    Everton v Liverpool
Brendan Rodgers has a fine record at Goodison Park, picking up three draws here from his last three visits but this will be in my opinion the worst Liverpool side to visit The Toffees. Not only that, I think Everton are probably at their strongest right now in years so it could be a very tough day at the office for Rodgers, the Reds and the Liverpool FC fans.
Liverpool haven't kept a clean sheet in all competitions since they drew 0-0 at The Emirates back in August, conceding in each of their last seven games since. Their defense looks very shaky this season and with Lukaku in such brilliant form, I don't think they will keep Everton at bay on Sunday.
Most years, Everton come into this match with hope rather than confidence but I think for the first time, they will come into this tie feeling like strong favourites. You can be sure that there should be a few goals here as both teams will be desperate to win which should see good attacking football. But for me, I am with Everton all day long here!

I'm personally not confident of a United win. The Germans love that all the pressure is on United with Van Gaal saying they MUST win. Wolfsburg have huge danger in that front 4 and Kruse/Dost are good finishers. Likewise Man Utd have talent up front. They finished second in Germany last year and are accustomed to doing battle with BVB and Bayern so this occasion won't faze them. A new look unproven United side who find themselves top of the league but haven't gone through the fire yet to prove anything to us.
Can they dominate top European sides who are tactically intelligent at home and get 3 points or do they get sucked into conceding goals like Chelsea and Arsenal on Tuesday?
The common theme in both sides is a less than water tight defense which is compensated for by some heavy artillery upfront and generally two sides who get proactive and attack matches.

    Genoa V AC Milan
    AC Milan -0 @ 1.729 Matchbook > 5% BR
I was impressed with Milan during the week at Udinese, not only do they defend well as a unit under Mihajlovic but they are also starting to click with the offensive side of their game. Montolivo is returning to form with his vision and passing while Bonaventura’s attacking game also seems to be maturing. Balotelli has been strong since returning from Liverpool and in my view put in a career best performance in the midweek game at the stadio friuli. People will point to the fact that Milan nearly let a 3-0 lead slip in that encounter, but that was largely due to tactical changes from both sides in the second half where Milan lost their only natural right-back. Before that Milan defended extremely well, they defend as a team and this is one of the key characteristics of a Mihajlovic team.
Genoa are really not a side to be underestimated and goodness knows I’ve had problems fading them in the past but they are in a difficult moment right now. The fixture machine has not been kind to them thus far with Gasperini’s team having to face many of the top sides early doors. Genoa’s injury and suspension problems continue for the game against Milan, many first teamers will be missing and it’s difficult to envisage that this will be the game where Genoa can improve their poor form.
This will not be an easy game for Milan by any means, Genoa will still utilize their high tempo pressing game and their aggressive style does not allow much time for their opponents to get comfortable on the ball. The home side still have exciting and dangerous players they can call upon such as Perotti and Ntcham and it’s generally considered a bold move to oppose Genoa on their own turf. Despite this, I really like the look of Milan at the moment, their performances seem to improve with every game and I believe they have the quality and characteristics to capitalize against a damaged Genoa outfit.
It’s Milan with full draw cover for me, still risky but I’ll take it.

With regards to Tottenham V Palace, I don't think I can get involved in the AH market for that game before seeing the starting lineups + bench of both sides. Both clubs have question marks over several key players and I feel they could seriously influence the outcome of the game. Heung-Min Son will be confident after his midweek brace so things may start to improve for Tottenham offensively as they have struggled for goals so far this campaign. Tottenham's defence is currently stronger than Palace's imo. I think RB Ward + CB Delaney might still be unavailable for Palace tommorow which is a blow + McCarthy is not the finished article in goal. Palace's defence is simply unreliable in its current form. Palace do create a large amount of chances on the counter-attack and we should expect that to continue against a high pressing Tottenham team but chance conversion is currently an issue for Palace. CF Glenn Murray has been sold (not good) while CF Connor Wickham is an injury doubt. CF Patrick Bamford + CF Fraizer Campbell aren't being looked upon kindly by Pardew while False 9 Bolasie is not a natural goal scorer. CF Dwight Gayle is a natural goal scorer but it's unlikely he will start as his all-round match play is not that great. Palace are simply not sharp enough at either end of the pitch atm for my money. I feel this game will either end in a draw or a narrow Tottenham victory. Will wait to see lineups, if characteristics are good for Palace then I maybe tempted to take them on the +0.75 line if the price improves but that's a lot of ifs, buts and bollox. I will most likely avoid this game from AH betting perspective.

