Carter and Gary Wilson would be the outsider picks for me but at 200/1 i'm also going to take a very small bet on Jackson Page. He plays like Brecel did last year. All-out attack. He'll either lose easily or just go on a great run.

yeah, a winner in the handicap at least. Just the one more for me today. O'Connor to beat Selt. I think that O'Connor should be the favourite. He has beaten some top names this season and comes into this after a 10-1 win over LeClerq.

I think Heathcote has a chance today, against Bingham. I would have liked Slessor to get the better of it for my treble but he missed the black to go 9-9. Nevertheless, he is playing some good stuff and I expect it will at least go close.

Love the Lincoln ....first big puzzle of the season .....interesting race result ...this race tends to go to young horses but both top two are 7+ ..... Interesting that Johan is top rated ....he doesn't race much now ....maybe two or three times a season but when conditions are right (8f soft )he's still a force to be reckoned with ...he will get that saturday so excellent value in 14/1(I'll probably go 10pt Ew once I'm sure running ) and 5pt Ew Dutch and blues  .....but of fun to start the season off 🎉

load of rubbish for me today. Heta losing to Hurrell was the final straw for me really with an 83 average. Shocking stuff. Infact I think most of mine lost to duffers.

yep, can see the angle with Clayton. He is getting close. I'm going with a few but low stakes looking for a big price.

the top half is wide open now. I suppose Littler has it open for him but Heta beat him recently and Cullen is bang in form at the moment. Bottom half still has Price, Humphries and Cross in it, for De Decker so it will be pretty difficult for him to get into a final. He hasn't hit a decent average yet.

Here's what I'll be going with. Just as a sidenote, DVD is a player I want to keep an eye on between us all in the coming Players Championship. He looks primed to get back into things. I'm not sure he can win this weekend (50/1) but one to keep in thoughts
