  1. Morning Everyone

It has taken me 4 weeks to even come and visit the site, as many of you know and many do not, I have known Paul some 30 years and in that time got to know a man who was selective about the people he chose to be in his life, he loved his punters lounge guys and girls and the numerous poker nights and race days he took great joy and pride in to know he created that, I was more a friend away from this site because truth be told gambling is not my thing as @StevieDay1983 will tell you with my horrendous premier league tips, I am actually very proud of what Paul achieved here and have told him that several times, you all should be proud to because you have help this great creation, on a more personal note I will miss my friend no no my brother, i loved the way he would tell it to me straight if I was being a d**k, also loved the way I could tell him that also, I have spent many a night in the pub (that will surprise you all :) watching mostly football and for a Leeds lad he backed me up whenever I was watching Manchester United in mainly Arsenal pubs in London, away from pubs we would often discuss matters of life always with a sarcastic sense of humour attached to it, I was with Paul a lot over the last months and I would like you all to know that genuinely he did not lose that sarcastic sense of humour he was known for, one of lifes very very good guys, I love ya Paul

  2. Cannot believe I missed the Wolves V Liverpool game :( that said I would of gone for over 2.5 goals so every cloud and all that

Arsenal V Burnley. Are Arsenal having their usual mid season wobble? two defeats in a row, no I don't think they are and they tend to have decent battles with Burnley, I will plump for a home win here with the home team to keep a clean sheet.. BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE, NO @ 37/40 BETVICTOR

Bournemouth V Brighton. this one gives me a headache as i'm not sure which way this will go, I keep thinking Bournemouth but then my head says Brighton nick these sort of games, in the end my Bournemouth head won out and I think a home win. BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE @ EVENS BETFAIR & 188BET

Chelsea V Leicester. Another interesting game and probably another home win for me, Chelsea have lost only one in their last 5 and Leicester are not flying at all, that said I think this will be a close affair and Chelsea to win with the odd goal in 3 so again i'm opting for OVER 2.5 GOALS @ 3/4 BETFAIR, BETVICTOR & 188BET

Huddersfield V Southampton. Southampton had a massive confidence boosting win over Arsenal and Huddersfield have lost their last 3, leaving Southampton to believe they will have a great chance here, but I think a draw is a good bet here so I'm going for DRAW HALF TIME/ DRAW FULL TIME @ 37/10 REDZONE

City V Palace. Cannot see anything but a comfortable home win here Palace a relatively toothless in attack and well City aren't that leads to a comfortable home win and pressure being kept on Liverpool MAN CITY -2 @ 6/5 BETFAIR

Newcastle V Fulham. Newcastle must be thinking this is definitely a home win, once again the owner is talking buy outs and although it shouldn't it affects the players, I think Fulham will come and attack here and this for me will be the correct move, i'm going for a shock (will it really be a shock) away win. FULHAM TO WIN @ 3/1 WITH VARIOUS BOOKMAKERS

West Ham V Watford. Some very what I would call even games this week but can't forget that the hammers have won 4 on the bounce and by beating the teams that were around them they have moved up to 9th, there is not a lot to seperate the teams in the table and I think there will not be a lot here either. so I think SCORE DRAW SO BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE @ 11/17 REDZONE

Cardiff V United. Now what to make of things at United?? I won't get in to it here to long winded, I think if Cardiff go for it a 'shock' is on the cards, and there is no magic wand at United to make them an attacking force straight away, so i'm plumping for a home win. CARDIFF TO WIN @ 11/2 BET365, BETFAIR, UNIBET, BETFRED

Everton V Spurs. Another tough one here everything says to me Spurs will have to much going forward I can see a real end to end battle developing with Spurs just nicking it so OVER 3.5 GOALS @ 2/1 BET365, BETFAIR, BETVICTOR, UNIBET & 188BET

THAT CONCLUDES MY CHRISTMAS PREDICTIONS, WHETHER YOU CELEBRATE OR NOT HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMASS EVERYONE AND SEE YA BOXING DAY :):):) :beer:beer:beer

It's a weird one, Roy. Some of our fans were naively thinking we'd have United if Mourinho had stayed but I wasn't convinced. He seemed to thrive playing against fellow sides that play gritty football. I think if we can kill the game, as negative as that sounds, then Solskjaer has always come across as a manager with little versatility. One of his main problems at Cardiff was an inability to change the system to adapt to the game. If we were playing them in 2-3 months then I'd fancy our chances but I think the feel good factor in the dressing room will see United play well in spite of Solskjaer's game management. I'm sadly anticipating a 2-3 goal defeat.

Not sure About the Solskjaer appointment to be honest, it is a very strange one and I think a little differently to you here @StevieDay1983 I think if Cardiff go for it they will sneak it, there is no magic wand to be waved at United to suddenly be an attacking force and their creativity is a little low :)

I was going to post this in the standard manager changes thread but felt it was likely to require its own thread. Interested to hear what you all think about this decision? Manchester United were still in the Champions League, FA Cup, and fighting for a top four place. Clearly, there's issues behind the scenes. I can see both sides. It can be argued that Mourinho wasn't backed as he should have been in the summer when he wanted to bolster his defensive unit but you also have to question why the board would let him have millions to spend when he's wasted so much of it.

Just take a look at his signings...

Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Paul Pogba, Zlata Ibrahimovic, Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic, Alexis Sanchez, Diogo Dalot, Fred, and Lee Grant. How many of those players does he pick regularly? For whatever reason, his signings rarely work out and when you look at those names they should.

Personally, I think Mourinho's track record speaks for itself but there's clearly problems with the hierarchy. The club hasn't been the same since David Gill left. That's the real issue. Ed Woodward is repeatedly making poor decisions on the football front. Yes, he might be making a success on the commercial side but United are a shadow of the giant they once were. That's down to Woodward. Is Mourinho blameless? No. He could have helped himself. I think him losing Rui Faria also can't be understated. Not sure Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna have been worthy replacements.

    What do you guys think?

Mourinho Does have pedigree but he also has previous in falling out with players, also when he was spending millions at Chelsea, only really United could compete, now with him at United you have City, Liverpool, Chelsea Spurs and Arsenal all capable of spending big, also I was not happy when they appointed him as my view is he has a short term vision, as a United fan you never leave games early under Mourinho you didn't wanna stay, I find it strange that they appointed Solskjaer for 6 months as interim, it smacks of trying to get Pochettino (which would be a great choice if they give him rebuild time) at all cost in the summer, me I would of selected a manager I wanted, appointed him now and said you have an 8 month pre season to get ready for 2019-20 season, It's a bit desperate there at the moment, and tbh I'm not sure who would want to take the job on,  I think your boys will really fancy their chances this weekend @StevieDay1983

  5. Now that overrated CL Tournament knock out stage qualification is achieved the Premier league takes centre stage until February I for one am pleased with that.

City V Everton. City tasted defeat for the first time this season and they will want to bounce back in style, Everton can be really stubborn but I expect City to come through this one. City Halftime/City fulltime 3/4 Ladbrokes

Palace V Leicester. Palace are not hard to figure out, stop a couple of players and you stop them, Leicester will be happy to sucker punch on the counter and I think that will bring 3 points to the Foxes. UNDER 2.5 GOALS @ 11/17 188BET

Huddersfield V Newcastle. Everytime I think Newcastle will struggle they go and get some kind of result, a match where both teams will be desperate for 3 points and I think that will make it end in a draw. DRAW @ 21/10 BETVICTOR, SPORTINGBET & 188BET

Spurs V Burnley.  Spurs will be buzzing having got Through a tough CL Group. That strangely can sometimes have the adverse effect on the team however I don't expect that to happen to Spurs and I think they will see of Burnley quite easily. OVER 3.5 GOALS @ 6/5 BETVICTOR

Watford V Cardiff. Watford will fancy this one and most will agree with them on that, Like I always say I like Warnock and actually think he is doing an amazing job with the squad and budget he has, I am going for a draw here. DRAW @ 58/19 UNIBET

Wolves V Bournemouth. Finding this one harder than I thought although Wolves are off two good wins and Bournemouth are off of a hammering at home, so logic says a comfy win for Wolves, but if Logic played a part in Football, we'd all be rich. BOURNEMOUTH TO WIN @ 31/10 MARATHONBET, BETFAIR & BETVICTOR

Fulham V West Ham. Well Fulham were very poor at Old Trafford and West ham have won 3 on the bounce so confidence will be high, Ranieri will try and make Fulham hard to beat especially at home but I feel Wwest Ham may nick this with the odd goal in 3. OVER 2.5 GOALS @ 9/13 188BET

Brighton V Chelsea. Brighton have gotten in to the habit of beating the teams around them and them teams that are expected to struggle. Chelsea are off of a morale boosting home win against City and I see Chelsea continuing here. OVER 3.5 GOALS @ 85/40 BETVICTOR

Southampton V Arsenal. I think Southampton are doomed for relegation this year but their hopes are being kept alive by poor form all around them, this seems to be a different Arsenal team this year, little bit of resilience about them although I don't think they will need that in this fixture. I expect them to hold Southampton to nil. BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE, NO @ 8/5 BETVICTOR

SO ON TO THE BIG WEEKEND GAME.

