1. Sep VANMARCKE stage 4 winner 11/1 Bet365 Sep Vanmarcke is a cyclist who excels on the cobbles and will almost certainly target this stage. He performed well in a similar cobbled stage in last year’s tour. Vanmarcke was being paced by his teammate Lars Boom, but unfortunately punctured at an inopportune moment leaving Boom to take the win. If it wasn’t for the puncture I feel sure that he would have won. A similar performance on the cobbles this year is highly likely.
2. King of the mountains Simon Yates ew 66/1 most bookies Predicting the King of the mountains winner is tricky for a variety of reasons. You never know for sure who is going to go for it or if an overall GC contender could win it inadvertently. The likes of Rolland and Arrendondo will undoubtedly be aiming for it and should be there or thereabouts. Former winner Quintana is the clear favourite but his priority will surely be the overall GC so the overall contenders will not let him break away. One man who could come into contention at a big price is Simon Yates. He looked in the form of his

5.
Hey guys, quick Q: Shouldn't my bet on Radwanska +4.5 have been returned in today's match? She lost 3-6 and 4-6. I was a bit surprised, but I guess it isn't possible to get a draw on a bet like this then, double 6-4 would win, 6-4/6-3 loses. Cheers.
She lost by five games so unfortunately the bet loses. As you say If it was 6-4 6-4 the bet would have come in as she would have lost by 4 games. The point of the .5 is so that there can't be a draw. Hope this makes sense

7. Pierre-Hugues Herbert to beat Bernard Tomic (in running) 7/1 Ladbrokes Despite losing the first set I can see Herbert causing an upset here at large odds. I just don’t trust Tomic who can blow hot and cold. He got nowhere near Herbert’s serve in set 1. 7/1 a decent price

9. Lesia Tsurenko to beat Irina-Camelia Begu 31/20 sporting bet Tsurenko is the lower ranked player but is a good grass court player winning more than she loses. Begu on the other hand is an out and out clay courter and could be vulnerable here. At odds against I’m willing to back the underdog.

11. Jana Cepelova v Simona Halep score after 4 games 4-0 Halep 4/1 PaddyPower Halep should have no problem outclassing her opponent here. The good thing about Halep is that she usually males mincemeat of inferior opponents winning sets 6-0 or 6-1. Adding weight to the argument Cepelova recently lost 6-1 6-1 in a Birmingham qualifier to Duque-Marino; who is clearly inferior to Halep. I see a comfortable Halep win here and 4-0 at 4/1 looks pretty decent value to me.

13. Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2015 Just seen the Finland entry: a special needs group singing a punk song. Not sure that the Eurovision world is ready for it; but it definitely stands out. Might be worth a small dabble at 20/1 most bookies or 28/1 Betfair.
14. Re: Scottish Football > March 17th - 23rd Rangers v Alloa Alloa to win 14/1 Betvictor and Skybet I can’t help feeling that Rangers are being marked up on reputation rather than their performances. Rangers have had a disappointing season and have only managed only one win from their last eight in all competitions. Add to that the fact that they and only drew at home to bottom club Livingstone at the weekend and their odds-on quotes look very skinny. Rangers and Alloa have met four times already this season with a win each and two draws. Yes Rangers have the quality to run away with
15. Re: UK Open 6-8 Mar Vincent van der Voort to win 100/1 Betvictor I really like this tournament my only bugbear is the coverage. All too often we are left watching one sided games featuring big names whilst missing out on close exciting games elsewhere. In an ideal world I would love a multiscreen option whereby you can select the match of your choice. With no seedings there’s always the prospect of carnage in the early rounds if big names are drawn together. The random FA cup style draw virtually guarantees that some of the lesser lights will progress further than they would in a norma
16. Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2014 > May 10th Yeah I liked Iceland but its a bit of a Marmite song and will do well to finish in the top half.

