  1. Re: THE major Poker sites and their owners charged with illegal gambling I've been looking at Party over the last few days and it seems like there's some mega fish all the way up to $10/$20. Big waiting lists though. I-poker tends to be tougher I think, probably due to some of the ridiculous rakeback deals you can get there. I think Stars/Tilt are going to be fine for non-US players in the short-term, but it's definitely a good idea to only keep a small % of your bankroll on them + keep a very close eye on any legal developments, as I don't feel like people's money is always guaranteed to be 100% safe on there right now. If/when anyone gets prosecuted then you might see foreign govts. starting to panic/withdrawing licenses. What was Matusow saying btw?
  2. Re: THE major Poker sites and their owners charged with illegal gambling I'd recommend that everyone listens to the 2+2 Pokercast this week. It's huge, nearly 4 hours, but they've got 4 or 5 guests, and it covers everything that's happened/might happen. Some of the stuff that's said (eg Todd Terry saying that there will never be online poker in the US again) is questionable, but overall it's a very good listen.

  4. Re: 48hr Big Game Live Stream 15-17 April The A5 I think he had pretty much talked the guy into the call - until the point that he said A5. The previous 5 mins of talk I think was very good + he totally messed it up with that statement. I missed the Tony G pot, but from what you/the commentators have said it was pretty terrible. He is generally known for being very good at talking players into making bad plays though, so I guess when you do that it's going to go wrong sometimes. Conclusion of the Big Game : Jesse May gets better the more tired/hallucinating he becomes.
  5. Re: 48hr Big Game Live Stream 15-17 April Devilfish proving my point 5 minutes later
  6. Re: 48hr Big Game Live Stream 15-17 April :rollin No they're not.
  7. Re: THE major Poker sites and their owners charged with illegal gambling They steal foreign oil, what makes you think they won't get away with stealing foregin poker money?
  8. Re: THE major Poker sites and their owners charged with illegal gambling Doubt it. No-one else saw it coming, certainly not right now (and there's plenty of people intelligent as Brandon Adams closely involved in poker).
  9. Re: THE major Poker sites and their owners charged with illegal gambling http://www.pokerroad.com/radio/prr/358 PokerRoad show up with BJ Nemeth and Gary Wise. Haven't listened to it yet, but normally they know what they're talking about, so probably worth a listen for anyone who can't be bothered to read 200 pages on 2+2
  10. Re: THE major Poker sites and their owners charged with illegal gambling Pinnacles's 2.54 on WSOP main event winner not being american now looks like a great bet (and it was probably a good bet already).

  14. Re: THE major Poker sites and their owners charged with illegal gambling I think they mean the software but may be wrong.
  15. Re: THE major Poker sites and their owners charged with illegal gambling Latest is that the sites will be shutting down worldwide within next 48hrs apparently, so not just going to be US affected
  16. Re: STT playing multitablers I've recently been 9 tabling 6-max turbo SNGs on FT. Regs on the whole are playing pretty ABC in the early stages, but in the later stages will become very active (as you should do in these).

  18. Re: Negreanu v Isildur match It's so swingy because, well, it's heads up :lol With only 2 players people are happier getting it in with less strong hands, and less strong hands are more vulnerable to being outdrawn.

  24. Re: 2011 Heads Up Cash +$1300 I have bought both HEM and PT but my laptop exploded (not literally) and neither work on this one I'm using temporarily.
  25. Re: 2011 Heads Up Cash +$1300 I have to be honest, I haven't been keeping an accurate record the problem of having no tracking software), but at a guess I'm probably +$3k. Nowhere near the $10k target, but I've not played much. Been playing 50NL, 100NL and 200NL.