Now those that know me know I don't watch this game for reasons I will not divulge :)

Liverpool V Man United. Liverpool reached the summit last week and they will fully expect to Beat United and stay there but this fixture vary rarely is straight forward and I was surprised to learn Liverpool have not beaten United at Anfield since 2013, now with all that said that run should come to an end this week, I fully expect the negative Mourinho tactics to be in full effect this Sunday and try to go for a bore draw or a 3 point snatch, But I think Liverpool will come flying out and if they get an early goal that should be that. LIVERPOOL HALFTIME/LIVERPOOL FULLTIME @ 29/20 LADBROKES, BETVICTOR, CORALS, BOYLESPORTS & BETSTARS

as always people enjoy your weekend I hope I have been able to help in even a small way, and the darts also starts today, what a good time for sports the festive season is :cheers:cheers:cheers

  6. It's back at the Palace, The William Hill PDC Darts Championships kick off today and it is probably the most open it has been for years, although MVG & Gary Anderson both seem to be in a fair bit of form, and the longer match format suits the more consistent players (I know I know obvious statement) That is why you will find Michael Van Gerwen very short to win the tournament as short as 11/8 at most places though you can get 7/4 about him clinching another title. There are some players that may be worth a punt here and if you spread your bets wisely could come up trumps. here is a little list of players to watch in my opinion.

     he may be worth a

Gerwyn Price has finally got himself a TV Title causing a little bit of a ruffle on the way to it, I like this guy and I like that he doesn't really care for reputation and that can go a long way at the worlds 33/1 at most places although you can get 40/1, may be worth a cheeky EW Bet.

Mensur Suljovic. another player that doesn't care to much for reputation and if he gets it right can cause some major upsets and go all the way, Got some steady nerves on him and can finish a leg in the high % another one worth a little tickle in my opinion, generally found at 20/1 or 22/1

Adrian Lewis. Well Jackpot has been out of sorts with his darts for a while now, but he is slowly crawling back up the rankings and has the winning experience at the Palace, I have put him in here because he is generally 66/1 although I have seen 80/1 To win it outright, now I don't think he will but he may be worth a punt in the matches as they go along.

Daryl Gurney. Superchin throws some cracking darts at times and if he can hold it together could go all the way another one of the players that doesn't seem to care who he is playing however his own mind seems to wander and that is what cost him at a few tournaments. 33/1 Generally across the board.

Those are my 4 outsiders that I think are in with a shout.

  7. Seems like I just finished typing the midweek predictions and here we are again, gotta love the festive football.

Bournemouth V Liverpool. Liverpool are developing the ability to not play so well and win, always handy when challenging for the title, I think they will nick this with a couple of late goals. DRAW HALF TIME/LIVERPOOL FULL TIME @ 4/1 MARATHONBET

Arsenal V Huddersfield. Arsenal would of been a little disappointed with only a point at Old Trafford and I expect them to make amends here, although Huddersfield have improved and maybe Arsenals style will suit them, however a home win is inevitable. UNDER 2.5 GOALS @ 4/7 BETFAIR

Burnley V Brighton. Agree with above statements that Burnley must start to get some points from these fixtures and I think they might this eek, not faulting Brighton and Chris Hughton, they play the right way and I like the guy, however I think Burnley will just edge this. OVER 2.5 GOALS @ 77/50 MARATHON BET

Cardiff V Southampton. @StevieDay1983 How the West Ham game would of been different if that early pen had gone in. A week ago I would of had Cardiff in this for sure, however the new manager syndrome could come in to effect here, amazes me how many teams win the first game of a new managers reign, so I am not so sure on the outcome of this match, this is a loose one for me in terms of betting however i'll go for CARDIFF TO WIN @ 2/1 BETWAY

Man United V Fulham. Surely Surely United will end their run of draws here?? Ranieri will probably set up being hard to break down and United find it hard to break sides down with their lack of fluid football however they have to start winning and the manager may have to stat throwing caution to the wind, with that said there seems to be considerable unrest at United with the managers style, still think they will win though. DRAW HALFTIME/UNITED FULLTIME @ 18/5 MARATHONBET

West  Ham V Palace. Where to start with the if's but's and maybe's, if Cardiff score the pen, If Palace could play the same two games running. I think this will be quite a tough encounter and in a rather cliche way the first goal here will be of paramount importance as both sides wobble when conceding first, think Palace will give this a better go than they did at Brighton, that said i'm opting for a draw here, but a scoring one so UNDER 1.5 GOALS @ 13/5 UNIBET & 888SPORT

THIS IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE FIXTURE OF THE WEEKEND

Chelsea V Man City. With Chelsea's surprise defeat at Wolves and City seeming to march towards the title this fixture is probably beneficial to a team not playing in it ( Liverpool ) the reds will be hoping for a home win or at least a Draw, City do not seem to change their approach to any fixture and this will be no different but Chelsea will be keen to put a dent in City's charge, I think this will be a tough one but I expect City to just nick this also. CITY HALFTIME/CITY FULLTIME @ 21/10 BET365

Leicester V Spurs. Another tough one this in my opinion but Spurs do seem to come up with a way of winning these tough ones at clubs Like Leicester. I think the outstanding bet here is for both teams to score @ 9/13 10BET & SPORTPESA

Newcastle V Wolves. Are the Wanderers finding form again, they will no doubt be buoyant after a superb win over Chelsea and Newcastle too after a hearty point at Goodison, Newcastle are so indifferent and that makes this tough as they will expect to win this sort of fixture at home, and Wolves will think they can get 3 more points here. hard to call for me. OVER 2.5 GOALS @ 38/25 MARATHONBET

Everton V Watford. So Silva and Richarlison  Are up against their old clubs and despite the usual I rspect them etc etc they will bith want to win this one desperately and I think they will do just that, however I expect a battle because Watford will equally want to prove a point. OVER 2.5 GOALS @ 47/50 MARATHONBET

Another weekends fixtures done, good hunting to you all and as usual, eat drink be merry but especially drink :beer:beer:beer

  8. Jeez no rest for the wicked, I'd like to say, I knew Hughes would get the sack if Southampton didn't beat United and can't see where his managerial career goes from here?? Never been impressed with him as the gaffer.

    Gotta love midweek fixtures though.

