Re: Sporting Odds Champions League - July Got a mail bacl from Joe:
Hi Dave, I'm very sorry about the problems during last night's Champions League. I am currently waiting on Boss to supply me with a full report on the state of the tournament when it all went wrong. As soon as I have this I will let you know both how the prize money and league points will be awarded. As soon as this is done I will e-mail you again and let you know what has been decided. Please bear with me as I wait for all of the info. Regards, Joe -
Re: Sporting Odds Champions League - July Yes of course. I'm just gutted as I've had some real bad luck during this tournament and that result would have helped me make the money again. I've mailed Joe @ Odds, he's a good bloke and will no doubt come back with a fair solution.

Re: Betting on poker torunaments I find you very self-confident and so modest, Tank. It's refreshing.

Re: RUGBY INTERNATIONAL ALL BLACKS Vs SPRINGBOKS Personally - I think SA will get humped. They have no pace anywhere. Regardless of the comments above - could be between 30 and 40 points.

-
Re: Jackpot Sit and Go's No luck then?

Re: Jackpot Sit and Go's Good spot, that'll be why then.

Re: Jackpot Sit and Go's On CD poker it is defintately 4 games in a row.

Re: Jackpot Sit and Go's Good luck masterplan.
-
Re: Jackpot Sit and Go's No - you just have to win consecutive games you play - all in one day or over a month.

Re: Jackpot Sit and Go's
Thats what I thought - so you can imagine my dissapointment when that bloke beat me to death with his flush I mentioned in the first post.I thought these were five in a row -
Re: Jackpot Sit and Go's Well, basically, the Dirty Dozen is a £2.00+.40c 2 x 6 seater STT which pays out to 4 players (personally I find it relatively easy to make the final 6 but never mind). If you win 4 on the trot you get a $2000.00 bonus. Maui is a 10 seat $5.00+$1.00 STT which has the normal structure for 10 seater, ie-Top 3. If you win 4 on the trot you get a bonus of $?????? cant remember but if you get 4 top 2 finishes you are entitled to a consolation prize of $200.00. You not only get CD points for the buy in but on any cash you happen to win.

Been playing quite a lot of these on CD poker, mainly the Dirty Dozen and the Maui tables. Been unlucky enough to win 3 straight games twice and have been a mere river card away from the $2000.00 Jackpot......oh how I laughed when my opponent hit his 4th spade for that 8 high flush. I just thought with the talent around Punterslounge this would be a viable option for a number of people. The Maui $5.00 also offers a consolation prize for 4 top 2 finishes of $200.00. Another bonus is that cash you win on these tables also converts to extra CD points so a $5.00 buy in gets you a minimum of 15 extra points.

Re: Rugby International: Australia V Sth Africa Iceman - I'm only pulling your leg. I've also taken 6-10 margin for aus and SA to score first via Percy.
-
Re: Rugby International: Australia V Sth Africa My god, thats not a precious Kiwi I see is it? - Good luck with your bet. I took Aus -8

Re: Rugby International: Australia V Sth Africa
Are you a Kiwi by any chance?I totally disagree about australias performance last week they were lucky to only come away with a relatively close loss. The AB's in the form they showed which mind you was well under the potential they possibly could show, should have beaten them by at least another 21-28 pts -
Re: Rugby International: Australia V Sth Africa My Thoughts: I can't quite see how people are fancying South Africa here, as mentioned in earlier threads SA struggled at times against Scotland and in all honestly were blown out of the water against France, France didn't have the benefit of a warm up match either. Aus had good wins against England and a tired Ireland and I don't think they played that badly last week against NZ with the Kiwis doing their usual surge in the last 15-20 minutes. SA are having problems scoring and in Percy isn't on form with his boot I really don't know where the points are going to come from? Obviously, SA are going to take it on up front, hopefully securing penalities, but I can see Australia out-scoring them. Other factors to take into consideration are the home crowd which I think is always worth 5 points and also the fact that Burger isn't in the SA line up, their talisman like player not being in the squad is not to be underestimated. The Saffers are getting on, I really don't think Os Durant is going to be effective for a whole 80 minutes. Aus by 20 for me.
