. - £230 on the day, running total, - £400. All horse's picked today, went off shorter than price advised. The only one that has annoyed me is Kieltys Folly. How to dissapoint a horse who runs all his best races from the front, DROP HIM TO LAST!. If there is 1 thing that annoys me with British racing is how the trainers get away with changing the run style, at the drop of a hat. If the same tactics were employed in Hong Kong, without advertising the change, the Trainer would be warned off for 28 days plus. As we know stables/owners lay their horses, They laid this horse today without a doubt, and its a shame connections are brought to task over it. The game is hard enough without this obvious cheating going on. Kieltys folly will win soon over 7 furlongs, when they want him too. Tomorrow another day.:wall

  12. Re: Horse Racing £5000 - £25000 in a year. 3.15 Plumpton . The Hardy boy 3.15. Now with the dead 8 in the race, the Plumpton specialist rates as a very good e/way bet, with doubts about the fav,(yard not firing imo) should be in the frame and possiblibilites that he can win this. £100 e/w 10/1 win, 2.8 place. layed fav Eire Alfie, 2.42 £300 liabilty of £412. Also have £17.50 running on High oscar at sp.

  13. Re: Horse Racing £5000 - £25000 in a year. Yes ty, I do when i get the liquidity on there, and to me its a balancing act and i have to factor in commision, I can never get the e/way terms early in the day on any of the exchanges. So I split the bets around the firms, and to be honest with several firms i am factored down, and have to use Freinds n Family to get on, although im running out of these. Im factored not because im a great winner with them or anything like that, its because ......well like the other day, i backed horse at 11/1,,backed of the boards late in the day down to 13/2,,yes it lost,,but they dont like the thought of anyone in the know. GL today

  14. Re: Horse Racing £5000 - £25000 in a year. 1.55 Ayr Lampion Du bost. 14/1, with variious firms. £100 e/way. This horse is on a winning mark, and did not take to the national fences last time. Acts really well round here, and is a huge price given the conditions, if JG has him right will take alot of beating. GL

  15. Re: Horse Racing £5000 - £25000 in a year. 3.40 southwell. Kieltys Folly, (GG 1 ride), 7/1 various firms. This is the greys distance, a must e/way bet, may get an easy time in front, the only 1 problem will be tireing in the final furlong, however the jockey is the best round here for setting fractions, a very cofident e/way bet. And a must for any arb's out there. £200 e/way. 7/1, 4 diffrent places. GL