Bournemouth V Huddersfield. Bournemouth were unlucky not to get a pen at 2-1 down against City an who knows from there, and Hudersfield may have got something if they kept 11 on the pitch, I expect Bournemouth to get through this game though ot may be tougher than they expect. Bournemouth Half Time/Full Time 9/5 @ BETVICTOR, LADBROKES & CORAL

Brighton V Palace. somehow this is classed as a bit of a derby, maybe it's an Eagles v Seagulls thing, Palace will be jubilant after finally scoring from open play and winning at Selhurst and I have a sneaking feeling for an away victory here and I don't know why...................... Palace to win 44/25 @ MARATHONBET

West Ham V Cardiff. West Ham will certainly be expecting to win after their dismantling of Newcastle away, But the Hammers do blow hot and cold and there could be a surprise here at the London Stadium, Both teams to score YES 11/10 @BETVICTOR

Watford V City. There is not a single game where I don't expect City to score at least 3, they just have goals everywhere and always conjure something up, Watford can be tricky at home and do tend to give a good account of themselves, however City will have to Much. City Half Time/Full Time 10/11 @ LADBROKES & CORALS

    Wednesdays Games

Burnley V Liverpool. I don't think Liverpool will be reliant on goalkeepers baring gifts this week, They seem to be stuttering a little but still digging out the result they need, however I expect them not to struggle here and although I think Burnley have got to get a run going soon, it won't be in this game. OVER 2.5 GOALS 19/29 @ 188BET

Everton V Newcastle. How is Evertons recovery after they conceded that shocking injury time winner in the derby, well I think fortunately for them they meet Newcastle team that are easy pickings in my opinion and I think Everton will grab all 3 points EVERTON TO WIN 8/13 @ MARATHONBET & SPORTINGBET

Fulham V Leicester. Ranieri will make Fulham harder to beat and for a side struggling that is well needed, they gave a good account of themselves against Chelsea and I expect more of the same here, Leicester are always prone to nab you on the counter and that is how they will set out, as there ever been a manager that has taken charge of a side and then played two of his former sides in his first two games? DRAW 28/11 @ UNIBET

Wolves V Chelsea. I find it intriguing that when Cardiff were off to a terrible start people were calling for Warnocks head, yet Nuno Espirito Santo with his quite big budget and squad is not having a bad word said what do you think @StevieDay1983?, now that is not me saying Wolves should sack him, no way!!!! The visit of Chelsea will get the Wolves right up for it but again I expect the blues to have to much. CHELSEA HALF TIME/FULL TIME 19/10 @ BETVICTOR

United V Arsenal. Wwell well well, could this be Mourinho's last game? There are rumblings at Old Trafford, Players are not happy and haven't been for a while, Jose said United would be top 4 by January, however he did not say which year!!!! His only saving grace is it will cost United around £11m to sack him and his ego will not allow him to walk.  If Arsenal approach this the right way I see nothing but an away win here, United are struggling to make chances especially in the first 45 Minutes at home and that air of inevitable late goal has long since left Old Trafford, United are there for the taking. ARSENAL HALF TIME/FULLTIME A WHOPPING 17/4 @ BETVICTOR

Spurs V Southampton. A big loss for Spurs at the weekend in terms of them not seeming to be able to close the gap on the top sides, however what a fixture to bounce back on, I can no longer moan about Mark Hughes on here but Southampton are poor, I bet a certain Mr Redknapp is gutted he's in the Jungle, the Saints job would be right up his street again :). I see nothing but a comfortable home win here OVER 3.5 GOALS 7/4 @ UNIBET & BETFAIR

Well that was quite exhausting, no midweek drinks not on a school night :) Happy Punting PuntersLounge folk

  9. I am shocking didn't even realise there was a fixture tonight Shocking. I am venturing away from correctr scores this week, broadening my horizons so to speak

Cardiff V Wolves. Wolves have hit a damp patch and I really fancy Cardiff to get something from this home game tonight, Football under the lights has a different feeling about it. I am going for Draw Half Time Cardiff Full Time @ 15/2 BetFred

Crystal Palace V Burnley. Palace will be buoyant after their deserved draw last week at OT and I believe they will be to much for Burnley at home but only just by a slim margin. Under 1.5 Goals @ 4/11 Coral, BetFred, BoyleSports & BetStars

Huddersfield V Brighton, Huddersfield are another team whose tails will be up after a great win away at Wolves, they will see this as a fixture they can win and maybe should at home, but Brighton will be looking at this as a place they can pick up away points I think this will be a good battle, both teams to score @ 13/10 SportPesa

Leicester v Watford. A hard one to call for me, Leicester at home are hard to beat and Watford can be indifferent could all depend on Watfords approach to the game, will Leicester lure them in before hitting them on the counter which they do so well at the King Power? Watford Half Time Leicester Full Time @ 33/1 with BLACKTYPE

Man City V Bournemouth, I see a stat that in the 6 fixtures between the sides, City have scored 21 and conceded only 2, I don't see the pattern changing much, City are always good value to score 3 or more especially at the Eitihad, so with that in mind i'll plump for over 4.5 Goals @ 13/8 BetFair

Newcastle V West Ham. Couple of indifferent sides here you never really know which Newcastle or West Ham team is going to turn up, and I do not see a goal fest here at all, I hate going for 0-0 so instead I am going to opt for no goalscorer in case an OG wins it, so no goalscorer @ 8/1 bet365, BETFRED & 10BET

Southampton V Man United. I think if the Saints lose to the Red Devils Mark Hughes will be dismissed and that says a couple of things about this fixture, firstly it shows how badly United are fairing because Southampton will expect to win, secondly Losing to United doesn't usually end with the opposing teams manager losing his job, having said all that I expect United to win and win comfortably. Over 3.5 Goals @ 12/5 Betfair

Now am I the only one that gets suspicious that the Premier League Fixture computer randomly throws up these derby fixtures on the same weekend?

Chelsea V Fulham. so Chelsea suffered a heavy defeat against Spurs last week and Fulham pulled off one of them first game in charge wins, it will reverse this week, Chelsea will win and win with ease in my opinion, Both teams to score, NO @ 20/21 BETVICTOR

Arsenal V Spurs, this fixture intrigues me because both sides are doing better than widely perceived, Spurs will be absolutely buzzing after their defeat of Chelsea last week, and Arsenal will be wanting to show that North London is not ready for a change of dominant colour from Red to White, I sit here thinking this is quite a hard one to predict and I think that because I really do believe it depends on how Spurs approach it, I think maybe a score draw here will be the outcome, so both teams to Score @ 1/2 SportPesa

Finally off to Anfield for the Merseyside Derby, a fixture which in recent history especially is heavily in the red half of the city's favour, and sorry Everton fans no change this weekend, Liverpool will be to strong for Everton and I see this being at least a two goal margin so @ Liverpool -1 11/10 SPREADEX

That felt really strange not trying for correct scores but thoroughly enjoyable, I hope I have helped in even a small way if you were undecided, now lets go spank the bookies :):):) failing that see you in the pub to drown our sorrows and tell our hard luck tales

  10. Good Afternoon Everybody :)

Brighton 2 Leicester 1. Brighton are 21/10 to win this one with betvictor I think that is great value they are not a bad side at home with plenty of work, endeavour, and some pinches of quality in there. Obviously Leicester will not be pushovers but I expect Brighton to nick this with the odd goal in three. BRIGHTON TO WIN 21/10 BETVICTOR

Everton 2 Cardiff 0. Cardiff will be up after that win before the international break, but I feel Everton at Goodison will be to much for them, but I don't see a hammering, I edged for 2-0 over 2-1 here which I may regret. EVERTON TO WIN 2-0 6/1 BET365

Fulham 1 Southampton 2. Fulham this month for me have  caught up in that "the manager is not up to it" web that newly promoted clubs tend to believe and fall for, I think the manager change that can so often inspire victory in a new managers first game but I don't see that here, even though Southampton are poor I think they will nick it. OVER 2.5 GOALS 24/25 MARATHONBET

Man United 2 Palace 1. Think United will edge this but they seem to be on wobbly legs defensively, with anyone looking like they can score against them, however I think the quality of United will shine through, Martial has hit a nice little patch of form and United seem to be settling down a little bit therefore I think they will win this one with a nervy finish. BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE 21/20 BOYLESPORTS & SPORTINGBET

Watford 1 Liverpool 3. Now this will be a little tougher than the scoreline suggest, Watford seem to be right up for the big games at home, and I think this could be a bit end to end which will suit Liverpool and their flying forward tactics. LIVERPOOL TO WIN 3-1 12/1 BET365

West Ham 2 Man City 4. Am I being hopeful that the hammers will get 2?? probably but I see City being comfortable say 3-1 4-1 up and West Ham snatching another, City are head and shoulders above everyone with only Liverpool close in my opinion. OVER 4.5 GOALS 27/10 UNIBET & 888SPORT

Spurs 2  Chelsea 2 . On paper easily the game of the week and even as I am typing this I have not put  a score in, I think amongst the big games this season this is probably the hardest to call I think the two sides are very evenly matched and that will probably reflect in the result, I digress as I have still no idea what I want to put. I have ended up going for 2-2 and I am not sure why........2-2 12/1 BETVICTOR, BET365, BETSTARS & 188BET