Have to agree with Simeon here. City have improved the squad while Juve have lost key players and brought in Mandzukic who is a useless player. Like stated above, Juve's great strength the last few seasons was Pogba, Pirlo, Vidal and Marchiso. In this foursome there's class, fight, creativity and energy. Everything you could wish for in a midfield. Now they'll only be able to field Pogba alone. Never write Juve off but I think City will catch them at a good time here. This is what they bought De Bruyne for, to help Silva break down good defences in Europe and he could play a decisive role hear after showing a decent performance at the weekend.

Well these are the away games Arsenal thrive in. Zagreb are the dominant force in Croatia with technical superiority and class in their league. They aren't adept at defending against serious world class attacks and we see them as light weights in defence but always capable of scoring against sides. Arsenal will need to watch Algerian international Soudani who is good, but overall if Dinamo want to pass it around and create chances then ultimately Arsenal should cut them to pieces. Where I would be more doubtful of Arsenal getting a win is if they traveled to one of those less technical and more physical sides who just wanted to sit in and break up the play. That's when Arsenal get stifled and are more likely to slip up.

Napoli V Sampdoria Sampdoria +1.25 @ 1.909 Matchbook > 5% BR I opposed Samp in the opening round after their Europa league debacle but they performed very well against Carpi right from the get go. We can’t get too excited about the margin of their 5-2 victory as Carpi’s defending was atrocious, while Sampdoria’s finishing was excellent. For me, Sampdoria are pretty decent going forward with the likes of Soriano, Eder and Muriel, they will definitely have no problems scoring goals this season. I still have issues with them at the back as their defense is not as strong as last year but they do still have a very solid keeper in the form of Viviano. Napoli on the other hand had a poor start to their league campaign with a 2-1 defeat to Sassuolo. Maurizio Sarri’s team looked dangerous in the opening exchanges with Marek Hamsik more effective in his preferred deeper midfield role. Despite this, Napoli soon faded, their match fitness is not up to scratch yet while a new look backline was at sixes and sevens. Napoli struggled to defend against Sassuolo’s quick and incisive attacks and I feel Sampdoria can pose a similar attacking threat with the likes of Soriano, Eder and Muriel. We should definitely expect to see a response from Napoli here, they will be playing in front of their home crowd where they can prove to be a very difficult team to compete with. I expect we will see Ghoulam return at left-back for the home side to shore up a shaky defense and clearly Napoli are a level above Sampdoria in terms of player quality and squad depth. Despite this, Sampdoria are clearly better developed in terms of their sharpness and match fitness, they have players that can test Napoli’s defense and I don’t think the away side should be available on such a big line here given the circumstances.

Manchester United - Brugge Felipe Gedoz, Lior Refaelov, Thomas Meunier, Bernie Ibini-Isei, Bjorn Engels and Nicolas Castillo are all on the sidelines for the visitors, while three or four more are due for late fitness tests. Their overall record in England is poor, losing on nine of their 11 trips and failing to win in the process. Belgian teams have won just one of their last 31 away games against English sides in Europe. It's important to view the good form and position of Brugge here in context. Most of the good results they've got lately have come at home and it's obvious that they struggle on the road - even against lesser Belgian sides. A perfect example is the second qualifying round against Greek side Panathinaikos beating them 4-1 on aggregate to setup this tie. The first leg was in Greece and despite going a goal up and the Greeks having a player sent off, they still ended up losing 2-1 and had to win 3-0 at home to advance. I watched extended highlights of that first leg and there looked to be quite a few young players in that team and nothing that should really worry United. Manchester know full well that their results have been better than their performances thus far and will be keen to win this by as many as possible and avoid an ambush in Belgium. This is a perfect chance for Rooney to wake up and get in the goal scoring rhythm again and lead this side comfortably into the group stages. Manchester -1.5 AH 1.95 @ Bet365

Molde battered them as expected. Celtic were more dominant than I perhaps expected, don't know how the hell they only won by 2 should have been 4 at least, missed penalty near the end confirmed a pretty frustrating result.

