The 12.27 at Lingfield is a competitive race, the 11/2 about Rocking Ends has all gone and 7/2 is the best on offer, the exchanges are low on liquidity at this time with around 5.9 available. The way he won his most recent race suggests there could be more to come, winning with ease. This race is a little better and he has a penalty to carry but from that race the 2nd 4th and 5th all come out to win next time up, solid form. Win and 2 places.............? Managed 2.48 in the 2Tbp market, a profits a profit!! finished 2nd.
Had Kings Gem, 2.00 Southwell, got out of the stalls quicker then he may well of won last time in the same class of race, he wasnt stopping so the extra furlong tomorrow should see him in a good light, hoping that Spencer has one of his better days, currently around the 2.18 mark on the exchanges......Spencer?

5.30 Km Super Mo 2.04 AT 2.92 = 2 V 3.92 ( I can't find anything that suggests that 12 furlongs will suit this horse. It looks as though there are at least two other market players that have good chances of winning so I will take this one on.
I didn't watch the race but I read that Super Mo did lead at one stage during the contest.  French Invasion won well.  +2 today so pulled a bit back from yesterday's bad results.  MTD now -6.90

Very speculative one today ....dinoo is hot ticket in this but has only just been getting home over 10f and it will be running slow tonight which all goes against him .....legendary day returns to a.w on a pretty good mark and yard are in the winners ....murhib is well treated but getting on ...returns after long break but that might be best time to catch him ....I'll try 5pt wins on top 2 for a bit of interest

The liquidity on betfair is the deciding factor and the timing. If its a price missed, like todays was, I'll take the best on offer at the time should it looks as though the price is still dropping, I use Gruss and the ladder graphs are very useful as to seeing where the money is and its also quicker to place your bet using the Betfair API. Sometimes on the bigger priced ones I'll settle for Bfsp if at the time the liquidity is low and not much is available, its the better priced ones where you gain a better percentage advanage over the Industry Sp. Of course they often drift!! Nothing is perfect, but I find the use of Gruss is a major benefit.

Calonne a non runner and a disappointing run from Finery so I take a 3 pts loss today.  MTD is -10.76

Finished second last time out in a Maiden to a horse rated 77, Mr Escobar was giving that one a hell of a lot of weight, his nearest market rival today has a rating of just 66..........? Won, just a shame I wasnt quick enough to get the early 5.2 on offer, still 2.44 beat the Sp, hit 40 in runing!

I like the look of Missed Tee in the 1.40 at Hereford for the Skelton team, she won a mare point before finishing fourth on her stable debut and then going on to win her maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter next time up. The second in that race went on to finsish second again at level weghts to a horse rated 121, giving the impression that a rating of around 116 would be a decent mark so as our selection gets in here for her handicap debut off a rating of jst 109 then she has to be of interest, 2.48 was taken for ths one..............................What a cracking finish, Won by just getting back up on the line?

7.00 Wolves Hit Mac 2.04 at 2.40 = 2 v (2.86).  Very consistent horse and has a good chance of winning this race.  Not sure if blinkers will work the oracle and there are quite a few in the race that could thwart its effort.  George Boughey also runs the frustrating Danger Alert in the previous race and is trying blinkers on this one too.  I think this would be better with a hood than blinkers.  However, the horse should have a better chance at winning than my chosen lay selection regarding class and lack of competition.  Other short-priced horses look too dangerous to lay today

Hit Mac finally wins; by a neck.  I don't think George Boughey has ever had 3 winners at one meeting before today.  At least I chose the most vulnerable of his horses running today.  I think that the wide draw thwarted Tom Marquand's effort on Boom The Groom.  A loss of 2.86 today brings the MTD to - 7.19.  I will look for more lay prospects tomorrow
