Re: Ruby down, call for Johnson? Correct me if Im wrong....... but until the injury to Ruby, Johnson (the second most winning jockey of all time), didnt have a ride either did he? ------------------------------------------ at least he had mounts on the other races--Dafty---if you could be bothered to read a racecard
-
Re: Ruby down, call for Johnson? What gives you the right to label anyone on the forum a dafty or a clown for their opinion that a jockey isn't good? Particularly, when you made a thread, not 2 weeks ago, pretty angrily stating that Choc Thornton is no longer a good jockey and should be sacked!! Not everyone is gonna agree.... but glass houses and all that.... --------------------------------- Guess i was right with Choc statement as he could'nt even get a ride at the saturday national meeting[the biggest saturday meeting of the year]--[for a so called top 7 rider which was stated on here--he must feel a little p1ssed] and i'm sure trainers seem to be in agreement with my assessments rather some defenders of said jockey ----------------- As for slating on here of the 2nd most winning jockey[nh]of all time, i dont think its justified. Sometimes i'm disappointed with some rides givin by jockeys but in general its outweighed by the good rides they give.
-
Re: Ap what a great ride from A/P Never in a million did i think he would win the national with his hustle a bustle style of riding--but rode that 1 so quietly--very well done A/P

Re: Grand National 2010 well riden---:clap congrats tony

Re: Grand National 2010
-------------------------------------- only becauce its matched with VicVenturi and it never finished--so void betOh wait a minute...Ladbrokes finally back up after all their punters must have logged on to check their winnings and they've refunded match-bets on King Johns Castle! Phew! :lol -
Re: Ruby down, call for Johnson? i cant used McCoy as a comparison now did'nt think he would ever ride a national winner[mccoy]but he gave that a peach of a ride well done tony:clap
-
Re: Ruby down, call for Johnson? Maybe if you can race read you would understand the race Johnson rode at Ascot on Menorah--as i've pointed out on a thread somewhere on here. Right if he wanted he coulda won at Ascot pulling a cart--i still think he rode this horse to win--but also wanted horse to learn how to race from the jockeys instuctions --not the horse's way. When peeps throw up his record in the national as terrible--as he holds the second most winners record, its only fair to use McCoy's the current holder as a comparison seems fair. Maybe i should'nt have used "clowns" in thread--but give him credit 2.000 plus winners and second in all time list=a poor jockey???---equals a LOL from me:ok
-
Re: Ruby down, call for Johnson? get in Dickie--fron dawn dusk shut these clowns up
-
Re: Ruby down, call for Johnson? check McCoy's record in national--you dafties Johnson is a good jockey:ok some of you's critized his ride on Menorah at Ascot as an example of his poor riding--lol. He learned that horse more in defeat, than winning

Any of you fella's watch the 2 hurdle races--where 2 odds/on favs have race at their mercy coming to the last hurdle--only to swerve violently and unseat their jockeys. Was rumours about lasers a year ago---seem to be back in action

Re: R Thornton needs sacking Ginge thanks for your coments Lets start with Bensalems last 3 runs jan23rd hay--4 runner races--cantering in last place, turning into straight DiamondHarry really quickens pace going to 3rd last--Choc decides to barge between horses and in my view caused Bensalem to fall, as horse was a little distracted barging between runners. 13th feb newbury--3 horse race--again cantering in last place.the leader InchnadalyRock is continually jumping vilently out to right at each fence. What does Choc decide to do???chalenge on the outside going to the cross fence, when he had acre's of track to make the challenge on inside--result--demolished the fence and lucky to survive. 16th mar Chel--24 runners--always going well came to 2nd last with plenty of horse,Choc seemed to be searching for a stride,at that moment other jocks are commiting their horses became pretty tight and down he went. I believe there is a huge race in this horse and dont believe hes that bad a jumper--as long as he is not soured

Re: Meydan 27th March (World Cup Day)
----------------------- Great to see a top team work in harmony--- great filly[DarReMe] and the future champion jockey[WBuick] in action:notworthy nice pointer bowles10forgot it was world cup day !! That 1.20 race looks a stormer for a start, ASSET has always been a favourite of mine and 25/1 for a Godolphin runner at this meeting stands out a bit for me especially if they ride it properly i.e dont get so far behind and it may get a place. WAR ARTIST is a star but leaves it a bit late, will be pouncing at the end late. Again 8/1 looks a decent EW price. 4.35 DAR RE MI hasnt raced since the breeders cup when 3rd to Conduit. All its form stands up so 9/1 another EW selection in a hot race. -
This jockey has totally lost the plot--must be 1 of the worst jockeys to have a top job--riding for 1 of the best stables.[A.King] I know A Kings horses have not been in top form all season, but the amount of mistakes and falls this jockey gives his mounts during a race is terrible --can he not see strides???. I'm sure he is gonna wreck a few decent horses careers before they even start ,with his pathetic horsemanship.
