  1. Re: The Ashes OK here we go Wednesday.......Not putting anything up until I know if it is Finn or Bresnan,,,,,has been a swing bowlers n traditional bowlers heaven in the past TB...but this season,,,Mega amount of runs being scored,,,not much swing.....They relayed the surface....so that must have something to do with it...A point to keep in mind..CMON ENGLAND

  2. Re: BBOTD > SUNDAY 7th July 4.30 AYR OSTEOPATHIC REMEDY...4/1 HILLS PADDY 365 n a few more...1mile on any ground is good for this CD winner, down to 90 today, been given a chance by the hcapper, and young Beasley takes 7 off, what does stand out here, is a small field but over half who have to make it or be up there, OP Remedy, loves coming off a fast pace.

  3. Re: Flat Racing > Saturday 6th of July In the 2.05 SANDOWN,,,Tickled Pink...The more I look, the more I see her dominating here...She gets the draw, straight up the rail, Now we know Bungleinthejungle will also want to be up there,,from stall 8, now doubt will come across, thus shuffling the pack up,,,now as we seen yesterday, you gotta be on the front, and the selection wont be stopping,,,9/2 now, unbelievable price...should be 3/1 biggest, nap material for me.

  4. Re: BBOTD - Saturday 6th July 2.05 SANDOWN....4/1 CORAL PADDY POWER...TICKLED PINK Today she should be able to dominate from stall 2, and is well up to G3, the ground went against her last time, but rattling GF ground, is in her fav. Plenty in here can win, but for me Tickled Pink will already be gone.

  6. Re: Tour De France

Right-o' date=' I've already layed Greipel and layed Cavendish, and I've now added a small back of Lars Petter Nordhaug at 209/1 on Betfair, with a view to laying some of it off if he gets in a break that stabilises. So my book is now:Greipel (layed at 7.0): -8.5ptsCavendish (layed at 3.4): -8.5ptsNordhaug (backed at 210): +120ptsField: +5.8pts[/quote']GL ill be watching n cheering for u!:ok
  7. Re: BBOTD Friday 5th June 2.20 sandown JOE PACKET 8/1 SPORTINBET WILLIAM HILL, plus a couple more...Jim Crowley Booked, off 91, CD winner..DRAWN 1....all in his fav today...Too far ar ascot last time but still ran a big race, however its his race before were he showed he is ready at NOTTS...all that form has progressed from the other runners...He looks set up for it today on his fav up hill finish.

  8. Re: Tour De France

As has already been said one man helped him and given he was behind the cars as well it would have taken little out of him. His team just got it badly wrong, not for the first time this season, and by all accounts cav was having a right go at them on the team bus afterwards. As good as they were yesterday they were poor today. Sent from my GT-I8190N using PL Forum
The pace was so high yesterday..it was back breaking, so any fall was going to be against them,,we will have to agree to disagree......Im not having a bet in todays stage,,,not convinced that it will be a sprinters day...there may be a break that gets away with it
  9. Re: The Jockey Thread

One of the most ridiculous races I've ever seen, cant believe what I just watched. More inclined to think it was jockey incompetence though rather than some conspiracy theory, the winner was 50/1 and the race was full of apprentice riders. If you were to set up a race, I doubt you would make it so ridiculous and draw so much attention as that.
An sp of 50/1..I do believe t started out at 150 on course n the shops...a few £10 at that price is enough.....Also you miss the two jollys, at evens and 7/4.....,,,,,,Katie walsh n jane mangan...know all about pace,,they are not that raw m8....NA stunk to high heaven, Come racing eh!
  10. Re: The Jockey Thread 9pm Ireland LEP.....If you ever ever need a reason not to bet on Irish Racing...This should answer all...Just about the biggest set up race you will ever see in your life....What a bag of spanners this was......They will tell you it was straight tho!:rollin:rollin.

  11. Re: Tour De France

Sorry I disagree with you. The crash paid little part in things as Cav looked fine and caught up the bunch fairly easily. What happened was Cav's team messed up the lead out just as Greipel's team messed up the lead out yesterday. The roles were reversed today and the result was reversed. What you have to bear in mind is Cav is the fastest but Griepel isn't actually far behind and if Lotto get things right then Cav's team have to as well to beat him.
Sorry I don't agree, those riders who dragged him back into it, would normally see him thru to the 150m mark, but they were knackered,,at 250 he was ALONE,,,he was 10 bikes off the lead stuck in traffic, he manouvered all over the place, as bikes were slowing down..I was amazed he got so close..Sorry look again at the race.
  12. Re: BBOTD > Thursday 4th July

3.30 PERTH GREEN LIGHTNING...15/8 CORAL...The way he won last time' date=' was eye catching, and PB has him now, really should win as he did last time despite the rise in weights, so long as RJ don't mess up, he should be the banker of the day....so far as horse racing is concerned. This one time 80+ hcapper on the flat, was taking on Mount Athos and the likes....He really should be able to run to a mark of 125+...So today should be a cakewalk if im right.[/quote'] that was easy peezzeeyy...:cow
  13. Re: The Jockey Thread Firstly I laid the FAV SPEEDFIEND...only because Yarmouth is the most disgusting course in the country, if you back short ones...The Fav, should have won this..Who does Stephen Donohoe think he is trying to kid here, beaten a length into 4th,,From the start to the finish he was looking to get this beat, Utter disgrace if you backed it...When it goes in a nursery wait till their money is down...and lump on..it wont win next time it will wait for the hcap mark...more than likely..Trash Jockey n Trash Trainer ..HTH

  14. Re: Win VIP for 2 Coral Eclipse Day at Sandown - Sponsored by Coral! *JayAlexander Wi

After asking a few close friends, who have already made plans, a couple of people who have already posted on this thread and my dad, who doesn't want to go (despite being in to horses. Strange man), I've decided that rather than offer it on Facebook and end up with someone who has no interest in horse racing and is just coming for the free bar, I'd offer my guest ticket to a fellow forumite. Conditions are that you must have posted more than 50 times. The only thing I'll be asking for is that you enjoy the day! Just post on this thread, then at 8pm tonight I'll draw a name from a hat, or flip a coin if there's only two of ya! Just don't make me take my mum! Ready? GO :) Sent from my GT-I9100 using PL Forum
Great Gesture...I cant m8, but there will be a few takers..who live in and around London...And a blazing hot day! in store..Go for it people

  16. Re: Tour De France

For sure all things being equal Cavendish wins tomorrow, but the tour doesn't always work like that. I would also say lotto and greipel made a complete mess of things today. Given you both backed him at much bigger odds today I am not sure what you have to gain. Sent from my GT-I8190N using PL Forum
Its basically don't have a bet or him or back him, don't look for miracles like falling off...He is the best sprinter in the world..No one has the legs of him in a straight line,,,He is around 2/7-1/5 in my book on this pure flat stage, so he becomes value even at 8/11. IMO of course.
  17. Re: The Jockey Thread

Fallon relieved of his riding duties for Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum but will still ride for Luca Cumani.. Anyone know why?
He is not far off 50....Not as hungry as he once was, Not as quick thinking as he once was...There are better and Hungrier jocks out there, I could be wrong, he may have pi44ed him off(the owner)....Fallon has done that before,,,NO Loss IMO, had his best days.