Bournemouth 2  Arsenal 3. Think another tough one to call here but I see the reds of Arsenal having just to much for the Cherries here, and edging home by one goal in a high scoring game, Both sides like the attacking side of the game more than they do defending and I think this will play a big part in the score. OVER 4.5 GOALS 3/1 BETVICTOR, UNIBET, BETSTARS, 188BET & SPREADEX

Wolves 2 Huddersfield 0. Just because they are at home I believe Wolves will see this one out, Huddersfield are in no rush to score goals it seems and I see no change here, with Wolves attacking players doing all the damage they need to creep back up the table. WOLVES HALFTIME/FULLTIME 11/8 CORAL & LADBROKES

Burnley 1 Newcastle 0. Not the most thrilling of teams here which is why I have gone for a 1-0 home win, which means it will end up 3-3 :). No seriously I see Burnley Scoring early and then hanging on for dear life to there lead, and Newcastle are not the most potent in front of the onion bag. BURNLEY HALFTIME/FULLTIME 4/1 LADBROKES, BETVICTOR & CORAL

Good hunting everyone, and if I have helped in any way you are very welcome and if I haven't, please sip a beer it could be worse :)

warnock is championship manager but if cardiff want to stay up they need to act now and get someone else. cardiff are second from bottom. if you think warnock will keep you up then you should have beaten huddersfield, newcastle, burnley, leicester but you haven't and that's twelve points dropped. i can't see cardiff winning many matches with him in charge

Who do you suggest takes the job? which manager is a "premier league" manager that will keep them up, do you believe a change of manager will keep them up?

  12. Good evening everyone, I am still writing this but have decided to let my missus have a go with the predictions as she has been asking me what I am doing when I am on the excellent Punters Lounge Forum, sigh I know, but let her have a shot :)

Cardiff 0 Brighton 1. Sorry @StevieDay1983 the missus doesn't give you the win here, and I have to agree Brighton are settled and they will see this as one they should win, however I think Cardiff will also be thinking the same, that said an away win for me. UNDER 1.5 GOALS 7/4 MARATHON BET & betfair

Huddersfield 0 West Ham 2. Not a bad shout this, though with Huddersfield finally off the mark they will definitely fancy this and will hope the inconsistent West Ham turn up, This match caused a long pause for thought before coming up with 0-2 and I have to say so Far I do not disagree. WEST HAM HALF TIME/FULL TIME 3/1 BETVICTOR

Leicester 2 Burnley 0. Now here is where me and the missus differ but end up with the same prediction, she predicts 2-0 because of the tragedy that befell Leicester FC & The City, I think they will still win but will be a little tough with all the emotion and travelling sure to play a part. UNDER 2.5 GOALS 101/100 MARATHON BET

Newcastle 0 Bournemouth 0. EEEEErrrrrrr no goals in this game is a bold shout, but it could be a profitable one, although Bournemouth will go for it, but will Newcastle sit back and hope to grab a breakaway goal as they did against Watford?? NO GOALSCORER (ALWAYS THE BEST WAY TO GO WHEN 0-0 IS PREDICTED IN CASE AN OWN GOAL WINS IT) 9/1 bet365 & BETFRED

Southampton 1 Watford 1.  With Southampton floundering and I know I mention on numerous occasions that it baffles me Mark Hughes is still in the top flight management, A draw may not be a bad shout, so i'll give her the benefit of the doubt. BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE 23/4 Sporting Bet

Crystal Palace 1 Spurs 3. Again not a bad shout I think she is doing ok this would not be far off my prediction to be honest, Spurs will have to much going forward for the eagles and they also seem to be enjoying themselves away from Wembley. OVER 3.5 GOALS 41/20 888sport & 39/19 UNIBET

Liverpool 2 Fulham 0. Seems reasonable??? Liverpool back from a disappointing performance in Europe however they will see this out comfortably and 2-0 is a little humble but we will see. DRAW HALFTIME/LIVERPOOL FULLTIME 4/1 BETVICTOR

Chelsea 2 Everton 0. Hard to argue with this choice too, I think you can't look past Chelsea being comfortable in this one, with probably a goal in each half being sufficient enough. Chelsea HALFTIME/FULLTIME 23/20 Ladbrokes, CORAL & BETSTARS

Arsenal 1 Wolves 0. -0 TO THE Arsenaaaal, remember those days well they are back ha ha ha, Wolves have hit their first wobble and may go to the Emirates and try and hold back which is really against their usual style and Arsenal will nick it. ARSENAL 1-0, 89/10 MARATHON BET

AND SO ON TO THE MANCHESTER DERBY, SHE WILL PICK CITY JUST COS I AM UNITED :)

Man City 2 United 1. Well I was a little shocked by this one as in I thought she'd go 3 or 4 nil, but she gives United a goal :)' United just don't have what it takes to deal with City, me personally I am fearful of another Hiding similar to the one at Old Trafford a few years back, however the missus goes 2-1 and I'll go with that. CITY HALFTIME/CITY FULLTIME 21/20 William Hill, Coral, BETFRED, BETSTARS & SPORTINGBET

There endeth the predictions, have fun everyone and don't be to hard on us I think there are some actually great shouts in there, I am off to have a party with my dad, which means two of my favourite things, BEER & FOOD :):)

  13. It's Saturday so can mean only one thing, A long winded write up by me,  :cheers

Bournemouth 2 United 2. Good job I checked this before posting as it said Bournemouth 2 United 32!!!!, I was torn between 2 each or a 3-2 away win, however I have settled for a score draw, United will accept that despite all of Jose's ramblings this week.  . OVER 3.5 GOALS 19/10 UNIBET & 888sport

Cardiff 2 Leicester 3. This will be quite an emotional day and often the opposition get forgotten about but the occasion can get to both with football almost taking a back seat, and on such occasions football brings people together and I am sure Cardiff will do a great job in making it a fitting occasion, I see Leicester really wanting to do a good job and Cardiff attacking too, with Leicester nicking it with the odd goal in 5, I know that is already 9 goals predicted in 2 games. BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE 5/6  BETSTARS

Everton 2 Brighton 1. I think Everton will win this despite Brighton giving it a good go, I think this will be quite an open game with a bit of free flowing attacking football, I like Brighton and I like Chris Hughton, an honest manager hardly ever blames anyone if his team loses but I can't let that cloud my judgement so I am sticking with a narrow home win. 2-1 Everton 8/1 bet365, BETVICTOR, BETSTARS. 1OBET & SportPesa

Newcastle 2 Watford 0. What have I just written??? Newcastle have got to win at some point, and I know Watford seem to have found their feet again, but I am sticking with the home win just because they have to win at some point, mad logic I must admot but sometimes it pays off. Newcastle to win 9/5 UNIBET & BETVICTOR

West Ham 1 Burnley 0. Found this one a little tricky for some reason, probably because of Burnleys hammering last week, I think West Ham have found some kind of Rhythm and I expect a narrow victory at home for them in this one. UNDER 1.5 GOALS 13/5 BETFAIR

Arsenal 1 Liverpool 2. I have to be honest and say I rolled the dice on this one so could of ended up with 6-4 but honestly this is what the dice threw up a 2-1 away win, Arsenal are in fine form and Liverpool love to attack, many saying this is Liverpools first real test this season, I think Liverpool will just have a little to much in attack for the Gunners, and the dice agree :)OVER 2.5 GOALS 4/7 betfair.

