  1. Very tempted by Havant and Waterlooville on the spreads. They are 35-38 on the goal rush so need to score 4 goals to make a profit. Spreads are dangerous and obviously a 2 pound bet and no goals could result in a 76 pound loss. I will probably do a covering bet onHavant to score 0 and to score 1 at good prices. Agree that they will be going for 3 goals to go top and might just go higher in view of Dartford having the relatively easier game to play at the weekend. Surely the busy schedule will catch up with East Thurrock.

  2. Really fancy Folkestone Invicta to comfortably beat Aylesbury Utd in the F A Cup. Not the bravest selection at 2/5 but Folkestone are in great form and having read up on them they are making positive noises with over 400 at their last home game.

Aylesbury are struggling in their league and have only had wins against the basement teams including an away win in the big quackico derby against Aylesbury FC. This is not the Hercules Aylesbury of days gone by and they do not even play their home games in Aylesbury.

Would be interested to get any feedback from Folkestone fans but my contacts in Aylesbury tell me that they would be amazed if Aylesbury got any kind of result.

Will probably go for the ht ft at 11/10 and have a few throw away pounds on some big scorelines.

  3. Difficult one to call this but what was interesting was the fact that Ainsworth rested a few of his stars against Newport and only brought them on when they went a goal down. .Am surrounded by Wycombe fans at work and am told on good authority that Ainsworth rested the key players because they are desperate for the £60,000 the club will get for winning the game. What Ainsworth has done on his budget is remarkable and he is destined for bigger things in the years to come. Would have been tempted by the Wycombe goal rush with the spread boys but the quote of 27-30 is prohibitive. Wycombe would need to score three goals to make a profit and Stourbridge seem to be on a pretty decent run themselves albeit a few leagues lower.

Not the most original comment you will get on here but ultimately a no bet. I  cannot see a giant killing here in view of Ainsworth's comments and the current fantastic run of form of the Chairboys.

  4. absolutely top information from a very knowledgeable non league punter. Did the 5-0 5-1 6-0 6-1 7-0 and 7-1 and landed a very profitable 80/1 shot. Lucky to be honest as only do these every now and again and when it was still nil nil never even checked the second half goings on so a pleasant surprise when getting in this evening. To be honest I would not know any of the players but what made me go for it was when I went on the Poole FC twitter account and saw the teamsheets and Gosport had only named one sub. Anyway thanks again.

  5. Does anyone know how bad the situation is at Halifax. Must admit I am not sure about their new manager and fancy doing the Altrincham goals on the spreads. 15-18 is the spread on the goal rush bet. Need 2 goals to make a small profit and just thought it might be worth a few quid if they are ripe for another tonking. To be fair the last time Altrincham scored more than two goals at home was at the start of the year but the logic behind this bet was more based on the ineptitude of the current Halifax squad and Altrincham getting confidence from the win over Barrow? Any feedback from Addpea et al would be appreciated.

  6. Re: England > FA Cup > 8th - 10th November Yes the buy on spreadex is 28 but the only concern is the ref who is S Martin and his stats on soccerbase do not look promising and does not appear to be the most prolific yellow card man. Saying that if I am reading the stats right on the guardian touchline site Northampton have averaged 2.6 yellows away from home. Am sure I will get tempted in by kick off. BTW was at Boreham Wood yesterday to see an inept performance by the ref, my team the mighty Cumbrians and some jobsworth patrolling the away end. Have bought the goal minutes of Francis at 4 with unsporting

  7. Re: England > Weekend > FA Cup 4th Rd Qualifiers Oct 26-27 You must be putting big money down on the spreads. I tried getting on total goals at 3.1 and they did the old sneaky review of the prices and upped it to 3.2! Thanks for the above info. Always fascinating to read especially re the spreads. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than taking money off Unsporting. Hope your predictions are up to their usual high standard. I note the supremacy in the other game is now 1.55

  8. Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Mar 29-30 On the basis of Braintree having their fixture congestion I have bought the Kiddie goal rush at 25 with a covering sell of a Kiddie win on betfair at 1.49 and an investmenton Kiddie not to score on paddy power at 6/1. Will do the 1-0 home win as well. Hope this makes sense and this bet is one hoping for the max 6 goals on the goal rush but it covers most worst case scenarios. 4 goals plus for the home team and you are starting to make good money but a nightmare performance is covered just in case.

