  2. Re: It may all end tomorrow Think you might have been a tad unlucky with that one Ralphie. It drifted all day on Betfair like it had 3 legs, think you were beat before it got to the post to be honest. Unfortunately these days you have to win twice, first find one thats trying, then win the race. Or has it always been like that? Keep going mate, better luck tomorrow.

  3. Re: Cheltenham Tipsters Comp. Update WFTE, Yes thats right, trying to treat bets as if placed in bookies. I think its only fair that you get the chance to replace them, but on the other hand we must have a cut off time, or we will get reposts all afternoon. So as long as the NR's are replaced up to the 2pm deadline, thats ok, if people cant get back online to change them then they wont be deducted any points. I still think you should be deducted points for not posting, as someone could get a big lead on the first day and then sit back and see if they can be caught, this way it will cost them points for doing that. I'll amend rules to make it clear. Thanks mate.

  4. Re: Private Tables at Bet365 ? Found this but its casino365 not Poker365. ________________________________________________________________ MULTI-PLAYER GAME FEATURES The games in casino365's multi-player gaming software share these features:

    • Game resolution (800*600 pixels)
    • Direct X is supported for maximum performance.
    • Up to 4-5 players can join a single game, and can chat together online.
    • Private tables allow players to play alone or select the players they'd like to join.
    • Players can observe games without participating.

HOW IT WORKS - A GENERAL DESCRIPTION Once you have entered the online casino, you can easily check the guest book to see if any of your friends are currently in the casino and the games in which they are currently participating by clicking on "Guest Book." In the Guest Book you can select a player that plays a multiplayer game and join their game by pressing the "Go To Table" button. You can also go back to the game menu to select your game. When you enter a game room, some tables will be occupied while others will be free. If a table is marked "reserved," you must ask permission to enter. The player that initially opens the table has the authority to grant permission or deny access to new players. If you find all the tables occupied, simply click on the arrow in the upper right corner to move to the next game room. _________________________________________________________________ Cant find anything on normal site?

  5. Just an update on the Competition being run through the Cheltenham Festival. Below is a list of entries recieved so far, anyone can enter right up to the time of first race on the Tuesday of the Festival. Just add to the bottom of this thread. No entries will be taken after that time. Everyone will have had enough time by then so no excuses for being late. We now have a £30 prize for the winner up for grabs.

    CHELTENHAM TIPSTERS ENTRIES

Format as follows; Select 3 horses each day of the Festival. 10pts win on first selection 5pts win on second selection 5pts E/W on third selection Total 25pts to bet on each day (100pts in total) This way we get to pick our 'nap', 'next best', and best 'E/W' value bet. At the end of each day I will settle all the bets and produce a league table. All bets will be settled at SP All Each way bets will be settled at 1/4 odds for this competition. Points will be deducted for losing bets, and stakes included in the returns, so for example; Bet 1 1st Sel. Winner 4/1= 50pts 2ndSel. Loser = -5pts 3rd Sel. Placed 10/1 = 17.5pts Total for day = 62.5pts Bet 2 1st Sel. Loser = -10pts 2nd Sel. Winner 3/1 = 20pts 3rd Sel. Winner 6/1 = 47.5pts Total for day = 57.5pts Obviously if all three lose you get -25pts. If anyone doesnt post tips for any day they will also get -25pts for that day, this is to encourage posts. All posts must be submitted by the 'off' time of first Cheltenham race on that day. Any bets after that will be treated as if they didnt post ie; losers. This is so everyone is on a level playing field and to prevent tactical placing of bets. Anyone who may be unavailable for any of the days can post their selections in advance by starting a seperate thread and i will pick them up. If anyone has selected a Non Runner they can replace this selection only, as long as it is before the time of the first race of the day. Anyone who is unable to replace a NR, will not be deducted any points. I reckon thats all the rules we need, nothing too complicated. With all the top tipsters on this forum we may be able to come up with the 'Punters Lounge' Nap of the day and make some real cash out of it. Cheers BH.
  6. Re: Ludlow 03:20 Yes Ralphie, i must admit i looked at this animal after watching it last time out and noting it down for a future race like today (weather permitting) The only reason i've left it alone is Henderson has two in the race, cant work out why the French Jockey is on the more fancied of the two, i know he rode it last time to victory, so maybe thats all there is in it, but i'd like to know if Fitz had the choice, if he did then Star Prize is a good value bet at 10/1, can see it going off shorter myself.