Wolves 1 Spurs 3. It,s not that I think the wheels have fallen off at Wolves, they haven't and I think they will be fine this season, but nearly every promoted team hits a patch of form that disturbs them and in most cases relegates them, but I don't see the relegation part for Wolves, However I see a strong Spurs performance and a comfy win, Spurs seem to be just getting on with it this year. 3-1 SPURS 20/1 bet365

City 5 Southampton 0. I have been a little gentle where City have been concerned in recent weeks, but again Southampton are poor and I see City giving them a good hiding here and then serious questions being asked of Mark Hughes who for me is a bit of a strange one, always seems to get a Job. OVER 4.5 GOALS 15/8 betfair & PADDYPOWER

Chelsea 3 Palace 1. Chelsea have hit the ground running with their new manager and will be part of an unusual 3 horse premier league title race, they are playing a nice style of football and a few players seem to be settling in nicely, and I see a comfortable win here for the Blues. BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE 1/1 bet365, WilliamHill, BETFRED & betway

Huddersfield 2 Fulham 1. AAAAAAAHHH another hair puller, how do you predict this, Huddersfield have had a tough start with their fixtures but I think they will come good and record their first win of the campaign here with a nervy narrow win over fellow straggler's Fulham, I am going to be bold and say an injury time winner for the home side :) . Huddersfield to win 11/8 BETVICTOR, UNIBET & betway

Hope these have been of amusement and more importantly help with any punts you may be taking. enjoy your weekend people I actually have a weekend off so it is beer o'clock for me :cheers:cheers

  14. Straight in to it this week

Wolves 2 Brighton 1 Have to say I was very wrong with Wolves last week, but I expect them to bounce back with a narrow win over Brighton here, Brighton go quietly I think about raking up enough points to stay up, their first target. Wolves Half Time-Full time 3/1 bet365 & BETFRED

Fulham 1 Bournemouth 2 Confidence is low at the cottage and Bournemouth seem to know how to extract the 3 points from these sort of fixtures, and I see them doing the same here, think it will be close but not quite enough for Fulham. OVER 2.5 GOALS 4/7 betfair

Liverpool 3 Cardiff 0. Sorry @StevieDay1983 but I cannot see nothing but a comfortable Home victory here, great game for Cardiff last week but Liverpool are a different animal and tend to rush forward trying to get the game over asap, Liverpool 3-0 25/4 10Bet

Southampton 1 Newcastle 0. Two struggling sides here and I can see Benitez leaving St James park either walking or pushed before Christmas, Said it before I can't take to Mark Hughes teams for some reason but i feel they will nick a tight one here. DRAW/SOUTHAMPTON 17/4 BETVICTOR & BETSTARS

Watford 1 Huddersfield 1. I know the hornets are fresh from a good away win, but I think Huddersfield will be stubborn here and hard to shake, so it has made me lean to a scoring draw which will obviously please the terriers more. 1-1 DRAW 13/2 bet365, BETVICTOR & BETSTARS

Leicester 2 West Ham 0. Changed my mind about 3 times here ended up at 2-0 because someone rang my door bell, I reach my predictions in curious ways :), however I was edging to a home win anyway but was struggling with a score, so I settled for 2-0 thanks to the postman. LEICESTER 2-0 11/1 bet365 & 188BET

Burnley 1 Chelsea 3. Burnley can be a tough nut to crack on occasion but Chelsea seem not to be caring to much about the small stuff like that and I expect them to run out comfortable at Turf Moor, I like Shaun Dyche and got a feeling if Benitez leaves Newcastle they may look at Dyche instead of "a big name". OVER 3.5 GOALS 39/19 UNIBET & 41/20 888sport

Palace 0 Arsenal 2. Expecting Arsenal to make it 12 wins in a row in all comps, Arsenal are getting somewhere near to the style of Arsenal in the late 9's early 00's and here I think they will see off the eagles who are not boiling at all, I think Arsenal were a bit suspect to the counter attack in Wengers later years and Emery seems to be plugging that to a degree. UNDER 2.5 GOALS 73/50 MARATHON BET

United 2 Everton 1. Not just because I have supporters pessimism but United are a hard team to predict match outcomes this season and they seem to be performing better in the 2nd half of matches, Everton are slowly getting there and will be  tough opposition here, I'd like to think United are going to develop the old siege mentality of their great teams but I won't hold my breath. United 2-1 8/1 bet365, BETSTARS, 10BET & SportPesa

Spurs 2 City 2. I honestly don't know how to call this one Spurs are doing better than everyone thinks and City are just finding their expected form I am going to go for a exciting end to end score draw. 2-2 14/1 bet365

Sit back enjoy the weekend people

  15. Ahhhhhhh Normality of Premier League football returns and kicks off with a Big One!

Chelsea 3 United 1. Won't be a surprise that I predict a Chelsea win here, Although United staged that comeback against Newcastle a stronger team would of gone on to put 3 or 4 past United in that 1st half as there were all over the place, I expect Mourinho will approach this with his usual caution and if Chelsea get an early goal Mourinho's United are not to clever at chasing against the big boys. I therefore see a comfortable early afternoon work for the Blues. OVER 3.5 GOALS 11/5 bet365

Bournemouth 2 Southampton 1. A south coast derby win for Bournemouth could see the cherries rise to the dizzy heights of 4th if other results go their way, I expect they will get their end of the job done with a scrappy close win, Southampton for me are poor and I'm not a fan of Mark Hughes management and think his style of play is dull. BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE 5/7 SportPesa, 10BET

Cardiff 2 Fulham1. Here it is everyone Cardiffs first win, not because it's Fulham but just cause I think it's due, Cardiff have had an horrendous start to the season, but a win against Fulham will take them to within a point of the Cottagers, Fulham have some decent attack threat with Mitrovic and Sessingon but I think Cardiff will ride this one out and get the boost of a first Prem win. Under 3.5 goals is like buying money in my opinion and the fact that I can find 8 sites offering these odds tell me bookies agree. UNDER 3.5 GOALS 2/5 bet365, Ladbrokes, betfair, Coral, BETFRED, BoyleSports, BETSTARS, betway

Man City 2 Burnley 0. Seems silly to say for a team sitting top of the table but City haven't quite clicked into gear yet which is a large worry for the rest of the teams in the league, I expect they will see this one out comfortably enough though Burnley will provide some decent resistance and Dyche may try to have a go here and why not, I see Sterling grabbing a goal here to after his confidence boosting brace in Spain. STERLING TO SCORE AT ANYTIME 23/25 MARATHON BET

Newcastle 1 Brighton 1. Now I think Newcastle are struggling for several reason, to many of their players just can't cut it, uncertainty with club ownership and Benitez in my opinion not really wanting to be there, Brighton on the other hand are loving life, bit of an up and down season so far, and they may fancy they can nick all 3 points here but I think a 1-1 draw will be settled for. 1-1 47/10 MARATHON BET

West Ham 2 Spurs 4. West Ham and Spurs do not like each other and this is a fiery encounter normally, but because I think Spurs will just go for it ad will West Ham I see a high scoring away win. People seem to think Spurs are struggling but it's their best start to a premier league campaign and I think the fact they are winning but maybe not in great style is clouding people, I think out of the two sides Spurs defence will be stronger and therefore prevail. DRAW/TOTTENHAM 22/5 MARATHON BET

Wolves 2 Watford 0. Watfords predicted wobbles have set in and this is no place to go when you are wobbling at the moment, Wolves posses a confident little squad that believe in their manager and what he's doing, also have a decent financial clout behind them, and I think they will have to much for The Hornets here and score a goal in each half to seal the points. WOLVES 2-0 8/1 BETVICTOR

Huddersfield 0 Liverpool 3. Huddersfield are improving but I can't see them getting any joy at all against Liverpool, For whatever reasons Liverpool struggled against Napoli and held on for a point against City, not terrible results in the grand scheme of things but even Klopp was saying his team look tired, however I expect them to shake that tiredness and win comfortably here was tempted to go for 0-4 but stuck at 3. LIVERPOOL 3-0 8/1 BETVICTOR

Everton 2 Crystal Palace 1. I don't really know where to begin with both these sides, Everton look like they are going to have a flyer and then don't win for a couple games against teams you think they might, then they will go away an beat teams that you think they won't Palace are also hard to predict though it seems if you take Zaha out of the picture, no goals and no points seem to follow, so I am going for Everton to edge to a nervy 2-1 win. EVERTON 2-1 33/4 10BET SportPesa

Arsenal 3 Leicester 1. Arsenal have definitely found their feet and scoring boots under Emery and although ;Leicester will go there and want to test Arsenals defence I expect the Gunners to pick them off a couple of times after probably taking a lead, and therefore see 3 points, and 3 goals for the Gunners and a nice win. Leicester to score a penalty 8/1 bet365

Another weekend down and it's all taking shape, I'm off for a beer or two :) enjoy people, enjoy

