  1. Re: UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifiers > Saturday March 28th Iceland -0.5 @ 1.8 Medium Stake (Macauslot) Iceland should be up for it today as this is their first chance since 1999 to qualify or a major International tournament. Their opponents after Kazhakstan will be Netherlands and Turkey so I don't see any reason for them to take this match vs the Kazahks lightly. The Kazhak's also haven't played well against any decent opposition since I can remember so I will gladly take a chance with Iceland here. Bulgaria +0.5 @ 1.9 High Stake (Macauslot) I have a rule and that rule is to never bet on the Italians. There is just something about the national squad that doesn't lay right with me. Adding in the fact they are pretty much already qualified and can do with a draw here and it's a no brainer. The Bulgarians will fight on their home pitch regardless of who the Italians bring out. Croatia -1/1.5 @ 2.05 Low Stake (Macauslot) The Croats have been covering handicaps without much trouble and now that Mandzukic is back in the squad and game is in Croatia, I will gladly take this short handicap with a low stake just in case the Croats decide to take it easy today.

  2. Re: November/December 2013 On paper I would agree with the backing of our Czech friends to win Davis Cup Finals, but please never underestimate the heart of Serbs in an event like this, playing in the capital with thousands of Serbs chanting your name and pushing you forward. I for one will not place a future wager on this tourney but will back the singles matches in one way or another. And don't sleep on Ilija...he's proved he can play when most needed. I just hope Zimonjic brings his A game as it seems his form has fallen over the past year or so. Also worth mentioning (if I remember correctly) the draw vs. USA in the quarters? also came down to doubles match when Ilija/Nenad took out the Bryan Brothers in an absolutely epic match.

  3. Re: Zenit Saint-Petersburg v FC Porto > Wednesday November 6th

Feels like Trap bet here to the under.. No idea but i'm tempted to take over 2.5 goals for some reason. Maybe there is expert who can explain it to me, but both of these teams need points to advance, and I believe that Zenit will attack this game and we should see wide open game. My confidence level is 1 out of 10
I was on the o2,5 myself, and am incredibly surprised this did not hit the 3 goal mark. Porto: 21GA, 11 ON GOAL, 12 OFF GOAL, 5 GK SAVES Zenit: 12GA, 6 ON GOAL, 6 OFF GOAL, 10 GK SAVES

Also considering a chance on 2-0 Nadal over Ferrer which is priced at around 1.7. Ferrer should be pretty much spent after his recent run. I just think the man has got go run out of juice eventually and this may be that moment vs Nadal who pretty much handed Ferrer the semis match in Paris. Not sure what to make of the Joker/Fedex match-up...maybe overs? I'd like to think Fedex is going to give Nole a solid game but dont think he has enough to win.
Think we all cashed in with Nadal today. Thanks Rafa!

I would probably want to stay away from that match' date=' the odds seem to be about right to me. If pressed, I would go for Peya/Soares as well though.[/quote'] Good call staying away. Peya/Soares lost in the third set, mainly due to mistakes from the Australian. I don't regret taking a chance on them at + money though...it was a close one. Might follow you on that Dodig/Melo tip, odds seem a bit off to me and would be a great combo killer for the bookies.

  7. Re: November 4 - November 10 Nice call on that doubles match Czech. What do you think about Peya/Soares to take out Paes/Stepanek in the doubles fixture? Price is just above evens at my shop and I'm considering giving it a go. H2H is 1-1 with the win for Paes/Stepanek coming during an impressive run in the US Open (this after beating the Bryan brothers in the semis). I don't think the duo has played together since, while Peya/Soares should be better conditioned as they just played in Paris and areare coming off a finals loss to those same Bryan brothers.

  8. Re: October 28 - November 3

Thinking about going on Benneteau -1.5 games vs Nishikori. Nishi not in prime fitness and Ben playing in front of home crowd.
Remind me to never underestimate the Jap, no matter the circumstance. His performance vs. Tsonga yesterday was superb as well. I hope he makes it far in the tourney. Anyway, tough card today. Not seeing much besides Marin to maybe steal a set off Del Potro so 2-1 CS to Delpo or overs in that one seems like an optimal choice. I know some are pulling for the upset but even with fatigue on Delpo's end I do not see him losing to Marin at this stage. Also considering Haas to knock out his countryman Kohlschreiber. Haas's last ATP match was a loss to Kohly himself in Valencia and I can see him pulling the revenge card in this one (as are the books, pricing him at 1.67). Also a punt on Federer to cover -4 games vs Anderson. I can see Roger coming out hard and taking care of business early in this one.
  9. Re: October 28 - November 3

Good one! I did'nt really belive it myself but Sijsling looked scared on the court. To mutch respect for the taller Cilic. He did'nt dare to go for shots. Looked hesitatingly when going for winners like smashing the the ball into the net in second set as if he did'nt know how to end the point when it looked so easy. To many options and the guy hesitates and smashes it into the net being broken at same time. Really no guts this Sijsling guy. Looked so small on the court like he was some junior player.
I watched the first set and thought Igor played pretty well actually. His serve was on point and he was attacking the net every time. Don't know what happened and why he decided to tank the 2nd. Cilic really just outplayed him in the final set as he was playing with more heart and ambition. It helps when you have the legend Goran Ivanisevic in your corner.
  10. Re: September 16 - September 22 No talk about Metz final with Tsonga and Simon?! Match of the day me thinks. Expecting Tsonga to continue his dominance over Simon on this turf (unbeaten). Straight sets win for Tsonga 2-0 priced at 2.25 looks appealing but with low stakes as Thonga played two 3-setters to get here while Simon cruised through in straight sets his last three.

  11. Re: FK Austria Wien v FC Porto > Wed 18th September

Not sure about this one. I know Austria are a strong attacking team in their own league. They are frequently outclassed in Europe' date=' and this could well happen in this game, although Austria did surprisingly win in Zagreb. As Austria tend to be an attacking team at home, I think this match could well go 'overs'.[/quote'] Beating Zagreb is nothing to boast over. Porto is at least a few classes above them IMO and should be able to outclass Wien. 2-0 or 3-1 for Porto is my prediction.
  12. Re: Copa Libertadores 31/3-2/4

Xcout - great tip mate just wanted to ask you one question: What is the advantage in altitude here? I see altitude for Monterrey, Mexico 537m and altitude of Sao Paolo, Brazil 760m. So they are really going to a lower altitude - not higher - which means no advantage at all for Monterrey in that sense...?
Like I said - Monterrey had absolutely zero advantage in that match. They were lucky to get by with a draw. :spank
