Lucky Violet - from Linda Perratt yard who use to train at Ayr but back home in parents farm in Lanarkshire this 9yo was once at Iain Jardine yard but been with Linda since 2018 and only won three times although plenty of place finishes, this season she's been poor but two weeks ago her best run of this season at Ayr 7f finished 3rd beaten 0.75 lengths, she was held up in rear and made headway but not a clear run over 2f out then ridden over 1f out and ran on inside final furlong , She goes the mile today and she's C&D winner with yard changing jockey as

Breath Of Spring the 5yo is having his 2nd change of trainer from Luke McJannet to John Butler on 25th of June the yard had six days to work on him and its been 27 days since last run at Bath 5.5f GF when 3rd beaten 2 lengths he ran off 60 with Harry Burns claiming 5lbs off in App Handicap, In rear before being pushed along at halfway before being ridden and some headway 2f out going to 1f pole kept on and went third inside final furlong, He gets 1st run for new yard and handicapper takes 1lb off to 59 mark but the claimer Mark Crehan only gets 3lbs off so is carrying 1lb more for that 3rd place

Kryptos - from John Berry yard the 7yo has a fair record round here and has won four times from 1m to 1m 1f on ground varying from good to soft and on the all-weather, his two visits have yielded a win and a very close third , at Christmas time they gave him a break of 102 days and came out in April at Nottingham 1m 0.5f GF when 5th of 6 runners beaten 6 lengths , He's had 29 days for some stamina work and the GS will help with the handicapper taking 2lbs off and Nicola Currie in saddle who's won on him three times

Ayr 3:35 Mighty Thunder - 10/1 bet365 e/w thanks 

Mighty Thunder - from Lucinda Russell yard she usual sends one or two down to Cheltenham but only a bumper runner this year so she has took the journey over the border to Uttoxeter 4m 2f GS from Perth and managed to get a 2nd place beaten a length . I did a write about him in that Uttoxeter race and with missing Cheltenham i thought he would be going to Grand National at Aintree but yard left that to come here for the Scottish National today and after winning Edinburgh National Handicap Chase 4m 1f soft at Musselburgh in February, The yard will be hopeful to add the Scottish National although the handicapper added another 5lbs on for 2nd place at Uttoxeter race after getting 10lbs for Musselburgh race, The yard are bring Tom Scudamore up for race as Peter Scudamore is Lucinda's partner so Blair Campbell misses the ride after being in saddle for 16th of last 17tn runs.

Smuggler's Blues if it blue in name that will do me this 9yo from Tom George yard he's been successful in a chase and a point-to-point at 2m 4f and 3m on good ground, although last win was over two years ago but who've got to think that his turn will come again after last four runs this season saw 223 and 2 in his last race after a break of 83 days over the winter he came out at Fakenham 3m GS Handicap Chase, Challenger Staying Chase Series Qualifier made his move 3 out and went 8 lengths clear but lead was reducing going to last and had no extra in runin beaten 2.75 lengths and was 44 lengths of 3rd place horse ,Jockey Jonathan Burke got the ride that day for 1st time this season five runs and keeps the ride again today off same 117 mark

Aberama Gold - from Keith Dalgleish yard the 4yo is a C&D winner and also won at Chelmsford AW 6f he's also won stakes tuf race and 3 other turf runs and various place finishes in both Turf and AW , His last run was 32 days ago at Wolverhampton AW 6f class2 when he finished 2nd in Betway Handicap off 102 beaten a nose by Venturous who he meets again today, The handicapper hit the winner 2lbs to 105 and Aberama Gold 1lb rise to 103 so is 2lbs better off this time with Shane Gray keeping the ride