  16. Burnley 2 Huddersfield 0. I honestly thought Cardiff would turn Burnley over, and I think that was much better result for Burnley than people think, I see them having a comfortable 2-0 here, with Huddersfield proving pretty toothless in their second season, and also not defending to well, early goal will set the pace. FIRST GOALSCORER: VYDRA 11/2 WITH SPREADEX

Palace 1 Wolves 1. Find this one pretty tough to call, everyone seems to agree Wolves are not looking out of place at the moment, but Palace are quite wiley in these sort of fixtures and normally come up trumps, however i'm going for another draw with 1-1 being my preferred choice, think Palace will lead and Wolves will peg them back. 1-1 Is 11/2 with BETVICTOR, BETFRED, BETSTARS & sportingbet,

Leicester 3 Everton 1. Just got a feeling Leicester will coast through this one, Everton have surprised me a bit with their indifferent form so far and I think this will be comfortable for the foxes, who seem to be finding a decent patch of play, 3-1 Is 18/1 bet365

Spurs 3 Cardiff 0. Oh Cardiff what a start to the season you are having, a real tough opening set of games for them and we are only 7 games in, life will not get easier for the Bluebirds in this one, although Spurs are off of a CL Defeat, their perfomance against Barca was not to bad, little naive but not to bad, i think they just have way to much for Cardiff and will ease through this by 3 maybe even more sorry @StevieDay1983 I'm sitting on 3-0 though. Tottenham half time/Full time 5/6 Ladbrokes & CORAL, surely that is like buying money

Watford 1 Bournemouth 2. I have no rhyme or reason for this but I just think the cherries will win and I don't know why just one of them scores I fancy with no logic, short and sweet this one. BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE 9/12 10BET & SportPesa

Man United 3 Newcastle 1. United to score 3, have I banged my head, probably, at some point you have to think this sulking bunch of players will have to turn up for the fans if not the manager, I think they will be badly wounded by a hammering by the hammers and a woeful goal less draw v Valencia, that said it hasn't sparked them into action and if the rumour mill is to be believed defeat would cost Jose his job which would suit about 15 players!!!! Newcastle are poor also, uncertainty at every turn, I think United will be comfortable the other option is another dull 0-0. OVER 3.5 GOALS 13/5 betfair and BETVICTOR

Fulham 1 Arsenal 3. The gunners definitely seem to have found their feet under Emery now, and I see them beating Fulham nicely here, although Fulham do have enough to give Arsenal a run for about an hour before Arsenal pull away. FIRST GOALSCORER: Ramsey 8/1 bet365, 10BET & SportPesa

Southampton 0 Chelsea 3. Not much to say about this I don't think the saints are that good and Chelsea will have the firepower to kill this game by Half time and put their feet up,. Chelsea 3-0 is 12/1 bet365, BETFRED & BETSTARS

Liverpool 3 Man City 1. YUP you read that right, Klopps reds tend to just attack City and City are definitely not used to that approach from opposition, but where this fixture is concerned attack is definitely Liverpools best defence, I have to say through gritted teeth I like how Klopp makes them play and he is very supportive (at least publicly ) where his players are concerned, I think Pep will be irritated by the fact that Liverpool sent City packing in last seasons CL. OVER 3.5 GOALS is 16/25 with BLACKTYPE

Enjoy the weekend people i'm off for a curry and beer cheers

  17. Good Morning Punters Lounge Pundits, Some intriguing and hard to call fixtures this week,

West Ham 2 United 2. West Ham tend to be right up for this fixture and I see them believing United are there for the taking, United seem to be in the midst of some sort of power battle, although it seems to be hyped up by the media, then played down by the participants, only for them to air their laundry in an apparent spat. This all being taken in to consideration I see the fixture being a score draw, United's defence doesn't like players like Arnautovic who is fit to return today and he will surely net today 12/5 betway for him to score at anytime. also over 3.5 goals 9/4 William Hill

Arsenal 2 Watford 0. Arsenal have won 6 games in a row in all competitions and confidence is on a high there as the players seem to be warming to Emery's plans and style, still not the free flowing football they would like at the moment but slowly getting there, Watford got their season off to a flyer and many will see a draw at Fulham last week as a poor result but I think it was ok, however I see an improving Arsenal keeping a clean sheet and seeing this one out Under 2.5 goals 7/4 betfair

Everton 2 Fulham 1. Everton have won only once this term and in honesty that will be real disappointing considering some of the fixtures they have had. I changed my mind about four times predicting the score in this one, I find it a tough one to call however i'm going for Everton to sneak with the odd goal in 3. Fulham have settled a bit now and this is why I find this fixture tough, because after Evertons 3-1 reverse against West Ham, Fulham will be thinking this would be a great time to take 3 points, Both teams to score 8/13 william Hill  betfair PaddyPower  BetFred  10Bet & SportPesa

Huddersfield 1 Spurs 3. Surely at some point Huddersfield will start to win? but in honesty in a couple of games they have played well but also seem to be a bit rudderless, now a real tough opening set of fixtures for Huddersfield and it could define their season with those second season Blues seem to be hitting them, and it won't get any easier here although many are suggesting Spurs are tired and already under achieving, the spurs squad was not added to this summer and some times that is a problem with players becoming comfortable, I expect a signing or 2 in January and I also expect a comfortable 3 points here for Spurs. Spurs 3-1 Is 13/1 With BETVICTOR & BETSTARS

Man City 3 Brighton 0. Should be a nice win for City here, Brighton are decent and will put up more of a fight than the scoreline suggest, however City's fire power will prove to much for the Seagulls here, City are not looking as good as last season but that is being highlighted by Liverpools early season surge, despite that they will go close again this year and win this game along the way. Both Teams Not To Score 4/7 BETVICTOR & betfair.

Newcastle 1 Leicester 2. At this moment Newcastle must surely start going for games a bit more than they have so far this season and I think Leicester will give them the opportunity here, that said  Leicester are a tough side to beat in fairness and will also see this fixture as one where 3 points can be obtained, another fixture where I have changed my mind a few times the cardinal sin in betting isn't it? I've decided to settle on 1-2 Leicester after a long period of thought, for those that know me, they know thinking isn't my strong point :) . Leicester 2-1 10/1 bet365 BETFRED BETSTARS 10BET 188 BET & SportPesa

Wolves 3 Southampton 1. Wolves will be super confident after a performance at Old Trafford that was worth all 3 points, They are playing with style and no fear and will see Southampton as a game they should win, promoted sides rarely get to hammering teams or even scoring 3 times as they settle but Wolves have settled nicely and have the fire power to cause damage here, Southampton are showing signs of improvement but I think they may approach this game in the wrong way by trying to stifle Wolves rather than going for them, Wolves 3-1 18/1 bet365

    THE WEEKENDS STANDOUT FIXTURE

Chelsea 2 Liverpool 2. Sat here pondering again and not sure about my final prediction, first thought it could be cagey but then Liverpool do not do cagey which is a credit to Klopp, many will say this is Liverpools first real test this season and i'm inclined to agree, with their start they will not be aiming for a draw but may see it as a good result in the grand scheme of things, Chelsea will also want to put down a marker in the biggest fixture of their season so far and with it being at home will be eager to win, however I see a score draw suiting both teams. 2-2 23/2 188BET

Cardiff 2 Burnley 1 @StevieDay1983 I think Cardiff will get that much needed first win today, sure Burnley are improving but despite a couple of heavy defeats I don't think Cardiff have been that bad and the fans will be excited and be believing that this is a fixture they can win and I see them edging home in a nervy finish, Burnley will also be travelling to this game thinking we can get an important away win here and they have every reason to think that however I think Cardiff will get over the line  2-1 Cardiff HALF TIME, CARDIFF FULL TIME 18/5 BETVICTOR

Bournemouth 3 Crystal Palace 2. Going for a high scorer here for some reason which means you should all probably back 0-0. I just believe their will be goals all over the place here in terms over defences not being great, so a goalfest in my opinion to end the fixtures on. Over 4.5 Goals 5/1 BETVICTOR & 888sport

  18. So here we go again, got off to a great start last week with Liverpool winning 2-1 as predicted, went badly off the rails in between But getting some respectability with the 2-2 draw at st mary's

