Its the Final week of the competition so just remember you cant have the exact same bet as someone else in your division, regardless of the stake.
 
I think the next season will start in September and the new divisions will be made up of the finishing totals from this competition. A new players thread will be put up nearer the time for anyone who was eliminated from this season or any new members who want to join in.
Thanks for sticking with it during this difficult time, I have tried to keeps things as normal as possible and the response from  the members has been terrific.

Engrave 5.35 Sandown - E.Way 20/1 Bet 365
Engrave was an expensive yearling back in August 2017, but has only been able to run 7 times. Twice placed she is still a maiden but an analysis of her form is quite revealing. Over 10f or a mile she has been 3, 2, 4, 3 fairly competitive. However, when tried over 12f the form lines change significantly 0, 0, 0 (7th/8, 6th/10 and 7th/8). This has resulted in her rating dropping 5lbs. With capable apprentice Dylan Hogan claiming a further 3lbs and back to her favoured distance of 10f she could represent some good each way value.

Yeah, we relaxed the rules for the lockdown but it always been in the rules. 
I'll never get up to date with the admin if it dragged on all night and to be honest we have enough to choose from don't we.
Also causes trouble when it happens on the last day when i need to finalise the prizes etc...

Oh ok, just thought as long as it on the same day, didn't know the other bit. Saved a quid then lol

Two horses already had a run since racing resumed on the all weather, both run at Lingfield. Both ran well and will surely be much better for there respected races.

Royal Ascot Tipsters Competition - Starts Tuesday June 16th
We will be running our annual Royal Ascot tipsters competition once again and this time their will more races then ever before, 36 in total.
 
Rules:
1 selection per race throughout the competition Bets settled to £1 level stakes - WIN Only Bets settled at SP Highest accumulative total over the competition wins £60 cash (via PayPal) Runner Up wins £25 and the third place wins £15, all prizes via your PayPal account. No edits allowed in selection posts No losses incurred for losers or Non Runners Replacement selections for NR's can be posted but must be before the first race deadline All Bets must be posted prior to the first race each day (no exceptions) Not compulsory to enter everyday (so if you miss the first day or two you can still take part) Leaderboard posted each evening All welcome, no need to register

I have been given the sad duty to announce that the owner of Punters Lounge Paul Ross, better known to many as Sir Puntalot passed away in hospital last night after losing his battle with Cancer. He was 45 years old.
I have known Paul for nearly 20 years and many of the members got to meet him at various PL Race days and Poker tournaments.
He was a very good friend to me and was always there on the end of the Phone, Skype, Slack etc....
Paul was very straight forward and always strived to make Punters Lounge the best betting site on the internet, he knew this day was coming and has a team in place to carry on the good work and as he would say, its business as normal.
The funeral will be next week sometime which will be a small family affair due to the Coronavirus situation.

Naps Competition in May
Once again Punters Lounge will be paying enhanced prize money for the Naps competition during May. We may even get some European action with France, Germany, Ireland and the UK all threatening to return soon behind closed doors.
The KO Cup comp will return and the qualifiers from March will be eligible to enter on Saturday May 2nd.
We will accept bets from any racing from around the world during MAY and all bets outside of Europe will be settled at the Industry SP which appears on the ATR or the Hills Results section.

We realise backing horses from the other side of the world is not everyones cup of tea and fully understand those that choose to sit it out until things get back to normal.
