Re: Whip Abuse - Would you change the rules and how? Matt Chapman was having people send in emails about their opinions on the Whip in yesterdays 'Get On' show, Someone emailed in and said, " Hope the whip doesnt get banned at my local massage parlour". However , on topic, i think the whips are cushioned enough not to hurt the horses and the noise of the crack is probably what spurs them on.

Re: Paul Nicholls the punters pal! Apparently on RUK tonight Angus McNae reported that PN had said that Zarkander had had an abcess in the mouth and that Big Bucks didnt eat up on Monday, but all was well with them now, take that how you will , positive or negative or just covering his back.

Re: The Grand National Fences
No other course has the National Fences although ths Cross Country Courses at Cheltenham and Punchestown have a Spruce Fence like the National onesThanks. I'm having trouble finding the foxhunters using the RP results search. Is it ever referred to as something else? Also does anyone know which particular races at courses other than Aintree use the 'National' fences, or is it just random? -

Re: COMPUTERISED OUTSIDERS I like this thread Tony, very good for putting some good priced horses together in Lucky 15s, sometimes 3 or 4 winners in double figures are advised, i dont back ew so miss out on the place parts but a decent payout on a L15 is on the cards. thanks

Re: Harlequin. when i worked for Corals in the 80s we were asked to devise a new bet, a lad names Chris Green won , he works for the Tote these days, as he invented the 'Astro'. 88 bets, 8 horses, top 4 in a lucky 15, bottom 4 in a lucky 15, middle 6 in a heinz and all 8 in an acca.