Fulham 1 Watford 1. I don't think the wheels have quite come off Watfords season as I heard a few experts say their season may unravel after the defeat to United, this will be a tough one for the likes of Watford whom Fulham will be confident of taking 3 points from the game, however I see a score draw here as the likely outcome. 1-1  IS 6/1 WITH Bet365, sportingbet, BET VICTOR, & BETSTARS

Burnley 1 Bournemouth 2. I see Burnley continuing to struggle in this one, Bournemouth are off to a reasonable start and I see them edging this by the odd goal in three, 1-2  10/1 WITH Bet365

Cardiff 1 Man City 2. What a tough start for Cardiff and I don't see them getting anything from this although they should take great heart from the performance at Stamford Bridge, I don't see City spanking Cardiff and City are kind of stuttering for them, but I do see City having to much and will see it out. 1-2    43/4 WITH 10BET AND SportPesa

Crystal Palace 2 Newcastle 1. Finding this tough to call as at some point I expect Newcastle to get their season off and running, however Palace will definitely be fancying this one, and the eagles supporters are sometimes like an extra man and I think that will edge them over the line. 2-1  9/1 WITH Bt365

LEICESTER 2 HUDDERSFIELD 1. Think the foxes will edge this one, despite being well beaten at Bournemouth last week, Huddersfield are truly stuttering and I think Leicesters street smarts will get then through this one, confidence is an amazing thing and the terriers have not a ;lot of that at the moment. 2-1  17/2 Bet365, BETVICTOR, BETSTARS, 10BET & SportPesa

LIVERPOOL 3 SOUTHAMPTON 0.  No Joy for the Saints here as Liverpool will continue their impressive start to the season with a comfortable victory here, I say it every week but Liverpools attacking threat will be way to much for Southampton, and this will be easy. 3-0  27/4 sportingbet

Man United 2 Wolves 1. I know Wolves are not off to the start a lot of people expected, but myself I have been quite impressed with them and Uniteds lack of creativity could see this one being quite close especially as I expect Wolves to just go for it and they have the pace and power to give Uniteds defence a headache or two, however I see United being a tad too strong and on the back of their 3 consecutive victories I see another 3 points here. 2-1  8/1 BETSTARS & SportPesa

BRIGHTON 1 SPURS 3. Something seems to be a miss at Spurs and I like Brighton at home though strangely I think Spurs will get a comfortable win here based on the fact I think Brighton may think Spurs are vulnerable and go for it and get punished for being too adventurous. 1-3   14/1 Bet365

WEST HAM 2 CHELSEA 2. WAIT, WHAT? Yup I think West Ham will get something from this game, Chelsea are going well and will be confident but West Ham can cause a problem or two, I wxpect the Hammers to ride the Chelsea storm and sneak a lucky draw. 2-2  14/1 Bet365, BETFRED, BETSTARS & 188BET

Arsenal 2 Everton 0. Arsenal seem to be settling into life after Wenger now and I think they will win this one with a clean sheet but maybe with a bit more discomfort than the result suggest, Everton are neither here or there to be honest and don't seem to have any patter or real leadership within, 2-0   37/4 10BET & SportPesa

This is really enjoyable folks keep up the good work :)

  19. Phew just made it :)

Spurs 1 Liverpool 2.  Again I actually think it could be Liverpools year and it kills me to say that, but the keeper looks decent and the defence is amongst the strongest, I think they will come away with a win here despite I think going a goal behind FIRST GOALSCORER: SON 17/2 WITH BET VICTOR

Bournemouth 2 Leicester 2. Quite a tough one to call this so I have gone for a pretty high scoring draw, Think both these teams will be more than safe this term and thus allow them to attack at will against each other in their belief they will pick up points against "easier" opponents FIRST GOALSCORER: JOSHUA KING 13/2 WITH BET 365 AND 10BET

Chelsea 3 Cardiff 0. Read something interesting this week that this is one of the games Cardiff will essentially give up as in they will expect to lose, found that shocking, and quite unbelievable no pro team will write off games like that, clearly they are underdogs but they will fight, just like they did against Arsenal, however Chelsea will be too strong and end up with a comfortable scoreline FIRST GOALSCORER:MARCOS ALONSO 11/1 WITH BOYLESPORTS

Huddersfield 1 Palace 1. Expected myself to give this one to Palace to be honest but found myself drawn to the draw, Palace sadly are not even half the side without Zaha who expects to play today, however I think Huddersfield will be looking to get all 3 points here, but Palace will hit on counter attack and go 1 up FIRST GOALSCORER: BENTEKE (HE'S GOT TO SOON) 6/1 WITH SPORTING BET

MAN CITY 4 FULHAM 2. Jeez what am I saying may have lost the plot on this a little, City have had 2 blips (or 2 blips for them) but they will come through this game relatively comfortably but I do see Fulham scoring a couple FIRST GOALSCORER: AGUERO 40/17 WITH UNIBET AND 888SPORT

NEWCASTLE 2 ARSENAL 1. Now I really have bumped my head, but I think Newcastle will look at Arsenal as one of the big sides they can beat at least at home, and they won't play that horrific style they adopted against Chelsea earlier in the season, Arsenalon the other hand will be expecting to win and this may be quite an open game FIRST GOALSCORER: RONDON 8/1 WITH BET365, BOYLESPORTS, 10BET AND SPORTPESA

WATFORD 2 MAN UNITED 2. Watford will still be high after beating Spurs and remaining unbeaten, I think they will go at United and I see the game swinging this way and that, I think United will take the lead, Watford will edge in front and the the equaliser and both teams settling for a point a piece FIRST GOALSCORER: LINGARD  17/2 WITH SPORTING BET

WOLVES 2 BURNLEY 0. Again Wolves will definitely be seeing this as a game they should be winning, and their squad is more than capable, Burnley are having that usual Europa League/Premier League combination struggles, however being out of the Europa now can only help, however I don't see their season getting on track here FIRST GOALSCORER: JOTA 28/5 WITH MARATHON BET

EVERTON 2 WEST HAM 0. I can't see West Hams season getting going ere, Everton are tough organised and now playing decent football especially at home, West Hams woes continue and I have said before trying to gel all those new signings is never easy, If West Ham can get through this season they may be a dark horse for europe next year FIRST GOALSCORER: NIASSE 6/1 WITH BET 365, 10BET AND SPORTPESA

SOUTHAMPTON 2 BRIGHTON 2. Southampton one of my tips to go down, but they will be buoyed by their victory at Palace and in this south coast derby I see an end to end game, Think Brighton may even go 2 up and the Saints will fight back, do I ever predict a 0-0 anywhere? I don't think I have yet FIRST GOALSCORER: MURRAY 15/2 WITH BET365, 10BET AND SPORTPESA

Sit back everyone and enjoy the weekend. My predictions don't reflect my result wishes, so come on Cardiff, Spurs and Fulham :)

  20. Wahaaaaaay I really look forward to this now :)

    LEICESTER 1 LIVERPOOL 3

Liverpool off to a flyer and I expect they will run the title very close this season, I think just the way they attack will be to much for Leicester who I admire a lot, Was massively wrong against Brighton with my prediction but don't think i'll be far out with this FIRST GOALSCORER:ROBERTO FIRMINO 11/2

    BRIGHTON 1 FULHAM 0

Think this will be a close one between these two, Fulham are not a bad little side but I think the premier league season will catch up with them late on, Brighton are decent under Hughton and are becoming quite hard to beat, I think they'll sneak this one FIRST GOALSCORER: GLENN MURRAY 11/2

    CHELSEA 2 BOURNEMOUTH 0

I may be wrong but Bournemouth tend to have decent games at the bridge, however I expect their unbeaten start to come to an end against a up beat Chelsea who will be too strong at home FIRST GOALSCORER: DAVID LUIZ 28/1 (GOTTA THROW A WILD ONE IN)

    PALACE 2 SOUTHAMPTON 0

Again Southampton look very poor and must be amongst the favourites for their premier league tenure to end this year. Palace will have way to much for them with their pace and counter attacking style, think this will be a comfortable home win FIRST GOALSCORER: ANDROS TOWNSEND 14/1

