Re: Stars VIP offer for UK players cashed out yesterday as the extra gain for time put in just is not worth it for me 70k vpps will do nicely cashed out 1250 and am stood at 3500 vpps so will have roughly 19k vpps to get before the end of the year to make Supernova at a slower pace

Re: Stars VIP offer for UK players good results last few days, having a steady target to grind for seems to have helped my game vpp 3114 $1154 just need to make the decision now whether to strive for the extra 4400 points this month for the extra 5500 vpps towards Supernova

Re: Stars VIP offer for UK players Morlspin the promo doesnt give you the vpp to spend(fpp are what you spend) just as a boost in your level, so the targets to aim for are really 750 which will give you platinum for 2 months and the 7.5k which will give you a minimum of 87.5k on the way to supernova, so you would need another 13k vpp before the end of the year

Re: Stars VIP offer for UK players Well discovered if I stack tables can quite happily cope with 10 sit and goes running at a time so going to grind this out and go for the 7500 points playing the 16 turbos you need to play 1500 which by my reckoning that they take about 40 mins each on average means finding time for about 80 hours of poker this month :loon:loon

Re: Stars VIP offer for UK players Well from yesterday and today I have managed to get 915 vpps so hopefully can at least reach the 1200 point for the 60k vpp boost, 4 tabling its going to be hard to get to 7500 vpps though for the 80k boost!

Re: Virgin Festival 4th-5th April / Newcastle give kayak.com a try as well as it can also show you a map of where the hotels are The hilton had a fairly decent offer in that you could get breakfast and dinner for the first night for just over 200 (and Virgin airmiles through Hilton honours) Are most people going to be in Aspers on the Friday as well?

Re: Las Vegas 2009 Thread just got back and suffering from the jet lag a little (nothing to do with the fact I hardly had any sleep whilst there) stayed in the MGM and the Mandalay played a lot of 1-2nl poker in the MGM, was easy soft at the weekends, tight during the day in the week, and a decent / soft game on the weekday evenings

Re: When do you leave a game? get tommy angelos book and read the section on quitting, I think that the sections on tilt control and quitting have improved my game no end

Re: what would you do next? call or fold? easy fold min raise at 10NL usual means at least a set if there is not ace on the board especially if they are somewhat weak/tight which the majority will be, as played if he had shoved on the turn and you had a solid read he was capable of bluffing/spewing with AK type hands then it might be worth staking off with (A lot of people at 10NL really really over value jj+)

Hi is it just me apparently talking to support its everyone on Boss First time I had played on Virgin for a while, slightly annoying has entered three tournaments!
