    Welcome back. Lockscombi will be most likely your only host for this years Nrl bets. If anyone has the balls to perhaps help a brudda out that would be most appreciated. I've been a little slow this year but I'll try to get my bets in early in the week. GL & Gamble irresponsibly. Mel -11.5 @ 1.92 SB = Manly are woeful and the storm are 10x better (at least) Eels + 8.5 @ 1.92 Pinnacle = Call it a hunch but I have a feeling the good eels will turn up this Anzac day weekend Cro @ 1.95 Pinnacle (Sry has dropped since Wednesday) = BEST BET seriously Sharks in form and Panthers are injury depleted Can +10.5 Pinnacle / 0.5u h2h @ 3.7 Pinnacle = Canberra in fine form and the bunnies struggling and missing halfback

    Right, I got 1 bet right last week and that was my UPSET pick. Jesus Christ lucky I don't do this for a living otherwise I would be homeless! Regardless I will try my very best to make some money back this week :) man -8 @ 2 pinnacle dogs -6 at 1.92 SB nq -12 at 1.92 = reports that the Titans had a flu outbreak this week. JT is in form and the cowboys always end up finishing the back end of the season strong saints @ 3.45 = This could go either way seriously, Dragons in form and roosters unpredictable this year canberra -2.5 @ 2.9 = Shaun Johnson out for warriors which is a huge loss for them new -2.5 @ 4.4 1/2 unit = good price and could go either way wt -2.5 at 4.15 SB = once again this is a upset pick. tigers at home hopefully to bounce back strong! gl

    Re: NRL Rd 12 I've done some optimistic (perhaps chaotic) value bets this round.. 1/4u PYOL eels -7.5 @$5.20 Sb = Hayne is out but I don't see any value Penrith -6. I still think the eels are the real deal this year and have a terrific forward pack 1/2u Canberra @$5.23 pinnacle = Yes the Roosters should win here but with a few players backing up after origin and the Good price on Caberra I can't refuse 1u NQ -16.5 pinnacle = Storm have the big 3 out. This is devastating so this line should be covered easily 1u Manly -6.5 @$3 sb = Manly should dominate plus some salary cap clouds over broncs 1u Rabbits -12.5 = Dragons with a struggling Benji should be eaten alive here. DANGER: If Benji somehow returns to form this bet might be turned upsidedown but I doubt it. gl

    Re: NRL Round 11 I totally agree saintg1, Roosters, warriors should win as well although I put a cheeky 1/4 unit bet on dogs -6.5 @5.5 on sportsbet PYOL (Pick your own line) only because the chooks have been dreadful this year and they are up against one of the best coaches in the league (Des Hasler)

    Beware, origin time so could be a few upsets.. WT @2.3 & -4.5@3 = Both WT and Brissy are depleted so I'll take the youthful home team. West Tigers have grit. Can -6.5 = NQ have everyone out, and I mean everyone. Even Ricky Blew it can smell a good chance here SS -8.5 & -16.5 = Cronulla suck this year, now they have their best players out so they should suck even more. All bets with pinnacle or sportsbet gl

    West Tigers @ 2.15 Pinnacle sports 2 Units= With Carney and Fafitta out for Sharks and Farah, Anasta and some others back this is pretty s8 forward for mine North Queensland @ 2.05 Pinnacle Sports = Pearce suspended and nq on a roll, Thurstan playing great Penrith -2.5 = Ricky Stuart's Canberra, need I say more? Didn't end up betting on it but I think Eels -4 has some value v Dragons gl

    I've decided to be a bit more cautious going forward with my NRL bets. It's been very hard, hardest year yet. I'm down 30 units already and this has been the worst since I started betting on Rugby League 4 years ago. Every year I finished with a positive ROI. I guess this this is what pro gamblers mean when they say variance. I've decided to only put bets on favourites if I see value by 20 cents or more, and underdogs if value is better than $1. Hopefully this will work out. Following my new rules I see absolutely no value on this weeks games. gl

    Storm -7.5 at pinnacle Rabbits -1.5 at 1.99 pinnacle = Hoffman and Thaiday out for Brisbane and Merrit axed (Which is a good thing) Sharks -1.5 at 1.92 = Sharks have quite the strong forward pack and Toupo is back and maybe Lewis eels at 2.83! = Am I missing something here anyone? I have eels to win by 6 and they are the underdogs?! dogs -6 BEST BET = Newcastle are struggling Happy Anzac Day Gamble Responsibly (Unlike me)

    Christ! What a poor betting performance last week. This is why I should only place half bets at the start of the season! Oh well let's try to make it back :) Dogs @3.23 Pinnacle = At over $3 this screams value to me. Big forward back against a underperforming chickens outfit. Beward SBW is back and make a mockery of this bet Eels +8.5 at 1.95 Pinnacle = I like how the eels are playing. They now know how to be consistent even. Hodges is back for brissy which might be trouble but hey I'll take the 8 and a half start War -4 at 1.91 SB = BEST BET The sharks have major injury woes and their will to win any games this season must be very low. Warriors good things Raiders +6 at 2.02 Pinnacle = Penrith are good but so are the travelling raiders pack. I will give Ricky Blew-it until mid season before they crumble like every other team he's coached. Dragons at 2.2 SB = SS are in trouble I think this season. They have been very poor of late. In contrast the Dragons are playing some superb Rugby League and that man Josh Dugan watch out.... Mel -10 at 1.92 SB = This is just good enough imo. They are very tough down there Manly -5.5 at 1.92 SB = Manly have grit. They seem to win even when they play like S*. They should cover 5.5 surely! On a side note. My best wishes to Alex Mckinnon's friends and family. One part of me thinks this is only a horrible accident, and another thinks that having upto 3 fully grown men smashing you from above is a disaster waiting to happen. It's a touchy subject. If you take away players from a tackle then more offloads will occur.. This kind of situation I feel is unavoidable unfortunately. Gamble Responsibly