    EVERTON 3 HUDDERSFIELD 1

Poor Huddersfield off to a stutter and it will not get better here, Everton have a good manager and I like the way he gets his sides to play, They look a sneaky for the top six FIRST GOALSCORER: GYLFI SIGURDSSON 15/2

    WEST HAM 1 WOLVES 2

I know Wolves are currently winless as are the hammers, but Wolves have put in some decent performances in the opening games, West Ham have not looked at all at home since their move to the London Stadium, and are wobbling already this season, I think with an early strike Wolves will have the crowd against the home side pretty sharpish FIRST GOALSCORER: HELDER COSTA 10/1

    MAN CITY 3 NEWCASTLE 0

Newcastle were rightly slaughtered for their approach to the home game against Chelsea, and this game will have them wondering what to do, attack and they may get hammered sit back and they'll still get beat, City will have way to much and I think 3-0 is a quality call FIRST GOALSCORER: RAHEEM STERLING 17/4

    SUNDAY MATCHES

    CARDIFF 1 ARSENAL 2

Cardiff another team finding the premier league a huge jump up, Arsenal have had a tough start but having got their first win I expect them to seal another away to the bluebirds, think i'm being generous by giving Cardiff a goal :( FIRST GOALSCORER: HENRIKH MKHITARYAN 8/1

    BURNLEY 1 MANCHESTER UNITED 1

Manchester United are like a baby who won't wear nappies, cannot keep a clean sheet :) . Burnley are struggling already with the Europa league affect, however they tend to do ok against United at home, I think they'll go 1 up in this but fail to hang on FIRST GOALSCORER:SAM VOKES 10/1

    WATFORD 1 SPURS 3

Both played 3 and won 3, excellent start for Watford but that will end at home to Spurs who will be buoyed by their performance at Old Trafford eventually running out comfortable winners, I see this game pretty much going the same way as that one FIRST GOALSCORER:KIERAN TRIPPIER 29/1

PHEW THAT WAS LONG WINDED. ENJOY YA WEEKEND PEOPLE

  21. Ahem, deep breath here we go again, pretty sure I said city 6 Huddersfield 1 last week, was very happy with myself, checked on here I said 5-0 :). so even if it is just for humour, here I go again

Wolves 1 City 3. think Wolves may be a bit brighter here than many think, but in the end City's class will tell, and the score I predict says that, I actually don't see many teams going to Wolves and putting 3 or 4 on the board but City will. FIRST GOALSCORER: AGUERRO

Arsenal 2  West Ham 1 this early season relegation battle (keep ya pants on gooners i'm joking) West Ham spent big but sometimes it is not easy to gel so many changes together, Arsenal are also in a transition of getting to know the new manager, i'm edging Arsenal home in this one, because I think they'll have to much fire power for a shaky west ham. FIRST GOALSCORER: Aubameyang

Bournemouth 2 Everton 2. Good Start from the cherries this season, I expect their unbeaten run to continue with a hard fought draw in this one, Everton will see a draw as a good result in the scheme of things. FIRST GOALSCORER: WILSON

Huddersfield 2 Cardiff 0. Huddersfield probably can't believe their Luck, Chelsea then City, now Cardiff, I think Huddersfield will finally get their season off to a start in this one, Cardiff look a bit out of their depth at the moment making the adjustment, I hope they do make it though as I like Neil Warnock, however I think the terriers will be desperate to extend their stay in the top flight and with the greatest respect will see this game as one they should/need to win, so i'm going 2-0.FIRST GOALSCORER:MOOY

Southampton 1 Leicester 3 think I bumped my head here!!! think Southampton are in for a long hard slog this season and think a home defeat to the foxes is on the cards, i see Leicester flying out the blocks and then snatching a 3rd on the counter.FIRST GOALSCORER: D. GRAY

Liverpool 3 Brighton 1. Brighton no doubt feeling as high as they possibly could after a very well deserved victory over United, but Sorry seagulls, these reds will have way to match attacking flair that said I see Brighton scoring but Liverpool will already be comfortable by then. FIRST GOALSCORER:VAN DIJK

    Ahhhhhhh Sunday football

Watford 2 Palace 2. I need to start predicting some low scoring games me thinks, but I see goals here, I think both teams will be safe this year and see a point against each other as an ok result, I've always had a soft spot for Palace, so my predictions may appear eagles friendly :)FIRST GOALSCORER: BENTEKE (YES BENTEKE)

Fulham 1 Burnley 1. Burnley are having that usual can't concentrate on Europe and premier league syndrome, and I think they'll get a point here all be it hard earned and they would probably want more. FIRST GOALSCORER: MITROVIC

Newcastle 1 Chelsea 2. Newcastle are of to an ok start and should of nicked all 3 points at Cardiff last week, however I think they'll push Chelsea close but ultimately Chelsea will have to much. FIRST GOALSCORER: KANTE

    Monday Night Football

Man United 1 Spurs 2. Now many won't know but I am a United fan, but also a realist :). United offer very little going forward at the moment and this isn't a great change from the last 3 or 4 seasons, they will set out not to conceded early and try nick it, not the United way at OT, but i think it'll backfire and Spurs will score in the opening 15 mins and the Jose plan will go out the Window, and I see Spurs going 2 up before United pull one back late on but don't really muster a flurry. FIRST GOALSCORER: ERIKKSON

  22. Let me go at this again :) think I actually got a correct score in my first weeks predictions, success :)

Cardiff V Newcastle. Newcastle were a shade unlucky against Spurs on Saturday, with Spurs quality edging them home, Cardiff at home will be tough just because it's their first home match and the crowd will be vocal, however I think Newcastle will also just have enough here and I see a sneaky 0-1 away win for the toon army.

Everton v Southampton. Home win for me, I think Everton's performance against Wolves was ok, and unfortunate in my opinion to go down to 10 men, Southamptons lack of fire power will cause Saints fans concern this season and I am going for Everton 2-0.

Leicester V Wolves. as I said last week Leicester are industrious but I may have done them an injustice their performance against United suggest Leicester could be a dark horse for the top 6. Wolves as we know have flashed the cash and do have a couple of quality players, but I feel the foxes will have more bite than the Wolves, Leicester 3 Wolves 1.

Now I will say Spurs looked a little shaky against Newcastle, but I think they will be fine at home to Fulham, Fulham who were actually quite unlucky to lose 2-0 at home to Palace as they had plenty of chances, however I think they will draw another blank here, with Spurs running out 3-0 winners.

Last of the Saturday games and what a start for the gooners, First City and now Chelsea, after a dodgy first half Arsenal showed some good signs second half before City killed it, that said I think a 2-1 Home win for Chelsea here

Burnley v Watford, if I am honest these sort of games I find hard to predict, So I am basing this just on home advantage and Burnley running out 3-2 winners

Poor Huddersfield, a bit like the gooners Chelsea and City First two games, a 3-0 reverse at home for the Terriers, and it will not get any better for them in this, City may have a field day, and can see a 5 or 6 here. so I'll plump for 5-0

Brighton V United. I distinctly remember United toiling at Brighton last year and it will be the same, United for me lack creativity, which is madness when you have a Pogba and a Mata, so maybe it's just the managers tactics, nooooooooooo surely not Mourinho's fault. Brighton for me will be desperate to collect as many home points as they can I know I know a cliche for which I apologise. with all that I have said in this I think United will limp to a 0-1 away win.

Palace V Liverpool. Palace will be ecstatic with their 2-0 away win at Fulham, as will Liverpool with their 4-0 dispatch of the Hammers, I don't see Liverpool having this fixture all their own way, Palace offer speed and flair in Zaha but he won't be enough Liverpool to win 2-1

  23. Ahhhhhhhh The NFL, if I take my absolute biased and loved Oakland Raiders out of the picture (which they will probably do for me by week 8) i'll try and be reasonable :)

The Patriots always seem to be there or thereabout, this year I am going to throw the egg shaped ball way out there and say I have a sneaking for the Rams, No Logical explanation for this, just a feeling,

That said have to agree with the Jags being in the equation, My heart loves it when the Non regulars are involved in the play offs I am going to throw four teams out there, 2 from each AFC & NFC.

    AFC: PATRIOTS & JAGS

    NFC: PACKERS & GIANTS

so you can now pick your teams and leave them 4 teams out as I have universally jinxed them