Since there is no appliable thread i'll post my bet up here: I think it's worth opposing Steaua. They are arguably the best team in Romania but are yet to score this season. They lost the SuperCup final by 0:1 and after this disappointment, instead of bouncing back at home to Petrolul, they only erached to a goaless draw..I think this negative result might affect them badly and they may suffer a lot away from home against the in-form Slavakians. As,Claugol highlighted in the Romania thread,Steaua are favourites for the title once again but seem to be a slow starters.Trencin on the other hand have accomplished a historical finish to the season by winning the league.(home record 15:1:1!!!)Their teriffic forms seems to be continuing with them firing on all cylinders during the pre-season.Bet365 are offering odds against on the home side which I find to be very attractive given that Steaua didn’t have the best way to start the season..Trencin 0AH @ evs with bet365.GL!

Semi final 1 preview: 4pts Chile vs Peru - Over 2.5 goals 7/5 Betfair Instead I’ll look to the goals market where over 2.5 goals looks a big price. These two have probably been the two most attacking sides in the competition and both have shown vulnerabilities in defence. Four of their last five meetings have gone over 2.5 goals and we could well be set for another one here. Copa America: Chile- Peru With Brazil, who have always been a bogey team for Chile out of the competition and Argentina facing a rematch with a Paraguayan side they struggled with at the group stage tomorrow, things are starting to look hugely promising for the hosts, but with that comes added pressure, the level of expectation is through the roof and now, failure to reach the final will be seen as a bit of a disaster and if Peru can hang on in there early, they can use that to their advantage. Peru have looked very well organised at these championships and were comfortable quarter final winners over Bolivia, ahead of which I wrote ......Peru have looked very solid keeping Colombia and Venuezuela scoreless and Brazil at 1-1 (after two early goals) for 87 minutes. They do not have any real weaknesses, look good in defence and midfield and have three veteran forwards in Paolo Guerrero, Jefferson Farfan and Claudio Pizarro who are all the wrong side of thirty and playing in what might be their last major championship, the trio have all played at the top level in Europe and have 60 international goals between them and can find a goal and one might be enough, to edge this. Peru feel they are improving and have more to offer and I would have been very keen on them for this if they were not without captain Carlos Labatón and defensive midfielder Josepmir Ballón, who are both suspended. That kind of tempers enthusiasm, but they are in their 7th straight Copa quarter final and will be looking to at least equal their 2011 3rd place finish. They were not adventurous enough in the semi final against Uruguay that year and I feel they will have learned from that. They were 2-0 up inside the first quarter of the game, had a whopping 27 attempts on goal (hitting the woodwork twice) and Paolo Guerrero scored a hat trick, before Bolivia made the scoreline respectable with a late consolation goal, it was an impressive victory and this is a team on the up and improving game upon game. Chilean centre back Gonzalo Jara is suspended after putting his finger where it should not be put (!) and the hosts conceded two goals at home to the US in the only start he has missed in 2015. Mexico are the only team who have really taken the game to Chile in this competition and they scored three without the cream of their offensive talent and if Peru are prepared to have a go, I can definitely see a goal or maybe two for them and I am very keen on the "away" team with the handicap start. Peru use both flanks well and could create havoc in the box, with a big aerial advantage over Chile and I have to take ..............1 Peru +1 ball 2.03 asian line/Sportmarket. Gary Medel and David Pizzaro ended the Bolivia game in the middle of the backline for Chile, they are each 1.71m tall, Guerrero and Claudio Pizzaro are both 1.84m + and this could be a real route to goal for Peru, who are a very tempting 6.5-7.0 general quote to score twice ("over" 1.5 goals) , how about something small on that.....

Colombia are missing their two defensive mids in Sanchez and Valencia. Sanchez in particular has been credited with nullifying Neymar in their 1-0 win and also a while ago given the plaudits for keeping Messi quiet in a 0-0 with Argentina. Important part of the pitch and may swing the run of play heavily in favour of the Argies who have been threatening to hit form in the tourney.
