Re: Group D: Italy vs Uruguay > Tues 24th June Urgh! I had a card bet in 2 of my bets after reading this in the morning and now just realised the information is completely false! Brilliant. -
Group E - Switzerland v Ecuador > Sunday June 15th
roveruk replied to Aidymac's topic in World Cup 2022 Tips & Predictions
Re: Group E - Switzerland v Ecuador > Sunday June 15th I don't think we will see him start again this tournament. He was awful. Didn't look interested and touched the ball about twice. Many were surprised he started ahead of Sefereovic and that goal should see him start the next game. -
Tottenham Hotspur v Cardiff City > Sunday March 2nd
roveruk replied to Aidymac's topic in Premier League Predictions
Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Cardiff City > Sunday March 2nd Don't really understand that bet considering Adebayor is at evens to score anytime....without needing spurs to win. -
Re: Serie A > January 11th - 13th Pinnacle have over 2 and 2.5 at odds of 2.1 which sounds a lot better/safer

Re: May 13 - May 20 Well yes, you say he had his enemies but apart from a few (including myself) getting a little peeved off with his celebrations after winning a bet...I am yet to see anyone pipe up on here, in public, who actually wanted him banned.

Re: May 13 - May 20 I absolutely 100% agree. I don't actually think I've won a tennis bet since his ban. He found VALUE and had good reasoning. Not all but a vast majority of the other tips here are 'hunches' with terrible value and poor reasoning that can be easily picked apart. It's an absolute shame but I can't bet on tennis anymore and I used to love reading IMLOVINGIT's previews. They all filled me with confidence to place a bet whereas the majority of the remaining tips are 'what ifs and maybes'. I fully expected to lose some of IMLOVINGIT's bets of course, he is no god, but I felt he provided me with excellent tools to make a decision. Other tipsters here don't and it's costing me. Does anyone know if he has gone to a different website?

Re: May 13 - May 20 Yes, we should take notice of you...however...in my opinion many of your picks are devoid of value. The odds are way too short and you will simply lose in the long run.

Czech Republic > Gambrinus Liga > 2011/12
roveruk replied to jovinco's topic in Other European Leagues Football Predictions
Re: Czech Republic > Gambrinus Liga > 2011/12 :wall Apologies to anyone who followed that tip. Absolutely disgusting performance from both sides. I don't actually think the Bohemians players knew they were getting relegated until the 80th minute and even then they didn't threaten...against 10 men. Teplice also played for a point. So Bohemians now need to win 13-0 on Saturday and need Ostrava to lose. Good riddance -
Czech Republic > Gambrinus Liga > 2011/12
roveruk replied to jovinco's topic in Other European Leagues Football Predictions
Re: Czech Republic > Gambrinus Liga > 2011/12 FK Teplice travel to Prague today to take on a Bohemians 1905 side who are fighting for their lives. A loss today and Bohemians are back down in the 2.Liga. Bohemians have been truly awful for months now and look completely like a team way out of their depth. In my opinion it was the move to Eden stadium from their own ground and the fans boycott that followed which unsettled the club in a catastrophic fashion. Historically one of the best supported clubs in the country, known for playing exciting football have become a dull team with a leaky defence and a complete inability to score goals. Teplice themselves have their own share of troubles at the moment as I'm 99% certain they will be without a manager in 5 days time after the Petr Rada scandal in which he seems to have signed a secret pre-contract with Slavia Prague to be their manager next season. He denies any betrayal and the club say they have rejected an approach but we all know what that means and he WILL BE Slavia manager by the end of the month. After that news broke at the weekend I wasn't expecting much from the home game with Dukla as I thought the players motivation would be shot but Teplice crushed them 4-0. I watched Petr rada's pre match presser yesterday and he said they are going to fight hard to win their two remaining games (Bohemians and Ostrava) to ensure that they can't be accused of anything in the relegation battle and also to ensure they finish above Mlada Boleslav in 4th. There's no denying that Teplice have had a good season and the players do play for Rada so maybe some of them are turning it on even more now so he takes them along with him to the famous Slavia Prague. Teplice is not a great football club to play for in terms of money and conditions and the majority of the squad would jump at the chance to go to Slavia. Teplice have been relatively tight away from home and have had their fair share of 0-0's. If this game was a few weeks ago I wouldn't have touched the overs but Bohemians have no choice but to attack tonight. Lose and they go down. They played for a point against Sparta on Sunday and ended up losing, offering absolutely nothing in attack. Today, at home, in front of a big crowd, they have no choice. They might nick a goal but I think they will be too exposed to the counter attack and this is where Teplice players such as Petr Dolejs, Vondrasek and Cajic can really hurt Bohemka. Bohemians 1905 vs FK Teplice - Over 2.5 goals at 2.25 with William Hill - 6/10 -
Czech Republic > Gambrinus Liga > 2011/12
roveruk replied to jovinco's topic in Other European Leagues Football Predictions
Re: Czech Republic > Gambrinus Liga > 2011/12 Agree with the majority of that but I would be very careful backing Sparta Prague. They do need to win but they needed to win on Sunday and although they got there in the end it was very unconvincing against a poor Bohemians side. Sparta have a good team on paper but they aren't clicking yet and whilst I think they will be a force next season, this season is a little too soon. They were comfortably beaten in the cup final last week by lowly Olomouc and today they are up against a very capable Dukla team who have had a great season. I disagree with you about motivation. I think Dukla will be WELL UP for this game. Their is a great hatred between the clubs and Dukla have performed well in all games against Sparta and Slavia this season..not even conceding a goal. They will see this as a glorious chance to upset Sparta by stopping them winning the title. Sparta also have doubts over Leonard Kweuke and whilst I don't rate him he is very important to their goal scoring capabilities. Dukla lost 4-0 in Teplice on Sunday but I think they had one eye on today's game. Dukla to ruin Sparta's title chances for me but I'm not confident enough with any selection here so it's a no bet for me. -
Re: Blackburn v Wigan > 7 May It's all over for Blackburn tonight. Many people are expecting them to come out fighting and to take it to the last day but I can't see it myself. The reality of the situation is that Rovers will be playing in the championship next season and I don't think I have ever seen a club more deserving of it. Yes, Blackburn can survive another few days with a win today but let's get real for a minute here. Even if they win they also need to beat Chelsea away next week. They need to score at least 7 goals without conceding and they need QPR, Bolton, Wigan not to get anything from their games. It's clear and I think the players have all but given up. They have been toothless for most of the season and last week against Spurs was a new low. Ewood Park will be like a time bomb tonight. As soon as Wigan score a goal the fans are going to erupt with protests and produce a hugely negative atmosphere. Wigan have the quality to break a suspect Rovers defence which has shipped 15 goals in the last 7 games. Rovers will have no option but to attack even after conceding a goal and I think this is where Wigan can punish them on the counter attack and score again. If Wigan were already safe I'd go for the over 2.5 goals but seen as they have a massive away following travelling to the game (including quite a few Burnley fans) and the fact they can confirm their safety with a win plus their recent form and attacking quality. I simply can't see them not scoring at least 2 goals tonight and Blackburn deservedly going down with a whimper. Wigan over 1.5 goals at 2.2 with StanJames - 8/10

Re: April 30-May 6 :D I bet Chelsea to win the FA Cup 2-1 and Andy Caroll to have a goal dissalowed in the 82nd minute at 745/1. But I didn't put it here, sorry.
