  1. Never got involved after failing to settle early in a race dominated by the first two...still at least his flat turf mark has been protected!
  2. Good luck today 7.20 Chelmsford-Pitcher's Point Each Way @ 15-2 Bet Victor Mentioned this horse on the "General Chat" as one to follow when going on the turf. This is a super competitive race but first time cheekpieces are of interest
  3. This week will hope Yu Liu can continue her momentum from last week Each Way [6 places] @ 125-1 Paddy Power
  4. The man has done more harm with that image than any single incident in my racing history
  5. Also very dark times for Irish racing
  6. 100% Elliott will not be there...his horses will though
  7. BHA have Banned his runners in Britain till outcome known of investigation
  8. Yu played much better to finish in the top 16 despite a poor opening round, but Boutier was very disappointing and missed the cut
  9. I was taken by the win today of Wetlands Looks a lovely staying prospect despite still not the finished article and is in good hands. Would imagine he will not be risked again this season with the spring ground coming, but definitely a horse to put in your tracker
  10. 2nd! Only beaten a neck, but again the race was lost with a sluggish break from the stalls and then in first half of the race never really in a good position and also running green. Did come to challenge the more experienced winner stylishly ,but run petered out close home when for me the energy levels used after the slow start emptied But first two came clear, and I would be surprised if the Godolphin horse confirmed this form if they met again
  11. Lovely ride by Benoit to get his 3rd win on Hint Of Stars tonight Like that he is not whip happy, its all about rhythm and balance. Though obviously he will make mistakes, take a look at his ride at Newcastle last Saturday on the odds on Pitcher's Point As you do not go for home on that track so far from home, and he was on the wrong side. But he is learning his craft and be interested next time he rides that horse as totally unexposed on the turf
  12. Will be the market leader to win his maiden tomorrow over the same CD [12.25] Bet 365 have opened up at 7-4
  13. Finished almost last! But Yu Liu has her first start of the year this week, and would not like to see her go unbacked at 200-1 with Unibet At 80-1 Celine Boutier would also not be without a chance as played Ok in the season opener, and finished 4th on this weeks course last year
  14. Thyme is also 2 years younger than Paisley which I think is an advantage
  15. Stayers Hurdle-Thyme Hill Should be unbeaten this season, my banker of the week Currently 4-1 with Bet 365 or 7-2 NRNB
  16. Mentioned earlier that the Brandt team have lost one of their best horses to David Menuisier, but they do have a promising filly .. Norrey She ran a nice debut 2nd earlier this month at Chantilly
  17. Talking of Graffard, this yet to race 3 year old colt of his has ability am reliably informed Western Soldier
  18. French addition Le Nomade I think his Trainer Francis-Henri Graffard is hugely talented and this colt ran a lovely debut at Chantilly a couple of weeks ago, falling out of the stalls before running on to finish a close up 3rd
  19. As usual I like to put up a dark one trained by the Irish legend Dermot Weld Mitigated Risk Yet to run or have any entries but this 3 year old son of Galileo is expected to be a half decent stayer
  20. Adding this Irish colt Sir Lamorak Though not winning ran with credit behind Ballydoyle stablemates in two top track maidens, will find his feet when going up in trip
  21. Dark horse addition.. Navegaon Gate This Ed Walker colt was 4th on debut in a ordinary back end maiden, but thought he got a lovely introduction to the sport by Tom Marquand who is so good on first time juveniles and this horse will repay that kindness
  22. Adding...Snow Lantern Cracking debut 2nd in a red hot Ascot juvenile last summer ,and I think this Richard Hannon filly could be top class
  23. also adding...Lady Rockstar Her Newcastle debut 4th in a decent novice cried out for a middle distance trip, in very good hands of William/Maureen Haggas
  24. Adding...Ridgeway Avenue Ran two nice races without winning as a juvenile for talented trainer James Ferguson, should make a nice middle distance type