18. Re: Premier League > Thursday April 10th Van Gerwen checkout over 106.5 Coral 5/6 Van Gerwen has been hitting ton plus finishes for fun culminating in a 164 last week. In fact the bet would have come in easily in the last three weeks. In this form I can easily see him hitting another 106.5 + finish.
19. Re: UK Open 2014 - 7-9 Mar Ian White to beat Daryl Gurney 2/5StanJames, Boylesport I don’t usually back odds on but 2/5 is a much better price than I would have imagined. White is a very capable player who can mix it with the best. Gurney is capable enough but is a couple of levels below White. The two met recently with White running out the 6-1 victor.Unless White has a shocker I can only see one winner. Aaron Holdstock to beat Kevin McDine 11/2 Coral Bet365 Once upon a time I thought McDine had the talent to break into the top 16. Unfortunately that never came to fruition. Som
20. Re: UK Open 2014 - 7-9 Mar Mervyn King to win UK Open 80/1Sportingbet, Coral, Paddypower, Boylesport King has always been a controversial player and can often let the crowd get to him but there is no doubting his talent. It’s no secret that the death of his father who was an ever present supporter of him; devastated him and clearly had an adverse affect on his darts. It’s been a long wait for King to show signs that he is back to his best. But his recent run to the final of the Dutch Masters shows that he is once again in great form. That was some achievement considering he was clear
21. Re: Premier League - Week 5 Wes Newton to beat Simon Whitlock 13/8 Sportingbet It’s always worth opposing a player who’s struggling for form and Whitlock undoubtedly falls into that category. Whitlock has not only lost every game so far but he’s also failed to really be competitive in any. There’s obviously no doubting Whitlock’s talent but there has to be a question mark over his temperament. Ever since his 17-15 loss at 2011 World Matchplay when he surrendered 15-8 lead to Andy Hamilton; Whitlock went into my notebook as someone who could crack under pressure and could go on a
22. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > February 21st & 22nd York to beat Southend 9/5 Betvictor Nearly 2/1 for York is a great price in my opinion. I stated back on January 11th when York were languishing around the relegation zone that they are much better than their league position would suggest. They have duly climbed to 11th but still seem underestimated by the bookmakers. Throughout the season York have been competitive in most games but have not turned their draws into wins due to silly defending and poor finishing. The York team has been completed reshaped throughout the season and look
23. Re: Dutch Darts Masters - 14-16 Feb Kevin Thomas to beat Steve Beaton 2/1 Boylesport The Welshman was very impressive in the first round beating Wayne Jones 6-1. Admittedly Jones isn’t the hardest opponent to defeat but he did so with comparative ease. Beaton is one of the smoothest, most natural players in the game but is quite erratic. Sometimes he can look like a world beater and other times look decisively average. With the form Thomas is in Beaton would have to be at his very best to beat him and I’m willing to bet that he doesn’t. Cullen to beat Part 11/10 Skybet Can’t
24. Re: Dutch Darts Masters - 14-16 Feb Jamie Caven to win 40/1 most bookies It’s not very often you get such disparity in a draw. The second quarter is totally lacking in big guns. I can completely see why Kev tipped up Huybrechts: the only seeded players in his quarter are Part, Dolan and Nicholson. The unseeded players are nothing to write home about either with perhaps Ronny Huybrechts and Joe Cullen the best of the bad bunch. So it’s a great opportunity for someone to grab a semi final place. By contrast Caven’s quarter is loaded with talent; with the likes of White, Wright and And
25. Re: Crystal Palace v Manchester United > Saturday February 22nd Crystal Palace double chance 6/4 Bet365 On form this price seems a nonsense. Either the bookies are underestimating Palace or pricing up Man Utd on reputation. Palace are in decent form at home having won 5 of their last seven home games, drawing 1 and losing just the one. With decent form like that and Man Utd's indifferent form its hard to justify United as short price favourites. Man Utd are obviously still full of decent players but their form does not justify such a short price.
