  1. Re: Goodwood 26/09

You have nicked the one I was going to nap. Kirkless was classy at 2 for Mark Johnston including a group 1 and was very impressive LTO as you say in a very cosy win. It had a placed effort last year on good to soft so rain should not be a major concern. Frankie has chosen this one over the other Godolphin hope and despite Illustrious Blue's course form' date= Kirkless is potentially in a completely different league in this listed contest.
I was going to NAP this too, I missed it last time out, which was annoying. Although I am having a look at the 2.55 race: Funny Me J Fortune P W Chapple-Hyam Steps upto 1m1f today and should take all the beating... 2 winners out of 2 - happy with that :nana
  2. Re: Doncaster - Fri 14/09/07

DISTINCTION 2.40 Doncaster Made his belated reappearance in the Goodwood Cup after a full year out before finishing fourth to Septimus at York. He's a big horse and is possibly taking some time getting fully fit after his absence. Reportedly connections are happy with him at home "He has got all his old enthusiasm and zest back" and they expect him to go well. If returning to his very smart best he would have strong claims here and is a very solid E/W 11/1
I do like this horse, but today I prefer the stable-mate; Donc 2.40 2 Allegretto - 2nd to Peeping Fawn last time out, possible doubts about Septimus fitness today, and Frankie on board this Stoutes horse, should pull this one off. :cheers
  3. Re: Doncaster Thur 13/09

ALL MY LOVING 3.10 Doncaster I cant help being put off the weights of Turbo Linn,All My Loving is over a stone lighter and Turbo Linns excellent form has got to come to an end soon. O'Brien's raider has been beaten by some very high class runners (Peeping Fawn,Lightshift and Silkwood). This extra 2 furlongs should suit and has the excellent Mick Kinane on board.
A tough one to call here with Turbo Linn on cracking form. Think a reverse forecast may be in order here with All My Loving...:hope

ReasoningIrish horses are always interesting when they come across to Britain and this is no different. The selection is trained by top trainer Christie Roche. The horse has some decent form across in Ireland and it looks as if they may have come across here to get a win into it.
I have had a small e/w on this early this morning too :hope
  5. Re: Daily NAPS - Wed 12/09/07 Haydock 2.30 SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: BONNY ROSE (nap) did really well to divide a couple of fair sorts at Redcar last month and she has plenty going for her over a trip which should suit. Change of Jockey today which could ensure a win ! Seconds to a 100/1. would have been nice to have the forecast on that lol.

  6. Re: Leicester 11/09/07

20070911Les165004.png IBN KHALDUN 4.50 Leicester Godolphins sole runner on the card and Frankies 3rd ride of the afternoon. He soon made amends from a bad start LTO to finish a good 4th, he should come on for that and I cant really see him getting beat with Bin Suroors number 1 on board
This is my selection for Leicester for today. Pencilled in for 4 Group 1 entries for the future, this is an ideal race to get off the mark today :hope
  7. Re: Lingfield 11/09/07 1.40: SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Tricky to call with no real solid form to work with. Most of these are likely to excel over longer distances next year but INSAAF is bred to be sharper than most and, with her stable in good form right now, she may be up to the task.[AWJ] N/R 4.10 MISSIT second last time out over 5f at Goodwood. Channon is in form and this step upto 6f should see a win today I think. WINNER 11/8 :nana 2.10 ROMANY PRINCESS (e/w) Thought is Free is probably going to be the fav here today, but there may be doubts about its fitness. Rp ratings are 89 compared to 109 for Thought Is Free. Hannon on board today could be useful , as the fav has Keniry instead of John Egan riding for the first time. WINNER 7/2 ( I got 5/1 ) :nana :hope

  8. Re: Greyhound laying system (SR 93% - ROI 54%)

good start nehemiah. greyhounds is always something i've seen as a night out and not something id bet on regularly. This thread has definitely opened my eyes. Hope the the success continues.
Likewise, this is a sport I have had nights out at and never won a penny. This is certainly an interesting thread and system, long may it continue :)
  9. Re: Hereford - Wed 05/09/07 I saw part of the race, going along nicely at the front with 2 others, about 5 left to jump, then as I came back with a coffee in hand was dropping further and further back.... I gather before the race they had a bit of trouble to get her down towards the start though... :wall

  10. Re: Hereford - Wed 05/09/07

4.30 Classi Maureen EW Trip and ground ideal, and although 11lbs higher than last win ran well LTO and can get back to winning ways in this ordinary event
I had a text from a friend this morning who has just put £50 e/w on this. He's taken it with Echo of Light ( Dettoris only ride at York ) and also Vanquished in 4.20 @ Lingfield as part of a treble and doubles.
  11. Re: Musselburgh 30/08/07

3.10 Khandala Michael Bell doesnt come to Musselburgh from Newmarket that often & is 3 from 4 with his 2yo's at the track (75%) 8th on its debut at Windsor but ran ok that day. Will be suited by the step up to 7f (well bred up to 1m) & should go well for hayley Turner.
I think that is one to certainly watch today, I am going to have a small each way double too with KYBER in the 3.40 I was tipped this when it was due to run at Ayr and got 25/1 on it before it was a non runner... Winner last time out here, it likes the course, so should oblige again today. 30 Aug 07 Muss Good to Firm 1m 6f Grade 5 8st 11lb - J S Goldie G Bartley 14 Aug 07 Muss Good 1m 6f Grade 6 9st 3lb 1st 2-1 Kyber 2-1 / 9st 3lb J S Goldie G Bartley tracked leaders, smooth headway to lead 3f out, ridden over 1f out, :hope
  12. Re: Top rated system

not sure why i couldnt access PL earlier but sods law, just been able to log in & the only selection today was 3.50 Catterick Musical Beat 1st 13/2 i will count it unless others decide i shouldnt. The terms of the system are there to see & if able , i was going to post up earlier but PL was offline.
I tried 4 or 5 times to log on this afternoon, rebooted my pc too just in case. Good winner, I hope you had a few shillings on it :ok