  9. Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Jan 26 Thanks for the Eastleigh heads up. Was always planning to get on them with the pre season confidence and their excellent home record. Followed it on twitter and was mighty relieved when they hit back straight away after conceding. Totally agree that the price was well off the mark bearing in mind how tight the league is and their respective home and away records. Also did the 3-0 3-1 4-0 4-1 5-0 5-1 spread so pleasing when they got the 3rd. 17/1 went down well. Only got 9/5 with PP on the match odds. Does anyone know how far it dropped down by kick off ?

  10. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Nov 20-22 Sadly did the 5 6 and 7-0 and 5,6 and 7-1 on Saturday in the Altrincham game. 200/1 with PP only £1 stakes. Dare not look when they got the eighth. I guess the 8-0 was over 300/1. To be honest I have never done the 8 before but even so was very distressing and will be seeking some counselling over the forthcoming days. I see tonight the 7-0 is 55/1 but I suppose I will give it one more go.

  11. Re: Scottish Football > 5-7 October Stirling V Rangers Any spread punters on here? Spreadex have price up Rangers goals at 33-36 on the basis of 0 goals 0 points 1 goal 10 points 2 goals 20 points 3 goals 33 points 4 goals 50 points 5 goals 70 points 6 goals 100 points Having read up on Pie and Povril a lot of Stirling fans are fearing the worst and a bit of a hammering. Yes Rangers are not doing well away from home but surely thay will rattle in a few goals soon. The worried Stiring fans are saying the relatively new ground, decent pitch and dodgy Stirling goaly and team could result in a few away goals. Am tempted by a buy at 36 ? Also interesting that the 3 league games in Scotland have bookings set at 34-37. Anyone aware of any psycho refs who could dish out a few cards. Peterhead can go a bit mad and have an average of 3 booking a game so far. Just wondered if this was an error by Spreadex to price up the three games when they only meant to price up the Rangers booking market ? Seems strange that they are the same spread and that no other lower league games have been priced up on the bookings?

  12. Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet Prem Sep 15 Cheers Shipup for the call on Lincoln. You drew me into the goal minutes bet on Oliver which was a 70point gain with Unsporting . Had a dabble on the goal rush so thanks again. Great informative reviews as always. Did Fylde at 8/11 but didnt want to recommend another short price on here. Bit annoyed as none of my accounts offer the correct scores on the Northern Premier. Big fan of the 4-0 4-1 5-0 5-1 6-0 6-1. Sods law as the only non league game I did was Altincham. 2-0 at ht and it was looking good but must not get greedy. Thank you again much appreciated

  13. Re: England > Midweek > Northern and Southern Prem Sep 3-5 North Ferriby v Worksop 4/6 home win Apologies but I know nothing about the team news but I just fancy a home win. North Ferriby by all accounts could have had a lot more away at Rushall whereas Worksop had to rely on two late goals against an average Stocksbridge. North Ferriby played well at Fylde and interest is the fact that Worksop have their FA Cup game on Friday evening which is a big ask with 3 games in 6 days. I stand to be shot down by the people who actually know what they are talking about on here but fancy the home team to be too strong. There you have the lightweight preview. Any comments from the experts here would be appreciated !

  14. Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Sep 1 By the way there didnt seem to be much interest on here with the live FA Cup game last week. Uxbridge absolutely hammered them in the replay. Agree with Addpea that the Wembley heroes who were brought in made it difficult but I must admit the goal rush at 15-18 was a no brainer with Uxbridge. Watching the game what was interesting was that the bookies still had Wembley favourites in the first half although it always seemed clear that Uxbridge with more pace and from the higher league would come on strong in the second half. Must admit the two late goals were a bonus but these games are always interesting when the spread boys do not know any more than the punters. Interesting that they did not offer prices on the bookings in the replay which was a bit of a blessing as I think I would have got suckered into a cheeky buy. In the end I dont think too many yellows were shown. In hindsight the draw in the first game was a sensible option as you wonder whether the two chairmen gave each other the nod on a cheeky draw with the tv rights from the replay to come! Scurrillous rumour but it did cross my mind , sadly after the final whistle!!
