You were right, anything can happen, and it did.

I've decided to bank £200 and carry on with the remaining £25.57.
The other half was sitting next to me and mentioned the lecky bill, she was paying some off which made me feel a bit guilty lol. It takes a lot of the excitement off going back down to £20 but it'll be another challenge trying to get it back up.

Been thinking about this a bit and might as well dump my thoughts to stop them rattling around my head!
On the subject of bookies v exchange I think you'll get a better price on the latter more often than not. Worth checking as if the price is the same then might as well play with the bookie and avoid commission. But in the long run I suspect an exchange only approach would do a lot better than bookies only. (Tonight's selections in this thread can be had at 1.06 and 1.08 and that's without seeing if you can get matched for an extra tick.)
On the subject of doubles then there can be a benefit (if you've got an edge then multis will increase it) but it's slightly academic if you're following an all-in staking approach. As tonight's 2 selections overlap they can't be doubled up on the exchange so taking worse odds is the only way to play the double. But, if your games are at different times you might as well do singles at the best price you can find and roll the return over onto the second bet.
I'm glad some profit has been banked in this thread as I think there's been a degree of good fortune to go this far without hitting a bump in the road given the average odds being played. However I'll happily eat my words if the winners keep coming so easily!

To my mind you are correct in your interpretation.

Put in a few already in the other thread, sadly this one fell short by one. Onwards and up hopefully... 😁

Year end total is 817 bets with a "what's the bloody point" profit of £64.49!
I'll work out what that might have looked at had I rolled over an initial stake but it's entirely academic as it wouldn't have possible to get that sort of money on. Essentially this thread is now progressing with bets where I'm the only person on the planet who has been able to get the bet on but it's rarely possible to get more than a few quid matched.
Should hit the 1000 mark before Easter assuming I can avoid the eventually inevitable freak losing result.

And who doesn’t love a surprise at Christmas!
Saw the thread, thought you were starting a new campaign, had a quick look and promptly forgot all about it.
I’ll revisit it tomorrow. In the meantime, season’s greetings to you too.

I wonder if we could entice the powers that be to offer some form of a prize for a 'One goal ' competiton.
Just a few simple guidelines to be put forward and we could have an event. What do you reckon ?????

Bets 791 & 792 are same again in Burnley v Liverpool with stakes at 6.36 for 1+ and 5.36 for 2+
Forgot to post the 4 bets in the 2 games at 3:00; I'll never make the 1000 mark with that sort of sloppiness!

Hi, good luck with the thread but please do not edit any posts containing selections. Use the “quote” option if you need to correct anything.
Whilst moderators can see what has and hasn’t been amended it can create the impression for everyone else that results may have been doctored.

70 go through to Week 2. We lose 8 players but it could have been a whole lot more if Liverpool didn't sneak a win.
