Canadiens/Bruins UNDER 5 (-115) Montreal beat the Bruins last night in Game 6 and have a rare back-to-back playoff game for the seventh and deciding game. Despite being outshot 32-27 the Canadiens held on to a 2-1 victory over the Bruins with two powerplay goals (both 5 on 3 goals). So far 4 of the 6 games have gone under the total (which has been set at 5 all series long). Also note that the UNDER is 3-0 in all 3 games in Boston with totals of 3, 4 and 2. One of the very strange stats in this series is the fact that Boston has yet to score a powerplay goal, as they are 0 for 19. We could have expected to see some difficulties from the Boston powerplay, as they were converting just 15% on the season, but I don't think anyone would expect them to go without a powerplay goal six games into the postseason. For the most part Canadiens goaltender Carey Price has been outstanding in this series to continue on the great regular season he had. Scoring should be difficult to come by in this game 7 with Price and Thomas between the pipes. The UNDER is 30-11 for the Canadiens on the road this season, and 27-15 for the Bruins at home on the year. Also note the UNDER is 6-0 in the Bruins last 6 home games and 7-2-1 in their last 10 games as a favorite. Unless one team blows up I think we can expect a tight checking a low scoring game. Take the value on the UNDER here in game seven. -

gonna follow you on this one.A legendary clash tonight when Manchester United face Chelsea to win a place in the Champions League semifinals. Many things can change, but such encounter will always be of high importance and the spirits will surely be high in the air. It's about honour and fans, it's about "who is who" in the Premier League and of course - the highly awaited ticket for the semifinal is at the stake. Only Ajax and Inter Milan have previously managed to overturn a first-leg home defeat and get through in a similar case, and no matter how odds are set, I think that most football fans can safely state that United have got the first chance tonight. As a Red Devils fan, I will be hoping that United get a good match and don't make any silly mistakes. However, as a bettor, I have another choice for tonight and let's talk about in the next paragraph: I take the over. I don't care that Torres hasn't scored for 648 minutes. I only know he's a super-striker and this can happen anytime. The Blues are not all about Torres anyway, they've got class and so many reasons to score tonight, and defending the 0-0 starting score won't pay the "bills". On the other hand, United have got one of the best attacks in the Premier League, with this guy Nani playing the season of his life and then Chicharito/Berbatov and Rooney always creating danger. None of the two teams has a very solid defence while both teams can easily score. The circumstances are also such created that Chelsea will have to play pushy right from the start, which means United can hit on the break. So all in all, I can smell good scoring opportunities for both sides and this total, 2.25, is not exactly a true reflection of what I think will happen. Re: NHL April 2011 Tampa Bay Lightning @ Carolina Hurricanes –HURICANES TO WIN (-163) – The Hurricanes can clinch a playoff spot tonight with a win over the Lightning, or will be in if the Rangers lose this afternoon to the Devils. The Lightning have locked up 5th place in the East and this game is very much meaningless to them. Back up Mike Smith will be in net for the Lightning and I expect them to rest any players who have minor injuries (Victor Hedman) in order to gear up for the Stanley Cup playoffs. Cam Ward has been exceptional lately for the Hurricanes posting a 5-0-1 record in his last 6 starts. The Hurricanes are averaging over 3 goals per game at home this season and 4 goals per game in their last 5, while only allowing 1.40 goals against per game in their last 5. Although Tampa will try to bring some intensity, they won’t have near the motivation as Carolina who should be in a do or die scenario at home. Look for the Hurricanes to ride this momentum and book themselves a spot in the 2011 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs with a win tonight in front of a rocking home crowd.

GOM = HURRICANES To Win (-145) Atlanta pulled off a big upset as +200 dogs last night in New York beating the Rangers 3-0, but are in tough against the Hurricanes tonight. Carolina sits 2 points out of eighth place in the Eastern Conference with a game in hand on the New York Rangers. The Hurricanes are coming off a 3-0 win on Wednesday night at home against the Red Wings, where Cam Ward stopped 42 shots for the shutout. The Hurricanes have won 7 of their last 9 games fighting for the postseason. Cam Ward has played exceptional allowing 2 goals or less in his last 5 starts and has only one game in his past 9 starts with a SV% below .900. Not only has Cam Ward been great, but he is getting some support. The Canes have averaged 3.20 goals per game over their last 5. Carolina has won 4 straight road games and are 17-6 in their last 23 games as a favoite of -110 to -150. The Hurricanes love playing in Atlanta as they are 23-7-3 in their last 33 games in Atlanta. Also note they have taken 4 of the 5 meetings between these two teams this season. Like I had mentioned, the Thrashers played in New York last night, and they are just 3-8-3 with no days of rest on the season (1-5-1 in their 7 games with no rest after a win). Also take note the Thrashers are coming home after a 5 game road swing. Atlanta is just 2-5 in their last 7 home games following a road trip of 7 or more days. They have been one of the worst teams in the NHL in the second half, going 12-25 in their last 37 games overall. Carolina is a focused team right now and they are determined to make the playoffs. Cam Ward is on top of his game and that is bad news for this Thrashers team. Returning from a long road trip on no rest, I can't see the Thrashers matching the energy that Carolina will bring. I am laying down on Carolina on the moneyline as my Game of the Month with confidence. I have a feeling that this line will be moving against us, so get on it quick if you're playing the GOM with us.

Devils didn't win in Dallas almost nine year and today is a great chance to do it. The Devils have won 7 in a row and are 9-0-1 in their last ten,Dallas Stars have dropped 4 straight and 8 of their last 9 games and still playing without their leading scorer Brad Richards who is injured. Devils will stick with Hedberg in net, who has won 7 straight starts and allowed just 8 goals in those starts. GL Devils @ 2,30 -

The players are still wondering about whether they will be a part of the A-League next year, and some have already lined up moves to other clubs. For many, they are playing for themselves and their careers, and not the team, and they now have to go to Adelaide, facing a side that stopped a slide and had an emphatic 4-1 road win over rivals Melbourne Victory. They will be in good spirits to beat NQ who have lost their last 5 away games, and did not score in any of these games, conceding 10 goals in total. Adelaide still have second spot to fight for, and expect them to continue to focus on this. They did beat them 2-0 in Adelaide last month, scoring both goals in the first 20 minutes but then took it easy for the rest of the game.
