I agree with your comment about the draw, I think the horse will be so far behind at the bend and will probably go wide! By that time something will be gone and away! It’s not a horse that breaks well either! I would price it up at around 8/1. Good luck though I hope I’m wrong for you! I’m not backing against you or for that matter not at all.

Still useful and took this last year and been running ok without winning at higher level this year.

2:50 Curragh DYNABEE 16/1 PP
Lot to like about latest run behind Snowy Winter last time. This yard gets improvement with every run and now yard also coming to form,

Many thanks
Hopefully some kept the faith, thankfully the weather has been a lot more consistent this past 6 weeks and that has probably made the difference.
I know some follow the top tracks thread and we turned that around from a £400 loss into a £900 profit with just £10 stakes.
Just got to keep hold of it now

The horse racing tips have had an indifferent period despite being well in profit, but @BillyHills changed nothing about how he makes his selections and that takes serious discipline and belief that the tide will turn.
July saw a record month of profit, touching nearly £5000 from £20 stakes, which is awesome!
Myself and @BillyHills have been on PL since the T-Rex was roaming the planet, but I've always said he IS Punters Lounge and a lot can be learned from him, along with plenty of other PL members.
Spreadsheet results will be updated later today.

1:55 York ALPHA DELPHINI 5/1 Coral 9/2 General
Has run well in defeat all 3 starts this season and comes here 3lb better off. Solid Claims today.
3:45 Chester MIDNIGHT WILDE 7/1 Bet365.
Comes here stepping down in Grade after a excellent run in Ulster Derby last time trying a new trip. He got going late in the day and stayed on well. steps up in trip again and if this brings a bit more improvement to the table he could be bang there at the finish.

1:50 Windsor KIMIFIVE 6/4 WH Bet365
Can see this flip flopping with Tivoli before off. Won with a bit in hand last time here on Monday and is in good form. Drop in Grade from last week and with Tivoli probably better over 7 than 6, this could be a quick fire double on this Course.

9:10 Newcastle ORIENTAL LILLY 10/3 Bet365
Best for last as they say.
Gets a 3lb penalty for last weeks win on turf. It was a competitive event and she is in very good form. with 3 victory's on AW she must take some beating in this race.

Humbert 6/1 PP
Cracking race for a Thursday afternoon here and a very competitive look to it. I fancy Humbert to get back to winning ways after a slightly disappointing 5th last time at Wetherby in a another valuable handicap. He went for home to soon on that occasion and I think connections will have learnt from that. He was well backed that day in a deeper race and goes here off the same mark, Danny Tudhope replaces the injured Miss Gordon.........

Lol good luck on these!
I to am flicking between football, got stung on my Morocco bet!
I’ve found only 2 bets today that I’m willing to put my own cash on.
3.00 York - Weekender at 13/8 without Marmelo. I’m being cautious as I’m not sure how good Marmelo is? I don’t see any other dangers with Time To Study held especially over shorter!
3.15 Sandown - Via Serendipity 11/2 - what a price on this horse who can go on this ground. Beat Salt Whistle Bay on worse terms. I do have Gossiping on my watch list but it’s still a bit high in the weights so I’ve got it alarmed for another few pounds drop in my opinion. I’m actually going a hefty bet on this one. May be cautious and do it eway! I’ve given up on Almoreb!

Poets Society 11/4 bet365
Mark Johnston does well here at Goodwood and looks to have found a good opportunity for the consistent Poets Society. He looks sure to be able to dictate here and can bag the rail. His last win was off this mark and the young lads 7lb claim gives him a bit of breathing room.

Wistari Rocks has not seen a lot of racing, but returns to the track on a good mark with Richard Johnson on board and He also runs really well when fresh. Could be a interesting runner

8:40 Ponty HIGHLY SPRUNG 12/1 Bet365, Coral, WH, PP
Highly Sprung comes here with a little to find on form book. He has had 2 runs for Les Eyre's since switching from Mark Johnston. He is however a bit better over 6 than 7 and is a C/D Winner, and yard is in Form. Going E/W as he does carry more Negatives than Positives but everything in place for a good run.

Brighton 5:10 NUTINI 9/2 Bet365
2nd win last time when winning here and returns again in good form. Started season at Windsor and ran very well after been stuck behind a wall. Only carries a 3lb penalty for this and the Fav Zapper Class needs a soft surface to show best. Nutini has a good chance to follow up and he must rate better than Zapper.

That 3.40 at Ripon is one of the races I looked at last night before moving on because I couldn't make my mind up
My concern about the Fav, Gurkhas, illustrates a general pattern that I look for and being 'general' it might not apply in specific cases. But in general I'm not keen on horses that slide down the weights over a period of time, reach a low point, win, then go back up again. Gurkhas reached 94 a year ago then took 7 losing runs to get back down to 83 and to win again. Now he's back up to 91. I think of these horses as 'long term decliners' ……… in decline but eventually get down to a mark off which they can win then they go back up and start losing again until they get back down below that winning mark …….. because basically they're still in decline …….. so he might not win again now until he gets below 83
If he did have a medical problem which has now been solved (the ulcers) then maybe there's an excuse for his decline and he might be able to get back up to the 90s again in which case he's still well handicapped …… that's a judgment you have to make with whatever knowledge you've got,.. it's not an exact science !
But anyway for today ……. I'd rather be on Dawaaleeb

This is more Realistic than the Group 2 she ran in at Newmarket last time on fast ground. Ger Lyons said he was looking forward to running her as a 4yr old. She has not many miles on clock and could have plenty of improvement in her

405 Chester
Kachy 6/4 Hills
Despite the wide draw I think Kachy will be hard to beat here. He is perfect for Chester and has won here twice previously. The yard love to have winners here and this will have been the plan for sometime.
