I totally agree, it's an awful idea. Only 2 places to go up and the team that finishes 7th could possibly have one of them? And the way it works with the disadvantage to the team that finishes 2nd is ridiculous. If they are going to have it, it should be done so the 2nd place team is guaranteed to play the lowest placed winner from the 1st games, not set in stone that they place 4th or 7th. I'm very glad we're out of it!

You must be the only non FGR fan who wants them to win! I hope they never get in the league and Vince keeps wasting his money. Tranmere deserve it and I think they will do it although on a neutral pitch I am not sure the prices should be so far apart so no bet for me. Chorley already overcome Kiddie so maybe they will do the same to Halifax although they are the right favs. Ebbsfleet were never fan owned as such more a website with 25k members. That ended a few years ago now and they have rich Asian owners who want to build a big theme park next door to the ground. They blew it against Maidstone last season, but they should do it here although again the price is on the short side.
So no bets for me, but it has been another hugely profitable season both on the match betting front and the ante-post front. Looking forward to the summer off and then we can do it all again

Maidstone at 2/1 against us is a ridiculous price. We've got results despite the tiredness the last few games, and some of the players are definately in need of a rest. And I saw first hand on Saturday night that they weren't sat with their feet up preparing for yet another game! The job is done now, and I'm not sure how up for a trip all the way to Kent on a plastic pitch the Lincoln players are going to be. And that's before you even look at Maidstone current form. I'm shocked they're that big.

I've never been happier to be wrong! It's ours to throw away now. I wouldn't fancy the play offs, especially psychologically having been top for pretty much the entire 2017, but after tonight you'd hope we don't throw this away.

I really hope I'm wrong, but I think Tranmere at evens is a great price. They are in brilliant form, and even when they don't play great they get a massive slice of luck or late winner from somewhere. They must feel invincible at the moment. Forest Green just aren't at it, and I can't see Mark Cooper getting them up for anything at all.

For me tomorrow night is the biggest night of the season so far for Lincoln's title hopes. It's a three horse race for the title now, and after tomorrow Lincoln and Tranmere could be level, or there could be a 6 point gap. Looking at Tranmere's upcoming fixtures, you can't really see where they are going to slip up anytime soon after the trip to Barrow is out of the way, so the pressure on Lincoln to win at Braintree before having 2 weeks without a League fixture is immense.
Lincoln have won the last 10 meetings again Braintree, and Evens usually would definitely be getting some of my cash going on it. However with the pressure on the game, and the fact that the goals seemed to have dried up in recent weeks (despite only conceding 1 goal in the last 5 games), i'll be keeping my money in my wallet. I wouldn't tell anyone not to back us, but it's not a certainty at all that we'll win. On the plus side, we have signed Lee Angol today, and also with the re-signing of Jonny Margetts last week, hopefully we can start scoring again very soon.

We'll be making plenty of changes again at the weekend, but even with 6-7 changes in the Trophy so far we've looked good. I wouldn't tell you not to back us, but I wouldn't be taking it personally. We certainly won't be going there to draw with the horrendous amount of games we've now got to play in the next 2 months!

No, I assume Boreham Wood haven't agreed. Replay is the last thing we need, I'd rather us just kick it in our own net in injury time if needs must!

Ha ha Lincoln are about all I know nowadays, out the loop with the darts and don't play that much now. Hope you're well!

It's hard to know what Tuesday night will have took out of us, but another almost full ground will help. Put a gun to my head and I'll say we'll win, but how we cope after Tuesday, plus the fact that Dover seem to have our number and have won the last 3, I wouldn't be risking my money.
The only bet I'd recommend is Sean Raggett at 33/1 first goalscorer, or 11/1 anytime goalscorer. Both with William Hill. He's got 6 goals from centre half already this season, and we signed him from Dover earlier in the season which they weren't too happy about. I'm sure he'd love a goal tonight...

I'm a Lincoln fan. No we don't have a big squad, so leaving some key players at home as Cowley has said he's going to leave us very short. He hasn't said which players, but other than maybe 2 or 3 who haven't played quite as many games as the others, I can't see him risking many who will be starting against Ipswich on Tuesday, especially as there may be extra time too.
Although looking at the weather, I'd be surprised if the game was even on.

More for info than anything, but as Lincoln have 3 massive games in a short space of time after the weekend, they are making changes for the game at Gateshead. Will be mostly fringe or players who are cup tied for their FA Cup replay 3 days later, with a few youth team players also in the squad. Price for Gateshead has come in from 2/1 understandably, but 6/5 still might be slightly tempting for some I'm sure.
