  1. Re: Norwich City v Everton - Sat 17th August Norwich signed a few decent players but if Everton can keep Baines and Fellaini then we should just about win this. Norwich's new signing Leeroy Fer looks a good buy and we were after him, but Fellaini is better and will control the midfield with Darren Gibson, new signing Kone should hopefully link up well with Jellavic who has come back into some pre-season form thanks to Bob Martinez actually giving his some playing time and not favoring Anichebe like Moyes did. BTTS and Everton win is my bet though.

  2. Re: Liverpool v Stoke City - Sat 17th August

liverpool have made some shrewd signings and they have potential to get the champions league place this year.
...and the tooth fairy is real mate. Going for a Liverpool win here as Stoke have Mark Hughes as their manager, and have not signed any big names yet. If Pulis was still in charge I'd have gone for a draw.
  3. Re: Manchester United v Liverpool > Sun 13th January Man Utd win, and BTTS Both teams raise their game for this match every season, but with Utd being tough to beat at home, and they also have the best player in the league in Mr RVP this is a 3 pointer in the bag for the red devils. If pool start Sturidge and Suarez I can see them falling out with each other as both tens to shoot when better options available. Can see utd winning either 2-1 or 3-1 with Suarez anytime goal scorer. Liverpool beat a few of the bottom clubs and they suddenly a force in the PL and talking about top 4 is just plain silly IMO.

  4. Re: Man Utd v Liverpool > Sat 11 Feb HT/FT Draw/Man Utd Small Stakes Man Utd win Large Stakes First half both sides will play tight and try to not concede. After a good dresing room talking to the Utd squad will come out all guns blazing and win it, therefore keeping their title hopes alive. Man Utd have the home advantage and will Suarez be able to take the heat from the home fans. De Gea made a great save from Mata freekick so his confidence will be elevated. Either way we in for a good match :clap

  5. Brock Lesnar v Alistair Overeem Putting my money on Brock Lesnar. This fight will come down to Lesnar's wrestling and natural genetics against the kick boxing skills of Overeem. I recon Lesnar will take him down and pound him to a bloody mess on the floor. 7/5 with BWIN atm. Scaled_php.jpg

  6. Re: England: Premier Nov 26-27 Liverpool V Man City Gotta go for city. Liverpool have a knack of beating the big clubs but I feel they will come unstuck this weekend. City are virtually out of the CL, so will want to win the Prem League, Aguero was virtually rested mid week and will be on fire this weekend, plus Liverpool still missing Steveie G. City already demolished Spurs and Utd this season and I fully expect them to beat Liverpool. City to win at 17/10 Stan James or Hills City -1 4/1 Paddy Power

  7. Re: Horse Racing £5000 - £25000 in a year.

Primevil, I was also at the game yesterday and although not a Liverpool or Everton fan, I feel the Everton fans are getting a little carried away with the result. They were dominated in the first half, got not just one but two lucky breaks for their goals, and then failed to kick on having established a lead. If Liverpool are as bad as the blue half believe them to be, then how or why did you let them back into the game? The heady heights of a supposed "top 4" challenge must seem like awhile ago now. I'd definitely be taking Liverpool to finish above Everton in any match bet either for this season or next, especially with Dalglish and Steve Clarke at the helm, and as I say I'm no red (Newcastle fan if you must know!), just an observer.
I am 100% Everton. We are poor but so are the vermin. I'd be happy this season if Liverpool do not qualify for Europe, finish 8th-20th and lose Reina and Torres. They are not a big club anymore and live in the past. Lets say they finish 8th and no Europe, will their best players hand around, maybe Gerrard, but Torres and Reina will go due to no European football. Reina could go Arsenal or Man Utd and win things Torres could go city and maybe win things. Who will they attract player wise then with no Europe, no one-well no one good anyway. Kenny Dalglish will probably stay on as manager as no decent manager will go there-they not going to get a top name as their reputation would be over managing them. They are bin dippers and I hate them so much. I have been waiting for this time to come for many years now. We will overtake them in the next few years. Lets see if the attendance figures start to fall, cant say its a protest against Hodson as he now gone. Goodison is full every time we play, and we been bad for years.

Primevil I'm fairly new to the Forum and may well be a mug but I believe - (a) You've placed the bets you say you have; (b) You know your stuff; and © You have been a harshly treated by some of the posters. However, more than all that I'm most of all sure that chasing losses is a horrendous habit to get into. I've been there. It becomes an irresistible urge and only ends when the money runs out. I think you are meantime on the road to ruin. All in all Good Luck but seriously be careful. :) NGS