  7. Re: Horse racing odds history Bruise, can you be a bit more specific, do you need just the winning sp's or first three or a complete show? I'll have a scout round later, i know some 'pricey' computer systems that go back 5,10yrs with form and they include the sp's of each horse usually. Not sure how that would help.

  8. Re: Cheltenham Tipsters Competition Good lad Russ, i knew you couldnt resist, anymore flat mates, wheres Belly and Brookes? If its ok with the mods in this forum i'll keep it in here. More non-DHRC entries will be in and it wont get confused with the Daily one.

  9. Re: Punters Lounge IV Tournament Just recieved this; ______________________________________________________________ Hello Graham, Thanks for your patience and note. Lara Paradise Tournaments _________________________________________________________________ At last, sorry about the panic. Register from 5pm

  10. Re: Punters Lounge IV Tournament I have now sent 4 emails and keep getting replies that are not much use. They say your querie will be passed on to the department concerned. I even went back onto the Tournament submission page and re-applied for the tournament expalining this was just a copy of a tournament they had on Thursday morning. Last resort emailed the marketing department and still awaiting reply. Have a funny feeling this aint going to happen. Really sorry if this is the case, but ive done nothing different to any other time and thats been sweet thus far. I'll obviously let you know anything else as soon as i do. BH

  11. Re: Cheltenham Tipsters Competition Yes, good point Bowles, All bets will be at SP, and regardless of 'bookies' rules all E/W bets will be 1/4 odds, i think most bookies pay that anyway at Cheletenham. Places paid will still apply as per bookies though. i.e; 5-7 runners 1-2, 8-15 1-2-3, over 16 first 4. Non handicaps first 3. Good response so far so looks like we'll go ahead, thanks for the offer of help, i'll shout up if i get stuck, but i'm off work that week so should be organised. Any other things i come up with i'll post here for discussion. Thanks again BH

  12. Hi, just had words with Jezza about the password drama of the last tourney. I've slightly changed it for this time hoping to shake off those idiots that joined in before. We both agree that they dont visit us here and just hover about Paradise and hope to gatecrash there way in. With that in mind we think that its ok to put it on here for you guys and ask for it not to be given out to anybody unless logged in to this site. If anybody asks on Paradise, please ignore them. Tournament: PLoungeIV Password: punters4 Just a word, i havnt had confirmation about the tournament being accepted yet and it is not appearing on the menu at Paradise. Getting a bit worried now so have emailed customer support to see whats happened, they replied instantly and said they were chasing it up. I'll obviously keep you in the picture. Cheers BH

  13. With Cheltenham fast approaching, just wondered if anyone would be interested in a 'fun' tipping competition. Cant offer a prize, only the title of 'Champion Tipster' and bragging rites on the PL. Suggested Format Select 3 horses each day of the Festival. 10pts win on first selection 5pts win on second selection 5pts E/W on third selection Total 25pts to bet on each day (100pts in total) This way we get to pick our 'nap', 'next best', and best 'E/W' value bet. If anyone has selected a Non Runner they can replace this selection only, as long as it is before the time of the first race of the day. I reckon thats all the rules we need, nothing too complicated, it is just for fun. With all the top tipsters on this forum we may be able to come up with the 'Punters Lounge' Nap of the day and make some real cash out of it. Anyway i'll leave it with you and see what the response is over the next week. I'll also put a thread up in the Daily Racing Forum, for those that dont visit this one. Cheers BH

  14. Re: Suggestion - Provisional PL Tournament Calendar Yes Norfolk, i think this is the way to go, it saves all the posts asking who's available and then changing at last minute. If we all know well in advance than noone can have any complaints, and obviously everyone wont play every tournament but at least we can try and rearange any other commitments to suit. See what Jez thinks but i'm in favour.
