Re: Best bet of the day 30th April 5-30 punchestown-nicanor-e/way was having his first run over hurdles in 3yrs and he ran a promising race to finish 4th and a repeat of that would he would have an exellent chance on that effort so given an e/way chance here for me

Re: Best bet of the day Mon 27th April 8-10 southwell--king of beers-e/way this horse ran over a mile and half last time and finished second [7L clear of the third horse]but this his a better trip for him,he trounced the others over this c/d the time before last and his course form reads 222412 so with proven course form and the form hes in now he will do e/way for me pls

couldnt agree more but i think its always been done the way it is and people dont like changenotice there are loads of threads for racing selections. wouldnt it be easier to just have a selections thread for each day rather than each meeting? monday 27th april selections monday 28th april chat/debates etc.......... its just more readable, rather than going through every meeting. -

Re: Sandown - Sat 25/4/09 3-10-church island i think this horse as a good chance if the blinkers have the same effect as they did in the irish grand national as he improved for them -good jockey on top-i would have gone for killbegan blade but i think the trouble with him is that in previous he has had trouble sustaing his form and he seems better with cut in the ground-so 4 that reason i will go for church island

bbotd-25th april 3-10-sandown-church-island-e/way with proven form on this ground and the way the the first time blinkers worked last time he must have an exellent chance and he would be the one to beat,he as a good jockey on top and a shrewd trainer so with the hope the blinkers can have the same effect here as was the case with his 2nd in the irish grand national he will do e/way for me

Re: Best bet of the day 24th April 2-35-sandown-cut the cackle-e/way beaten only once in a 6f listed race[trip was to far]and was steped up in to listed company,so back into hcp company today might do the trick and overcame difficulties in running to win a good windsor nursery in october the form of which as workrd out pretty well and resumes on a good mark-so i give him an e/way chance today

Re: Best bet of the day 23rd April 2-40 perth-cool-operator his last two runs were on ground that didnt suit so with this better ground he will do 4 me trainer in great form,good jockey to and he is one with the chance of improving but does have a stiff mark in first hcp,but i will take a chance with him

lol-top-cat-he dosent win on everything he rides mate:okBoth tips above me have forgot one thing ! the champ is not in Perth for ''one ride'' for nothing' date= 2nd last time out at wincanton over the same distance he did make a couple of daft mistakes but AP must have faith in him to travel to Perth to give him his sole ride, we all should have some faith, AP McCoy & BENETWOOD for a steak dinner on the champ, have faith. -

well Blue Jack just failed to last home again & perhaps has to drop to 5f to get on the scoresheet. Will keep it in mind if it drops to OR75 at any point & also seems to go bets at Bath. Looking at Wednesday at the moment but only the Epsom meeting which used to be one of my favs years ago when it was televised (yes midweek racing televised!)[/quo racings on bbc2 tommorow bowles -

Re: Best bet of day 21st April 3-20 kempton-dubai-storming this horse went up 6lbs in his last race which was also a stronger race than this one and even though he as an extra 2lb more he as an obviuos chance in a race where everything his in his favour today he as a good jockey on his back and hes with a good trainer

good luck with this mate :okRight Having taken a couple weeks off Horse Racing, (betting wise anyway), Im re-igniting this thread tomorrow. One change though. Each horse selected will fit one of the following 3 categories. A. Won or Placed in their Maiden 1st time out. B. Won over C&D at any time during their career C. Are a maximum of 3lbs above their last Winning Mark. Category C will no longer be a factor for my bets, now that we are getting into the flat season and there are more choices from maiden races etc... I will be focusing more on that and the previous c&d winners. Table to be updated after racing tomorrow. -

all the best with this bowles good luck :okWas thinking of going "live" with my bets over a 30 day period in order to get the discipline i need. This thread will show EVERY bet i have. I am still having too many bets although i have managed to reduce this. In search of winners, i believe in the method that BTP uses in terms of selecting horses from a notebook. Therefore, from a bank of 100pts, i will looking at using my notebook & also applying a mix of trends & also looking at value. Not sure when the 1st bet will be, but will list the notebook horses in here. If succesful, will continue through each month. -

well done BH great selection :nana:nana:nana:nana320 Win Launde EW Really tempted to go with Topflight Wildbird again over at Stratford but noted Launde on his way back to something like his best the last couple of runs in company a bit better than today. Since changed stables has regained his front running tactics and could get these at it on this ground and hopefullt hang on in the home straight for a podium finish at least. -
Re: Best bet of day 19th april 4-00 stratford-charmaine-wood as only had 5 starts and could still be improving even though this is the min trip for him.he as good pilot on top and yard in good form he meet trouble in running in a listed race at newbury and he shouldbe capable of making an impact here so given chance to do so

Re: Best Bet of the Day - Sat 18 April 3-25 ayr-sound-accord-e/way i think this horse as a good chance here as a good jockey on top and he should be suited to this trip,the one thing that is a worry is is tendency to jump out to the right but if he can sort that out he would have a decent chance,he is closely weighted with west end rocker and he as a nice pull in the weights with west end rocker who is more fancied than sound accord here so he will do e/way for me
