  2. Re: Tennis : French Open (23rd May to 5th June)

So you're the lucky b*****d - remember some guy posting somewhere he had Nadal at 12/1 - who had Nadal at 12/1 before he dropped to 3/1 a month before Roland Garros... :lol I hope Puerta wins the 4th nonetheless to make for an enthralling finale...
I am that lucky b&$t&rd!! Nice touch, watched him play well on the stuff in South America and backed him after Mexico. Was going to back Puerta at 80/1 before Paris, gutted i missed that one!:wall Just backed him at 25/1 for Wimbledon bst price now 14/1.:hope
  3. Re: International Rugby June 3rd-5th Wales team to play the USA on Saturday, 4 June Kick-off: 2000 BST. Wales: Kevin Morgan (Newport Gwent Dragons); Rhys Williams (Cardiff Blues), Mark Taylor (Sale Sharks, capt), Ceri Sweeney (Newport Gwent Dragons), Craig Morgan (Cardiff Blues); Nicky Robinson (Cardiff Blues), Michael Phillips (Cardiff Blues); Duncan Jones (Ospreys), Matthew Rees (Llanelli Scarlets), Adam Jones (Ospreys), Brent Cockbain (Ospreys), Luke Charteris (Newport Gwent Dragons), Jonathan Thomas (Ospreys), Colin Charvis (Newcastle Falcons, vice-captain), Ryan Jones (Ospreys). Replacements: Rhys Thomas (Cardiff Blues), Ben Broster (Saracens), Ian Gough (Newport Gwent Dragons), Richie Pugh (Ospreys), Andrew Williams (Bath Rugby), Matthew Watkins (Llanelli Scarlets), Tal Selley (Llanelli Scarlets). Some fairly experienced internationals included and some are unlucky to miss out on the Lions tour, Wales should be strong enough without their Lions players to win comfortably

  4. Re: Golf - EDS Byron Nelson & British Masters

I'll tell you what Tigers gonna be upto this weekend, hes gonna be putting his feet up and smoking a fat one cos hes just gone and missed the cut!! His first missed cut in an incredible 142 tournaments!1998 was the last year he missed, not a bad record i suppose!!
  5. Re: Master Series : Rome (Tennis)

No' date=' he played with half his mind on querying the tournament supervisor if he reckoned he was insane for requesting that the light emanating from the scoreboard be turned off(Gaudio claimed he couldn't see the ball properly as the colour resembled that off the lights from the scoreboard)! :rollin :rollin[/quote']Sort of attitude you'd expect from a premiership footballer not the bloody French Open winner!
