Great to see star apprentice Benoit de la Sayette win the big race last Saturday...not so good to see him featuring in a potentially damning video on social media where he attended a party [2019] where cocaine was taken by others
Though the kid was not involved in that activity it gave further proof what temptations are around for a young jockey, and if he is to fulfill the role that many say in that he will in the next couple of years become the new stable jockey for John Gosden then he might be wise to watch the company he keeps in his leisure time

Yep, I’d say he’s going to have a very successful career regarding training horses.  It’s already clear to see. Heard his dad isn’t too bad either. 

All ran Okay without success, especially the final bet who was unlucky while the first did not stay but no excuses for the second bet

Been watching closely the training career of Donnacha O'Brien who I think as his breeding suggests has a bright future ahead of him
Like that unlike his brother Joseph he is not interested in the jumping game or middle of the road handicappers, its all about quality and its telling that he had no runners from November till last week as he nurtures his yet to race 3 year old's especially .
Think we can expect some of them to turn out very nicely like the colt Shinsengumi, though I did think his Emporio looked a horse to follow this year after finishing all his three races in 2nd
Worth remembering though that his big race wins last season came with fillies, so watch out for Absolutely who they could not believe got beat on her debut and Igraine who gave me the impression she would be stronger this year same as Oh So Fine who is owned by the "lads"

Put in at 7-4...not eased despite big punt on the Watson newcomer from 3-1 into 11-10!

Not sure I totally agree, yes it was a better ride, (could hardly have been worse) but still think the jockey got him trapped up the inside rail and did not show him any daylight to get any sort of a run, not sure seemed to get a gap run and stopped because gap had gone again. Seems a tight track with not a lot of space.

My main bookie does not offer prices on French racing.
My secondary bookie (RaceBets) offer only 2/1 Silastar!!!!! 
My 3rd bookie only offers Tote prices for horses other than U.S racing.
So its looking like a Tote bet for me!!

No money yet, drifted to 12-1 on bet365. I would have been more confident if a different jockey. What’s the system in France is it 3 runs for a handicap mark as over here, if so with another bad run could be interesting on the 4th run? Looked the possible winner in last race and finished 9th. I’ ve had a couple of quid E/W at 12’s let’s hope the jockey has had some advice!

With 48 hour decs I'll generally put my bets on today but after trawling through since 11 I only fancy a couple on day 1 & with ante post only Champagne Platinum in the Pertemps ( only entry ) & Al Boum Photo in Gold Cup , think both have been laid out a long time ago for their races .
I'll probably have a maximum of 10 bets over the 4 days 3 or 4 win bets & 6 or 7 each ways where the favourite looks worth opposing . 

It’s disappointing but at least we have a festival . The supreme has completely broken up.
