Said for Lens a system bet at 9/4. (13/5 with some no-name firm on Oddschecker).
-
First half goal boosted to evens (tenner max) with Hills in Plymouth v Leicester. May or may not win but I'd say definitely value.
-
Kaufmann 5.5 on exchange (even 4/1 best bookies price) also a system bet (nearly missed him).
-
Vertessen at 7/2 (or maybe more on exchange) a decent looking bet for Union Berlin. Just landed an 8/5 winner in a B2 game that was still value at that price despite being as big as 5/2 with good old 365. Hopefully that signals a transition from my midweek form (abysmal) to that from last weekend (doubled the YTD profit in 2 days). We shall see!

Might be worth a bet on Gloucester's no. 8, Zach Mercer to score v Ospreys in tonight's Challenge Cup quarter final. Has scored the first match try in 2 of his last 3 outings (against Castres and Leicester). 7/2 with skybet.
I'd second the sentiment on that one. Sub 2/1 almost everywhere else, if I applied my system approach it would be 13/5 at most.

Another day where I fail to trouble the scorer.

I can't see myself hitting 4 any time soon 🤣
The bore draws were great especially as it is easier to look at potentially low scoring matches.
Really it's a bit of fun and I'm enjoying tracking it on here.
Not sure if those two are the only winners you’ve hit so far from 60 selections. If so, there’s obviously a huge amount of good fortune in them being in the same bet. I’d be noting all the individual winners to monitor the returns to level stakes singles. If you’re able to beat the odds backing as singles then it suggests the Yankee approach will be profitable long term and you just need to be patient. If not, then your long term expectation is negative barring a huge slice of good fortune.
I appreciate that it’s largely a bit of fun with a tilt at a big payout but it wouldn’t be that much effort to keep a note of the odds of any winning selections.

Henley e/w FRL at 50/1 (6 places) - gets me a fiver matched freebie
De Chambeau e/w outright at 33/1 (8 places) - using the freebie
Might’ve got that the wrong way round!

75p return (should be £1.50 if Ladbrokes did double odds)
Reluctant as I am to take issue with an accountant on the subject of maths, surely that can’t quite be right? Doubling the odds wouldn’t quite double the return, e.g. 3/1 becomes 6/1 so you get 7 x stake back (not 8 ) instead of 4.

Two for tomorrow morning; Tuala at evens and Best at 7/4.
Best lived up to his name so one from two so far. Three for the second of tomorrow's games.
Mam at 9/5, Tabuai-Fidow at 31/20 Cobbo at 27/20.
All much better with 365 who continue with their stupid pricing model of blindly offering best price about pretty much everyone and banning anyone who places a bet. Probably not a popular opinion with many on here but it would gladden my heart if they went out of business tomorrow. Admittedly I'd forgive them if they offered me my account back with sensible bet limits but overall I'd say the way they operate doesn't deserve to succeed. They're not the only one but they're the worst in terms of careless opening prices that they aren't willing to stand proper bets on from anyone with the vaguest ounce of shrewdness. Rant over!

After goalless draws for Ipswich and Leeds and a 1-0 defeat for Leicester the latter's game in hand may take on even more significance. You'd have got a decent price about the opponents clean sheet treble I suspect. The odds suggest they'll all pick up three points this weekend but you never know. Or do you... let us know your thoughts and bets here.

Could make a case for Latte Lath for Boro at 5/2 but as I can't get that price I'll leave him.

Bets 1020 to 1023 are same again for 8 points each in both of tonight's CL games.
